Handyside Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical

I've used them for electrical and plumbing or in the past. They were easy to deal with, very professional and electrical work was very reasonably priced.

Handyside was great. from the time we called to the time someone came out to our house it was less than a week. The technician was very professional and worked quickly. He kept me informed of what he was doing the entire time and would not begin to work on a new project without showing me what he did or what was wrong. he also gave some suggestions on how we can improve and maintain our ac unit.

Handyside are 100% professional and are very nice people. Able to clean and correct problem in short amount of time, and it has been fine since.

The job went pretty well. He showed up during the time period they told me he would arrive and was here about five hours total.

I remodeled my kitchen this spring and Handyside did all the plumbing/HVAC for my project. The project included relocating the stove, fridge, sink, dishwasher, disposal, two return air ducts, and two supply air ducts. They also replaced all the vents in the home and installed the plumbing hardware/fixtures. The process went very smoothly and I was very happy with the result. Their price was competitive and their work was of a high quality. They were able to put enough people on the project to complete it in one day which was very helpful for me. I would use them again and recommend them to my family and friends.

Came to fix an old seized AC unit. I fully expected them to tell me the unit was done and that I would have to buy a new system... ended up a $100 or so repair bill. Very pleased!

We have used Handyside's in the past and had very good experiences. We decided to contact them first for this new work even though I saw some recent unfavorable comments on Angie's List. Bryan Handyside met with my husband and I and went over a lot of options that we could consider based upon our existing heating and air conditioning set up and the size of our home. We discussed quality and cost. Bryan had two detailed proposals in our Email before the close of business the same day. Our request for the earliest installation was honored. Tim and Sherman arrived before 8:00 on the 5th and began the tear out of our old systems. Bryan stopped by in the morning to assure that the job was going well. Tim and Sherman worked hard all day long. They returned on the 6th and finished the job by lunch. We are very pleased. Bryan stopped by on the 9th to go over the new thermostat with my husband. Before leaving he reiterated that all we had to do was call if we had any problems and he would be here to help us out. Our three experiences hiring Handyside's have all been outstanding. The work ethic and overall quality of this company is superior to any that I have dealt with in the past.

I would never recommend them to anybody. We had used them a couple of times and their service people were very arrogant. We had called them to basically do a maintenance on our air conditioning unit and furnace and when the man came, he was very arrogant to my wife, she didn't answer the door right away and the first thing he said to her is, 'what's the matter, are you out shopping?' and he was just very arrogant and he has been there before and he was arrogant and he talk too fast so I basically called the company and cancelled the visit, told them that their employee shouldn't be working with people and they apologized and sent my money back and they offered me a free cleaning but I said I didn't want to deal with them anymore.

Work was done well and in a timely manner, they cleaned up nicely and I was very happy with the results. My one issue is originally I was led to believe that the work was going to be all done in one day but that turned out not to be the case. They showed up right at 7am as they had said the first day and then were done around 12:30. They wanted 2 guys present to do shower drain as it involved cutting and breaking cement floor. Apparently because of other urgent service calls only 1 person was available so I was told they would be back in the morning around the same time. Well 9:30 came and still no one. I called the office and they were not aware of what was going on. I received a call back shortly and was told there were emergency service calls so they again did not have 2 technicians available but that they would be out after lunch. They did arrive at 2:30pm, little later than and quot;after lunchand quot; in my book. They finished by 5pm and everything was good. I had no problems with the 2 day arrangement but the communication could have been better. To sum it up, they did very good work, were very friendly, and had the BEST price by far out of the 3 estimates I received. In my book it was the only fair price as the others were just ridiculous. I will use them again if I need services they provide with out question and probably with out even getting competing estimates.

Everything went very well. I have no complaints on their service at all and will most definetely use them again if needed.

My entire experience was Excellent. I called in the morning and on the same afternoon Bryan came out to give me an estimate. Bryan was able to answer all of the questions I had regarding tankless hotwater heaters. I was very impressed that this was a local business that employed a lot of local craftsmen. I felt the price was reasonable and I accepted an appointment within the week with assurances that if my existing hot water tank failed they would respond sooner. The crew of two came came on the morning of my appointment, with Bryan, and started the work immediately. This was an all day project. The two gentlemen who did the installation were polite and complete professionals. I felt well informed as to what was happening with the job. My husband and I were very impressed with the overall quality of the installation both inside and out. As a result of this project we plan to have Handyside back to help us with a complete remodeling of our lower level this Spring.

Not good at all. Very disappointed. What I asked the tech to do he did not. The Tech's name was Jim. He only walked in with a small tool bag and that was it. 20 minutes, which half was telling me I had an electric forced air furnance and not a heat pump for $100 is crazy!

I have used Handyside many times in the past. If fact, they are the only ones I have EVER used. They did all of the original plumbing in my townhome and I have stuck with them ever since. I have always been very satisfied with their work. Both fans work like a charm. They keep my home cool and create a wonderful breeze throughout my home when I have the windows open. The gable fan also draws all of the hot air out of my attic and keeps my upstairs much cooler than before. The workers were communicative and pleasant to work with, as well as very courteous. They were sure to clean up everything and completed their work in a very short time. I recommend this company highly.

They did an excellent job and we are very happy with the service and professionalism of this company. The young men that did the work were very nice and very friendly. At one point I had to leave the house to go into my office and I felt very comfortable leaving them in the house to continue the job. Brian (the owner) is always available with any questions and came back after the job was complete to make sure we were happy with the service. Everytime I've called into the office the staff is always so friendly and easy to talk to. This company, from the owner , staff and service workers take great pride in providing excellent customer service to their clients. We will defintely use this company again and consider them our only GO TO for plumbing and heating service in the future. GREAT JOB, THANK YOU.

Excellent company to do business with and very honest. Arrived on time, did the work expected, and prices is very very reasonable. Will do business with them again in the future.

Quality and cost of work done was great. Excellent work.

Actual cost was WAY over estimate. The main worker was a nice enough guy but had to call his boss many times because he did not know what he was doing. I had/have another electrical issue I requested they address but it appears they were more interested in the big money job and not the smaller one. I asked several times if they would fix my light out front and the last thing said was they would be back. It's been almost 2 weeks, I don't think I will hear from them again. Given the opportunity I would not use Handyside again.

Major flood caused private men's club to have services performed. They were quick, efficient, clean, polite, respectful, quiet and adapted to changes.

I think they did a fine job. They gave us a bid, it was what we wanted, and the price was competitive. They came when they said they would and it is working fine. I will use them in the future.

They were very responsive and took the issue quickly. Would definitely use them again.

Called to say he'd be a couple of minutes late and asked if he should bring his own generator to do the work (we had no power when we made the appointment). Got right to work. Did a nice, neat job. Worked quietly and efficiently. Cleaned up his mess. Answered any questions I had about the operation of the sub-panel with patience and in layman's terms. Said he was going to go outside and finish the job and that it would take him about another 30 minutes. When he was done he gave us the bill.

All of Handysides plumbers are highly qualified plumbers and they can do any plumbing and heating job. They remain loyal to their existing customers and are readily available 24/7 should any problem occur .

My experience with Handyside Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning Company was good. They did a good job. They came right away to give me an estimate, I liked that. They got back to me in a day or two which was nice. Their price seemed reasonable. I would use them again in the future.
