We specialize in the selection, installation, and maintenance of hearth products and fireplaces. Our Business has consistently received top honors from manufacturers and the public. Our mission is "to help clients obtain quality alternative heating products, and provide a comfortable hearth experience." Stoves and Such also offers Professional chimney services performed by our Master Hearth certified technicians and installers. We were the first Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) nationally certified chimney sweeps in the entire northwest Pennsylvanian area, and the only National Fireplace Institute (NFI) Certified Technicians in all 3 hearth disciplines-Pellet, Wood, and Gas Fuels. I have used Stoves and Such for many years now and have found the Service Repair Technician (Mark) to simply be Outstanding. He knows his job and Units he works on completely. He came out and checked my Profile 30's Control Board and knew from testing that it was the problem. He indicated to me that he saw I chose not to have the cleaning completed; after thinking about this for a short time and under no pressure from Mark I changed my mind. I know how thorough he can be and although I keep my unit really clean there are simple parts of the fans (inside) that I do not get to. He checks and cleans as he goes... removes the fans and changes gaskets, checks wires and connections, auger, pan etc. I have had my Unit since late 00' or early 01' and he has been the only Repair Tech to touch it. I have replaced two fans, had the Cleaning Bar repaired and now the Control Board at a cost of just over $1,000. Not bad for 13 years of service.
Description of Work: New Control Board for my Lennox, Profile 30., complete cleaning of Unit., testing of new Control Board.
