Tom and his crew are fantastic. Tom took a lot of time going over every little detail during the quoting process. His crew was super fast and did a great job cleaning up. Everything looks great and we could not be happier with all the work that they did. Tom is a contractor you can trust!!

Very prompt and professional service. Every step was explained in detail, complete with photos of areas that needed additional work beyond initial quote. The owner and crew were a pleasure to work with. A planter pot was damaged during the process, but was addressed immediately and replaced two-fold. I sought 6 quotes prior to accepting Tops; I was very pleased with the level of service and professionalism I received. My new roof looks spectacular and really improves my home's curb appeal exponentially. I highly recommend Tops Roofing.

Tom Corey was who I contacted. He called me back right away, arrived for the estimate on the day I was available and he was on time. The crew installed my gutters, they were professional and they were done in a short amount of time. ( They started in the morning, I came home for lunch and they were done) They cleaned up around my home. Tom called me and asked if I was pleased with the service , which I was. My neighbors who had watched them do the work, not only on my house, but my neighbors commented on how impressed they were with the quality of their work. I will use them again, and have recommended them to my friends..

There is little to say except that they did exactly what they said they would do and provided great advice, and explanations. I could not be happier with this experience.

Mr. Corey gave me a free estimate and went out of his way to go on my roof and into the attic and crawlspace. He was very professional and his price was competitive. He could not have been better. He followed up and came to my home to inspect everything and ensure the work was satisfactory. He takes pride in his work and it is important to him that the job is well done and his customers are satisfied.

I selected this contractor for one main reason. He was the only contractor out of several who thoroughly inspected the roof prior to providing a proposal. Everyone else simply measured the size and would have missed any plywood that required replacement. Work was done at the agreed upon price in a timely manner. The only issue that we had was that some of the lower grade help doing the siding tear off were a little bit craeless and I had to ask the foreman to slow them down a bit. The price was a bit above the middle of the raoad of the several quotes that I had received, but the quality of work made it worthwhile. Our siding and roofing materials have all stayed in place while newer work done on neighbor's homes has been blown off during high winds. I have since used this contractor for other work as well.

We had our existing roof replaced by Tops Roofing & Remodeling Co. They were here promptly and completed job on time. Price was little high but overall work was good.

Overall the did a great job. We did have a problem with the vent leaking but the returned and fixed it promptly with no extra charge. We also had a problem with one of the snow guards coming loose and again they were out promptly and even added two more snow guards at no cost to correct the problem. The angle of our roof and the massive amounts of snow we receive on the lake make snow guards difficult to install.

Did not proceed with work due to uncompetitive quote

The entire process from start to finish went as planned. The final result looks very neat and put together as it should be. The work- manship was very professional as were the entire crew. It's nice to see that "sloppiness" is not an acceptable behavior of "Tops Construction Inc."

Called Tops Roofing and Remodeling for a quote on our roof. An appointment was scheduled with Tom Corey,the owner, Tom was very thorough in measuring and inspecting our roof. We knew we had a ventilation problem with our roof and discussed what could be checked and corrected if needed. He spent almost two hours inspecting, discussing what we would like done and giving us a written quote that day. In all we got 3 different quotes on our roof. We went with Tops Roofing for a couple of reasons. We contacted Tops because of the reviews we read on angie's list. Secondly we felt that Tom gave us the most confidence that the job would be done correctly and to our satisfaction. The initial quote was made on 6/27/2012 and we decided to go with Tops and a formal contract was written and signed on 7/30/2012. With the work Tom had previously scheduled, he estimated that our job would be started around 9/17/2012 (dependant on weather which is very hard to predict} and take 3 days. It is worth noting that I asked Tom how many crews he had, and he said he had only one, seven man crew. He stated that when we start a job, we are there until that job is done and they don't jump between jobs in order to just please people. Also Tom did not want any downpayment even for materials and said we don't get paid until the job is done and you are completely satisfied. Our roofing job was started on 9/20/2012 and took 3 days. The crew showed up early (around 7:30 - 8:00 am) each day. They were very professional, hard working, friendly, and very efficient. They cleaned up around the house every day and left the work area as presentable as possible. Every contract detail was performed flawlessly and we could not be happier with the way our soffit, fascia and roofing job turned out. Also the container for the old roofing materials was removed the very morning after our house was completed. We would strongly recommend Tops Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof or home repair.

The crew showed up on the date & time we were told. They were very organized & went right to work & completed the the job in one day. When they finished everything was cleaned up & left with everything as it was when they arrived. Very pleased & would use them again & highly recommend them to everyone.

