Working with Jen to buy our first home was such a wonderful experience! While COVID-19 required social distancing and our first ever ZOOM meeting, Jen never left us feeling disconnected or isolated. We always felt like she had our best interests at heart, and really listened to the things we wanted. Jen was always responsive and never left us hanging on a text or waiting for a call back. She was both receptive and perceptive. When touring properties, Jen made sure to bring our attention to big things like how my tall husband would hit his head when doing laundry in the century-old basement, or the lack of power for a dryer beside the washer, or signs of prior floor repairs. She also got to know us well enough to be able to point out things specific to our needs like where would be great locations for our dog’s bed and how I would hate to walk so far to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Her knowledge of the area and market got us in for hard to get showings and helped us get the house. By getting to know us she ensured that it will be the perfect home for years to come. Once our offer was accepted, Jen’s awesomeness didn’t stop. She and her team made sure we knew and understood the dates and deadlines, and even sent check-ins before deposits were due or contingency periods ended. From offer, to inspection, to the seller’s rent-back, Jen had our back and made sure that we were protected and well-cared-for throughout the whole process. Between Jen, her team, and our amazing loan officer, there were no surprises, delays or hiccups along the way. We can’t say enough wonderful things, or recommend her enough.

We where in our home for 32 years so needless to say things have changed since we bought/sold any real estate. Jen guided us through the process from beginning to end. Her advice and always upbeat encouragement were enormous in helping us through this stressful time (compounded by an unprecedented pandemic viral infection). Jen was referred to us by my mom, who had just bough a house 6 months before we did. My boyfriend and I were buying our first home and although we were super excited, we had no clue what we were doing and were nervous as well. Jen was amazing! We were buying our first home and had a very limited budget. She didn't once give us the feeling that we weren't as important as those buying houses well over the price of ours. She treated us with respect and made sure to give us all information in a way we could understand. Jen is a great agent and I would definitely use her again! I found Jen Hohenberger on Angie?s List in early 2014. After contacting Jen, she met me at my home within a few days. Jen is a professional with great style and personality. We discussed the listing price and her marketing proposal. I signed with her immediately. Pictures were taken that day and the house was on the market within 3 days. New pictures were taken after I met with Jen?s stager and a personalized sign with a URL quick scan link was placed on the property. Jen only sent listings for the property types I was looking for and went with the flow when I threw in a few that didn?t match my original criteria. We looked at more than two dozen condos and she made things easy by meeting me at a location and then doing all the driving. She was very good at pointing out potential repairs at the homes we visited. I felt she really had an understanding of what I was looking for in a new property. Jen was in touch frequently and reachable within 24 hours if not sooner. If she was going to be unavailable she left another contact. When my spirits lagged and my negativity kicked in, Jen?s optimism and sunny disposition picked me up and kept me on track. An offer came in on my house in late May. Jen did not try to influence my decision and allowed me to work through the offer on my own. After a bit of negotiating, I settled on a price that was lower than what I had initially anticipated but was acceptable to me and was more in line with what the market offered in that area at the time. Had I been open at the beginning of the process to the listing price Jen suggested, the house probably would have sold faster. I would definitely use Jen again and recommend her highly to others. Jen was amazing! She stayed on top of the process continually, from when we first listed my home at the beginning of June, through contract acceptance 30 days later and settlement in September. I truly felt that she was my advocate and valued her experience and advice?this was my third home sale, so I wasn't new to the process. My home sold within 30 days at a price that was approximately 96% of my asking price, and she was able to negotiate a settlement date that accommodated my move to NC. I fully recommend Jen if you are looking for a realtor's assistance.

When we first met with Jen, she completed a very good presentation. However, in the end it was mostly "fluff". During her presentation she told us that she would be contacting us once a week during this process. This did not happen. Everything was automated with a Customer Service Unit that would schedule viewings. There was no guidance of what was expect edof the seller when these house viewings would occur. In fact one time an agent showed up several hours before the scheduled viewing and my 12 year old granddaughter was alone getting ready for a shower and they walked in. Needless to say we were extremely upset and when we called the office to speak to someone got no response or apology or even a follow up to how this occurred. Jen is the type of representative that is good if there were no problems. When problems do occur she does not handle them very well in fact she does not support her customer. Her lack of support during this whole process caused us much stress and extreme concerns and we knew that selling a house and moving is already stressful, but this was much more difficult than it needed to be The buyer's broker was very difficult to deal with and she avoided dealing with him and in the end it cost us more money than it should have at settlement. He was extremely rude and just totally unprofessional. In conclusion, any professional person dealing with clients (Jen) should never ever add a smiley face to her emails to her client. We were extremely disappointed in how the sale of our house was handled and promises not kept that were made at the initial meeting with her.

Jen's worked her network of peers to line up potential buyers before our house even hit the market. That was huge in our case, as the first of those potenial buyers made an offer the very first week, and ultimately bought the home several weeks later. Jen's easy to work with and extremely prompt - very professional.

She's really honest and knows her stuff. She knows the area and has my best interests at heart. Not only would I use her to sell my house if I decide to in the future, but I'd use her to purchase a house also. She checks in with me from time to time to see if anything has changed and her follow up has been great.

Jen is awesome! She helped us navigate through all the hoops, and I've networked with her many times since then. I've recommended her to several clients and friends, and she's done great work for them, too. She went above and beyond to help us out and she's very responsive.

I think she's a good person but I selected another realtor to list my house. She had great follow up proceedures and invited me to another senior group later on.

She's wonderful. We're very, very pleased with her! She's pleasant and a hard worker. She gets things done. She has arranged about 20 showings in our home. We've had about 4 people interested in our house.

She's done a superb job. She's one of the Top 100 realtors in the county. She's very well networked and she goes out of the way to give her clients a list all the different contractors a homeowner might need. She'll also give her clients a wallet of business cards and is very good at connecting her clients with services her clients might need. She also can deal with very sticky situations. She's very good at helping a client with needs and she has a very good reputation with other realtors as well. She specializes in this area and assists homeowners who are ready to downsize from a large home into a smaller home or into a 55+ active community. Jennifer is very community minded and she goes out of her way to volunteer in several different capacities.

She seemed very nice and knowledgeable. We haven't done anything with her, but we were very impressed with her. She has sent us various informative items, like magazines, through the mail to keep up with us. However, we already have a real estate agent that we work with now.

We used Coldwell Banker Preferred. The lady was pleasant, she asked nothing out of the ordinary, it was pretty soon found. We are almost done with her, actually we don't have any contact with her unless the other party needs something but basically we are done with it. I guess this should be it then, I don't know whether they've come to the end or not. She was on time, always on time. I think she was pretty professional.
