 + 0 moreSpoke with Bob about cleaning my gutters. Although he stated his ladders were put away for the season he would stop out that day and give me an estimate. Waited all day - never stopped - never called No way to do business!

 + -1 moreBob and his son did exactly what was asked and did excellent work. Bob's son took pride in his work. They made it easy on my providing me with a one-stop shop to have a lot of things done for me to prepare my house to be put on the market to be sold.

 + 0 moreWe paid him the first 1/2 in cash to buy the materials needed. Then we paid him the last portion the 1st of month in June. He worked for ~4 days to do the work. (1 of the days he said he was sick). 2 different boards had cracks in them. We have called him to come and fix this and he came out to look at it. He said he'd be back in a day or 2 to fix it. 5+ phone calls later and he still has not come to take care of this.
Description of Work: We hired him to put in new steps. He put in wood steps over the concrete steps. He also did some painting in the house and took out some railings.

He returned my call promptly and asked me to send him a description and photos of the work that was to be done. I did not respond. I felt that if he wanted my business he would have taken the hour of out his time to come to my business and give me an estimate in person.

Description of Work: Handyman finished off the addition upstairs in my home. The wood that goes around the room and over doors was bought by us and prepped by my husband. Handyman Bob showed up MANY hours late; he was supposed to be there in the afternoon and finally got there around 9pm. He tried to put me off another day but I had family plans and had already waited for him ALL DAY. The work took an hour. I offered to pay at the time of service, but he told me to wait until he did the rest of the work in my home. I never got a written estimate for the other work. He came several times to measure windows, but never gave me a written estimate for those ( my wood surrounding the windows got smudgy black from his fingerprints when he removed it to take an accurate measurement). He always had an excuse for why he couldn't get to me or to my project despite the numerous measurements and phone calls we exchanged. My husband ended up filling the nail holes that were left after he hung the wood. At the end of the year he sent me a ridiculous bill for the one hour's work that was done to my addition. I sent him a letter explainig what about his bill was uinacceptable. I enclosed a $75.00 check in good faith which he cashed and I have not heard from him since. He is a really nice guy to talk to, however, the experience I had was other than good.

 + -1 moreI was house hunting and needed a professional estimate as well as opinion on several houses I was interested in. Bob came out several times and gave me his honest assement of the houses and estimates on what it would cost to fix them up. He was a life saver as I was a first time homebuyer. I ended up not buying a home in the Erie area so I could not use his imporvement services but I do hiugly recommend him to anyone within his service area. His estimates were all fair decent prices and the quality of the man he has shown to be is priceless.

Description of Work: I requested an estimate for several handyman projects at a vacant, older home. One of the items on my list was gutters. He would have charged me more than a very reputable gutter company that I ended up giving the job to. Bob seemed very professional and confident. Just extremely over priced on every item on my list. For that reason, I don't think I would call him again.

 + 0 moreBob's Handyman Solutions did a great job and was very cost effective. He was very personable and the work was well done. The only reason it was so expensive was because he had to reinforce the door as well because it was cracked. We will be using him in the future as well.

 + 2 moreVery well. He brought his son and together they completed the task efficiently. He was VERY NEAT. Not one speck of dirt was left in my walkway or yard. I was very happy with the service he provided and am having him replace my windows in the near future.
Description of Work: I had this handyman come and clean my gutters. Additionally, he had to repair some leaks and add a mesh barrier to separate my gutter from my neighbor's (I live in a town house and share one gutter with my neighbor) He also gave me some very reasonable estimates for window replacement.