Tops roofing was referred to me from a local relator I know after I discovered my roof had water leaking into a bathroom area from a damaged venting pipe. This happened while my wife and I were out of town on a trip in mid February They responded quickly with an estimate and got the roof repaired in a very timely fashion despite foul weather, thus preventing more serious damage to the interior of my house. The work was done was very satisfactory and the cost came in significantly below the original estimate. I would definitely use Tops roofing for any further issues and I would higly recomend this service to any of my freinds or family.

This is the second time we hired him for a new roof install. We were very pleased with them. If call him, he calls us back and he was here when he said he would be. They also did a lot of work for my sons home. We are very happy with his services.

Called and made an appointment per my schedule. Arrived as promised, gave us honest evaluation of the work that we wanted done. Not able to do work due to the type of structure we have. Would use again if needed.

Tom, the owner, was very friendly and attentive to our wishes. He kept us informed throughout the whole process; from the initial estimate through the installation. We received lower estimates from other companies, but Tom inspired the most confidence. Even though there was going to be a wait to have the job done, we decided to go with Tops Roofing. The crew arrived as scheduled and immediately went to work. They were very professional, very friendly, hard-working and neat. They took great care to cover all deck surfaces and other areas in protection of debris. They swept up afterward and no nails were found. The Solatubes were scheduled to be installed along with the roof, but due to circumstances beyond Tops control, their installation was delayed. Tom was very apologetic and was happy to install them around our schedule. The pair of men (I'm sorry I've forgotten names) arrived later than scheduled to install them; but, as with the roof, went right to work, completing the installation in just a few hours. We were very pleased with Tops Roofing and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a roofing company. The roof and the Solatubes look awesome!

Everything went fine, better than I expected. Tom and his crew was a pleasure to do business with.

The job went well. The owner was attentive to details. The crew for TOPS and the subcontractor for the gutters were both neat, courteous, punctual, professional. In and out quickly with good clean up. No problems, no issues, very satisfied. I would not hesitate using TOPs again and would certainly recommend them to others based upon my experience with them.

Day 1:Dumpster arrived early. Work began shortly after for tearoff. Delivery of materials. Begin new roof install. Day 2: Continue roof install. Day 3: Finish roof install and cleanup. Day 4: Dumpster removed. Day 5: Pay contractor. Work was performed as was written in contract. Tom did an excellent job in not only providing a written quote but spent at least an hour with me going over all the details of the work scope with me. He adjusted his written quote as I asked with no problem. Work was performed from start to finish as promised. Workers were professional. I was impressed with the cleanup after the job was complete. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. I am very fussy and they met or exceeded my expectations. Not the cheapest but definitely the best. Need to consider a roof install cannot be shortcut, its needs to be done right the first time and I am glad I did not go with the lowest bidder. The details on a roof considering flashing valleys, chimney, garage rake to house, ice guard were done correctly. They even reinstalled the gutter screens professionally with no damage to gutters.

Roofing job went very well - the crew that came here to do the work were very friendly and kept right on working - even in the rain and blazing sun. We ran into a few issues the roofing the estimate did not include the entire main house with only to the south side to the peak of the family room - there was another side to this roof the north side. Tom did "eat this cost" as he stated he must not have made this clear. I still do not understand why "entire main house " did not include this piece of roofing....but okay. Then we discovered that when Tom gave us the estimate he did not include in the price the west side of the family room gutter, soffit and fascia. What? Again something was excluded....why would you replace gutters, soffit and Fascia all around the house except for the west portion of the family room (but do the opposite (east) side. This cost he did not eat - this was an additional $547.00 if we wanted it done - which we did. We had the roof extended which we assume was done correctly but the trim work was done with 0 (zero) chaulking or any type of seal. The edges were wrapped the wrong way and the flimsy aluminum that was used has ripples in it - we explained this dissatifaction with Tom and he said that that is the way he does things...so it was not corrected. We will need to have this corrected before fall as there are some gaps and the ripples will allow water to get it. He did correct the issue concerning the Fascia that dipped (as Tom said had a smile on it) in the middle. The two pieces were torn out and squared off and replaced with one piece of fascia - no more smile and looks were nice and neat.

I will use them in the future.

They were very efficient. They had a friendly crew. They went about doing their work in a manner that I thought indicated that they had done it many times before. They told me originally that it would take 4-6 days and they were done in 5 days so I was very pleased with that. They cleaned up and were on their way. The price was average.
