JE Hilbrich came the day after I called. They called first thing in the morning and were here right away so I didn't have to wait around all day for some between the hours of blah and blah. They stayed here for over 3 hours trying to diagnose the problem, were very friendly (even w my kids) and I got things done around the house while they worked. They were able to communicate what the issue was well without treating me like an idiot and they even called in another guy for a fresh brain to find the issue when they felt stalled. They resolved the matter (Hurray!) and on top of that it was only a $200 bill. I was expecting a much larger fee for how long they were here to try and find the problem. They had to track our crazy, old, not very professionally done electric lines to find where something was shorting and remove/replace it. I was very satisfied w their services. To top it off, I misplaced their bill and found it a few day post due. I called right away as well as sent a check ASAP and they were very considerate in forgiving the matter w no late fee. Their consumer service was very nice.

We weren't sure if we wanted to spend a lot of money on this because we recently moved and had all those unexpected expenses. Yet, it didn't look very nice with all those wires hanging down to an outlet. It took about 1-1/2 hours. The main guy was very professional and answered all our questions. They gave us an estimate over the phone. It was a pleasant surprise to see they charged us quite a bit less. Unless the tv falls off the wall soon, I would recommend them and use them in the future. :-)

John is a true professional - he responded quickly to my initial call which I made late Friday afternoon after we discovered problems with our in-ground swimming pool lights. He listened as I described the problem and offered to come out the next day but since that was a Saturday, I decided to wait for the next regular business day. He left me his cell phone number in case something changed. I called John back the following week and spoke to him and his office. Again, professional treatment from both! End result, John had small break in his schedule and was able to stop by to assess - after checking a few things, he decided to try replacing the switch and that solved the issue! In less than an hour - problem solved, both pool lights now in good working order! John has been in business for a long time and it shows - he knows the technical part of the job and has the customer service side down, too! He will be the first call I make for any future electrical problems!

They are good about coming out on time and assisting us quickly. They are fairly priced. I always call them any time I need electrical work done. They are reliable and prompt.

We have used Hilbrich Electric over the past 18 years of owning a home, so they have been in for us several times before on our previous home. Always excellent workmanship and professionalism, not to mention friendly workers. So no-brainer for us to use them for our new home purchase. Owner John Hilbrich promptly appears to give a thorough review/evaluation of the requested project. The quotes always seem to come in fair to market. His electricians are an efficient friendly crew that handle your job expertly and with decent speed. If there are any questions, John is always a phone-call away to answer. This last job was updating our entire new home, and the crew came in and handled it within a week's time-no small feat, considering what they had to work with and sometimes squeeze into to get the job done! There was one hiccup on the sub-panel that kept tripping the hot tub, but with one call, John had his crew back out to fix the issue and we were good to go.

We received the initial estimate within a week of our call. The estimate was very accurate and work we needed to have completed was explained in detail. The crew assigned to our job was at our home on the appointed day and exactly on time! The crew worked very professionally each day, always respecting our home as they worked. Our job was somewhat more challenging than was originally expected, so the time spent at our house was about 3 days longer that estimated, there was no additional cost for the time over-run. We are very pleased with the service we received from start to finish.

From the initial estimate meeting through the final install and cleanup, this company was very professional, and cleanly. The crew was very knowledgeable and worked together extremely well. The crew was always on time, worked hard and left all work areas cleaned up. They were very respectful of putting down drop cloths to protect existing carpets. I would heartily recommend this company to anyone who needs any type of electrical work completed.

They showed up on site, I showed them where I wanted all the outlets put. They immediately went to work and completed in about an hour.
