Chardon Kitchens

Work was performed on time in a professional manner. Kevin is excellent at returning phone calls and addressing concerns. He even followed up with me to make sure everything was satisfactory after the install.

The natural cherry cabinets are of very high quality. They have been I my kitchen for about two years and have held up very well. As I stated above Chardon did a complete kitchen design and we ended up buying from the installer. I thought their design was very well done and they were very professional.

No problems, except shelf clips were too thin causing dishes to fall. We ended up replacing them ourselves with more substantial ones. Kevin Jones was very helpful in helping us choose our design.

They did a good job and I would recommend them.

It was a fabulous experience and the outcome went beyond our expectations. Chardon Kitchens in conjunction with our builder C.J Kelly (of Harborcreek PA) gave us a fantastic kitchen for $30,000. I have to add in a critique of our builder, CJ Kelly. What a terrific man and crew. They treated our home as it was their own. Very punctual, excellent communication and the quality of work was terrific. Also kudos to his helper Brad and the painter CJ recommended- Steve Merrill. We can't wait to show off our new kitchen!

I first called Chardon Kitchens on December 1, 2012. Kevin answered the phone and I told him right away that I called Chardon because of the reviews on Angie's List. We set December 6, 2012 as the date for him to look at our kitchen and see the type of work that we wanted done. Kevin was pleasant. He listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions, and said that he could definitely help us. He said he would send one of his contractors out to determine exactly what they would be able to do. Scott, the contractor, then came out the week of December 17th. We currently have a non-working oven next to our refrigerator, with a separate range on an island. One of the major changes we wanted to make was to turn the island into free working space and to install a combined range/oven where our oven currently is. Scott said he did not think we could put the range/oven next to the refrigerator - even though the oven has been next to the refrigerator for 20 years without any problems. Scott said that he didn't want to contradict what Kevin had said (which was that the placement of the oven next to the refrigerator would be fine because they were both so heavily insulated). But, he said, he would need to talk to Kevin and that one or the other of them would get back to us. Christmas was fast approaching, and we had told Kevin that we were not in a huge hurry to have the work done. Still, we thought we would have heard from either Kevin or Scott shortly after the arrival of 2013. We did not. So I called Chardon Kitchens the afternoon of January 7, 2013. The woman who answered the phone said that Kevin was gone for the day and that he would be in late the next day, but that she would have him call me when he got in. It is now January 19, and we still have not heard a word from anyone. I believe he should have called us on his own long before now, but considering he has not bothered to return a call in two weeks, we are no longer interested in their service. We feel this service was very unprofessional. We could understand if Scott and Kevin consulted and decided they could not do the job we wanted... but they could have either offered other suggestions of what they thought WAS possible, or at least called to say that they could not help us at all.

They did a great job. The communication was great, they kept in contact with me. They all worked very well with us and it is a very nice kitchen. It is high end work, but they did a fine job.

I have been happy with them. The sales person is very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. They return phone calls. They have come home to take measurements. We have been very pleased with them. I have got some design and estimate for countertops and cabinets. They are little slow on punctuality. I would use them possibly in the future.

We are extremely happy with them. The people we are working with are just very professional and wonderful. They listen and that is huge. We went with them because their price was very, very reasonable.

It went well. Everything fit as planned and the quality's good.

Chardon did a great job. The sales consultant was prompt and willing to offer ideas. The installers did a fantastic job. The team was professional.

They were not pushy, which was great because I was in a panic mode. My house was damaged and I didn’t need somebody pressurizing me to do something that I didn’t want to do in my kitchen. They were very easy to deal with at that time. Basically, I got exactly what I wanted without any pressure. When they made suggestions, they always did so for my benefit rather than for their business. It was very nice of them to consider my situation, wherein I didn’t need a pushy sales pitch. There were few problems with certain installations, but they fixed them right away. Whenever I had to call them and ask any question, they were always very prompt about answering them.
