Everdry Basement Waterproofing

We had a lot of dampness and mold starting to really take root in our basement. The previous owners left a dehumidifier which we ran 24/7 to keep the dampness from the floor, but the cinder-block walls were obviously full of water. We had Everdry install the multi-step system with drains on the outside and inside including the EZ Breathe. Tony and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job keeping the dirt and dust to a minimum while they worked. Tony walked me through their approach and kept me updated on progress of the installation. Tony also did a final walk through with me. We called Ever Dry for a minor problem that popped up in the garage area. We had the waterproofing done 11 years ago. They sent out a person to check things out within a few days. The work will be done in a couple of weeks. Because they give a lifetime warranty, we will not be charged for the work done. When it rained hard, before we had the waterproofing done, we spent many sleepless nights worrying about water coming up in the window wells. We no longer have to worry - what a relief it has been! It went very well. There was a lot of work involved in this process. The men were very conscientious about keeping dirt and dust to a minimum. They were polite and punctual at all times. Mark the foreman was very helpful and patient with all my questions and concerns. He checked daily to see if I had any questions.

They were on time and extremely professional, all the work was done very well and completed well within the time limit they had expressed. This was all done with no upcharge to our ongoing warranty fee. Would highly recommend for any waterproofing needs.

While courteous, this was the sloppiest crew that I ever hired. Interior jackhammering was necessary for several days all day long, but measures were not taken to protect everything from cement dust permeating everything in my home (upstairs & down) to the point that I was hospitalized for 4 days due to severe respiratory problems. After complaining, when they returned to "complete" the job and clean up, I asked if this was how they left everyone's home, the answer I got was a grinning "no"! There are numerous other problems that are too involved to get into. They haven't responded to my correspondence, but being an "elderly" single woman I'm used to shabby treatment by contractors. Beware, ladies.

I contacted them as a potential sub-contractor on a restoration. They refused to inspect the property or give me a quote on the work or the price without "all the home owners present" If they were the sub on the job and would be working for the trust ownership would they expect all the stakeholders to stop what they were doing to go look at a damp floor? I will never contact them again and would recommencement using a company that are more professional to contractors.

It was one of the first major home improvement project we did after buying our house. Like many houses here in Western Pa, our home is built into a hill, with the basement and garage below grade on 3 sides and walk out on the back. Prior to having the work done, we would sometimes see moisture on the walls and floors of our unfinished basement. Since then, we have next to no problems with water in our basement and garage. We pay an annual maintenance fee, and Everdry has been very responsive when we have had questions or concerns. They have come out and filled in small cracks in the concrete block wall, checked the pump, and on one occasion determined that the battery back up for our pump had died and needed to be replaced. They have always been professional and helpful.

The Everdry waterproofing system was installed in my home by the previous owner. The transferable warranty was an important factor in my decision to purchase the home. It is a great comfort to know that if there is ever a water issue in my basement, Everdry will stand behind their work.

We needed them to return because we were still getting water in our basement and they did come and fixed it. They cracked our driveway and are taking a long time fixing it. there clean up was almost nonexistent and they promised to leave our grounds the way they were before they worked on our property and did not.

The crew arrived on time and the foreman explained in detail the work they would be doing. The guys on the crew were courteous and friendly and they all explained the process they were working on. Three and one half days later they were finished and ironically the next 2 days we had hard steady rail. The basement floor stayed dry just like the foreman said it would. We are very pleased with the work, the clean up and the courteousness of the crew. We would recommend them anytime.

Job only took two days. The crew and foreman were friendly. I liked that they offered warranties for things. Everdry has been great to work with so far!!

They sent a different crew every day. What should have taken 1 week ended up taking 3 weeks. I have had to call them back out several times because the basement keeps leaking in water. And every time they would send 6-8 guys and only maybe 1 or 2 had I seen before.

Workers were very efficient and did a great job completing the work that was explained to me to fit our needs. Needed a follow up visit when heavy rains came and identified a little extra work that was needed to solve the problem and they took care of it quickly.

I was told that there was no way they could set up an appointment until I committed to a time my spouse could also be present. I, several times, told them that there was no need to meet with anyone other than me. She refused to set an appointment and I hung up. This tells me that they will employ a high pressure sales tactics. I will take my business elsewhere.
