Electrical done quickly and satisfactory. The bathroom repairs were to take two days and the job was stretched out to 5 days. Contractor was to remove current flooring because water was leaking underneath and we were concerned about mold. The floor wasn't removed and the tile was laid over the existing floor. Finally, Joe agreed to tear out the tile floor to remove the vinyl. He did not find mold, but he did find water under the original flooring. Tile was redone. After the job was "complete" we had water leaking from the ceiling underneath through a light fixture. Joe came back to fix the problem right away. It was water leaking from the toilet not being properly reinstalled. I have pictures of the work and am withholding payment until things are completed. The walls look terrible, the floor has a hole in it by the toilet and the grout has deep gouges in it. We have only paid $600 toward the $1325 estimate. We provided the tile, grout, backerboard, nails, cement, paint. I emailed the contractor and sent him the pictures and said that we would be withholding the rest of the money until the job was completed to our satisfaction. He provided me with the cell phone number of his employee who did the work. I will call the employee to schedule another day to finish when I can work something out where I can be at home that day. I will update this site with any new news/photos.
