About us

My crew consists of me and Dan. I’m very fortunate to get 10-20 calls a week and be very busy. Often I’m booked up 6-12 weeks in advance. So if you’re looking for something ASAP then most likely I can’t help but occasionally I I can get to some. So it’s best if your able to plan ahead. I perform home repairs and remodeling. My work varies from small repairs such as drywall patches, hanging doors, trim work, handrails to remodeling bathrooms, kitchens or basements. I try to keep the work I do limited to what Dan and I can do. I will sub out larger plumbing and electrical work when needed. I've got away from working on roofs. I provide free estimates when I have time to look at jobs. I don't mark up the price on materials. I'm sorry I don't take credit cards. Cash or checks are fine.

Response from Sawyer Home Repair and Remodeling
I responded that I’m busy and possibly the earliest I could to do anything would be October and most likely next year because after October it wouldn’t be prudent to stain his deck. He never responded to my reply. I don’t understand why he gave me this rating when I all did was reply to his questions.

Description of Work: Mr. Sawyer did several small jobs at home, and I do not remember the total price, but overall, he is reasonable. I left him at home doing the jobs, because I totally trust him.

Description of Work: Jim actually did two jobs for us: there was water damage to our bathroom ceiling around our ceiling fan due to a condensation problem and also to our mudroom wall and floor from a roof leak. Jim had to tear out areas damaged by water and replace with new drywall and floorboard. In addition to repairing the ceiling in the bathroom, he installed a new exhaust fan and new ductwork to our soffit to prevent the condensation problem from recurring. His finish work was great and he did a great job matching the swirl pattern in our bathroom ceiling. Both the bathroom and the mudroom look like new. You can't even tell repairs were made. Jim is dependable, reliable, and his rate was very reasonable. We will definitely use him again for any needed repairs.

He did a wonderful job. Called him in the afternoon and he came the same day to do our repair. We have used him previously to do different jobs around our home and he is GREAT. His work is great and he is extremely fair on his pricing. We will always use Sawyer Home Repair and Remodeling.

There was a leak in the pipes so he had to go buy additional supplies. It all went well . I am very pleased with the new faucet. I would definitely hire him again.

I am so pleased with his professionalism! Jim came, looked at the work requested and immediately suggested a solution that would work and yet not cost a small fortune. I hope he will be able to do more work for me in the future,

He squeezed in time for me as I have out-of-town guests coming next week--and made me happy because the bathtub now looks good. The caulk before he came looked horrible. He had to dig it all out first.

He was able to come out and finish quickly. Very nice too.

The wall was plaster over brick. Mr. Sawyer came and had the job done quickly. The heavy mirror is anchored securely, level and at the height that I specified.
