Initially very responsive and patient. Once verbally agreed to a project Paul Campbell was much more difficult to reach and/or respond. His voice mail box is always full and his responses take a week or more. Paul offered a start date for the project and after discussing some changes promised to send us an updated contract to sign - he never did. With the verbally agreed start date a week way we contacted Paul to confirm. Paul informed us since we didn't sign a contract so we now have to wait another 1.5 months. We could not have singed a contract since he never sent it. Paul has taken no responsibility, offered no apology - insisting this is our fault somehow, or otherwise made an effort to make this right. He just cancelled our project after we let him know how unhappy we were with the situation and how unprofessional we thought he was. For our part, we didn't initially know hat we wanted so took us a while to figure it out. Even after that we had changes that we wanted. None of this should be a problem for the contractor before the project even starts. If they were a problem he should have told us he didn't want our business. Additionally we could have called constantly and nagged Paul to send us that updated contract, but that's not really the pattern I want with my contractor.

Paul Campbell has done work for me in the past. His work is the finest. He guarantees all his plantings for one year. I have recommended him to several of my neighbors who admired his work. I would definitely recommend him again and again.
