My husband and I purchased our future retirement home in Erie while we lived in Raleigh. We met with several contractors, however, we felt very comfortable with Skip based on the reviews. We had to choose someone whom we trusted to complete the remodel while we were in North Carolina. We met several times with him and Christine to plan the job then we went back to Raleigh. While we were away, the job was completed. It was a huge leap of faith to give our trust to Skip and his team to create our dream home. After several months and Facetime calls, the remodel was completed on schedule for Christmas!! He even had a pizza and drinks waiting for us when we arrived and the bed was made for us!! We could not be more pleased! His experienced team solved many problems of an older home with exceptional craftsmanship. It was his idea to paint the kitchen cabinets since they were only a few years old which saved us several thousand dollars. He had many suggestions while they were working on the job that prove his attention to detail is impressive. We will use him for our future bathroom remodels. Skip and his team are exceptional.

I could not be more pleased. Professional from start to finish. Excellent planning, communication, and craftmanship. His staff and his workers are all the best. Skip and his very skilled designer worked with us and designed the bathroom of our dreams. They gave us guidance when we didn't know what direction to go, they helped us choose materials and colors based on the rest of the home and tastes. I can't stress enough how professional the entire team was, especially the workers. Always punctual. They respected our home as if it was there own. The craftmanship was superb. Almost a year later now we still love to go into our new bathroom. Skip and his team know about what makes a homeowners life convenient and comfortable and they magically transform your project into reality. I will use Skip again in the future and I recommend him to others without any hesitation. Slightly on the expensive side, but well worth every penny!

Very clever and helpful details turning tiny powder room into large, handicap accessible bathroom, while NOT looking "institutional." . (We chose not to make it ADA) pretty tile, good use of space

Very professional staff. No problems whatsoever.

We knew we were in good hands when at the initial visit, Skip had great ideas/suggestions to improve the functionality of our 2 small bathrooms. The other contractors that we had give estimates just didn't seem to have the and quot;visionand quot; that Skip had. He and his team were totally professional and patient with us throughout. Since we had the two baths done consecutively, they were with us for quite awhile. All of the crew members were prompt, courteous, professional, and fun to be around. They almost became part of the family! Everyone was very attentive to detail and to keeping a clean (as possible) workspace. The only and quot;Band quot; rating was for price...however...you DO get what you pay for; Skip and his crew are the best, and we would not have anyone else in our home for remodeling projects!!

There were ups and downs, as there is with any remodel. Skip responded to our inquiry promptly and came over to the house to brainstorm and look at the area. He was very professional and made some great suggestions...some of which we incorporated into our plan. He is very creative and easy to work with. He has his own way of seeing things, but isn't too pushy with his suggestions. Once we decided on a plan, his crew was ready to work very quickly (maybe a week or two after meeting with Skip, they started demolition). His workmen (and a few women) were great. We trusted them to be in our home unsupervised. Ryan became more like a friend, and Joe was great to work with, too. They are both very meticulous and professional. If/when we changed our minds or didn't like something, they always replied, and quot;Not a problem.and quot; They also helped us out with tips and suggestions on other things we were doing around the house. I learned a great deal. Although they didn't quite finish in time, it wasn't because they didn't work hard enough. Running into other problems and finding that things don't go as smoothly as they thought it would is pretty par for the course. Also, a little bit of carelessness on one guy's part caused an additional plumbing issue. However, Skip paid for all repairs and replaced everything that was damaged. They price was steep, yes, but you get what you pay for! We couldn't be more happy with how this huge project turned out. Their attention to detail is visible in everything they did for us. We would definitely use them again.

It was an excellent experience.

I spent $3500 on that work. That went wonderful. The workers are really good and friendly. I can trust them in my house. He is very creative and has access to other creative people for his color schemes for what goes well with what and what would make my furniture stand out. His workers are excellent.
