Unreliable and Unprofessional Steve did a site visit on April 12th. He mentioned at that time that he didn't have his wheel to take measurements but would stop back in a couple of days to get them and would get the proposal written up. A couple days later I sent a text with a question and he replied and said he just needed to write up the proposal. After I hadn't heard anything from him for 4 weeks I contacted him a few times and got no response. A week and half after I contacted asking about the proposal he texted that he started to write up my proposal the other night and realized he didn't have the measurements but he would stop by in the next couple of days to get them. The site visit was 6 weeks ago and he still has not sent the proposal. Don't waste your time and effort, he's not prepared and doesn't exhibit common courtesy

A number of years before, another company had installed a stop gap system that never worked to keep water out of the basement. We have a high water table and when it rained water would come in. Lakari waterproofing did an excellent job of taking care of the problem. We also priced a system that would have put an outdoor French drain in but that would have been more expensive. Lakari was clear that the only problem their system would not address was if water was seeping through the basement block (which in our case was not an issue). Our water was coming up from below the basement floor. Once the system was installed, we have not had a problem. The only thing I would have done at the outset is to run the sump pipe into a dry well or the sewer line. We initially tried running the sump line into the downspout drain system and this did not work out too well. Ultimately, I wound up extending the sump line into a dry well in the back yard.
