Team built a great new front porch using Azek materials that included new porch posts and new lighting. We are very pleased with the entire process. It is such a great improvement to our home.

Stump's was fantastic! We had three providers out to give quotes. One showed up but never gave us a bid, the second bent our ear about his personal life for over an hour and gave us an OUTRAGEOUS on-the-spot estimate, and Stump's came on time and gave us a reasonable quote. From start to finish they were prompt and professional, and reasonably priced. The deck looks great, and the workers cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. Because our dogs go in and out on the patio under the deck, I really looked for stray staples, nails, etc., and found NOTHING. I noticed some small holes from where the old deck had been attached to the house. The workers caulked, but it didn't totally "take" in the largest hole. I called Stump's to ask about it, really just expecting that they would tell me how to fix it, but they sent someone out within a week--at no extra charge--and he fixed it in five minutes. Highly recommend!

The crew was very professional and easy to work with. Originally the plan was to save the original framing but it was to far gone to save. They were able to remove the old deck and framing and replace it with the new and complete the project in 4 or 5 days. The project started when we had scheduled and finished on time. The crew could not have been a more pleasant group of guys. They were well organized and cleaned up completely when they finished. After getting bids from at least a half dozen companies Stump's was by far the most reasonable and we could not have gotten a better finished product. The billing process was straight forward with a small down payment (~10%) and a final payment after completion for the exact agreed to price. The crew and the people in the office were responsive to all our questions and concerns and went out of their way to accommodate us.

We called Stump's Quality Decks & Porches based on excellent reviews about them in Angie's List. Their name says it all-they provided us with a new screened-in deck of the highest quality. They were very responsive to our request for a consultation about expanding our existing deck and drove 1-1/2 hours to do the consultation. They gave us details about the plan for the deck, an itemized cost sheet, and an accurate estimate of their start date. They were always prompt when arriving at our house to work on the deck and were exceptionally polite and very open to a slight modification that we decided to make at the last minute. Their price was much better than those from other companies that we contacted for an estimate, and-most important of all-they did a magnificent job. The deck is beautiful and they left our grounds immaculate. I would recommend them without any reservation to anyone looking to have similar work done.

Overall experience went well. Prompt on time, were at my house when originally stated they would be there. Cleaned up the job site when completed.

They promptly responded to my initial inquiry and continued to be responsive throughout the process. My home is attached on one side and both of us were having work done, but more work on my side. Stumps was wonderful about the back & forth process we had to go through to get to a final agreement on services, prices, etc. When all was finalized they kept me apprised on the scheduling and then showed up exactly when they said they would. The crew was very nice and respectful of me and my property - cleaning up everything behind them and even sweeping and polishing the new porch & rails before leaving. They expected to have the job done in one day and they did. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone - and will certainly call them back for any future work.

The initial response to have an estimate provided was fast. The 3-D design of the proposed changes made envisioning the work to be done easy to verify. Work was easily scheduled once permit was obtained. Company contacts were able to return calls / emails within 24 hours. Work crew was very friendly and professional and discussed / verified job to be done before work was started. The finished product was excellent and much more stable / sturdy than the original deck that was built with the home. The original deck is 10 years old. When the deck needs to be replaced I will be sure to have Stump's perform the job. I would highly recommend them as they are a very professional firm that delivers a quality end product.

They were on time when they said they would be and they explained what they were doing. They worked well with the inspector with what he wanted done. The crew was very nice and helpful. I don’t have anything negative to say about them at all so I would use Stump's Quality Decks & Porches again in the future.

We couldn't have been more pleased with Stump's, from the initial meeting to discuss design ideas to the last day of the project. The site team was always on time, worked hard to get everything finished, and were professional and courteous at all times. The office did a nice job of managing the permits and inspections, and communicated with us anytime there was a question or something we needed to provide. We are extremely happy with our new covered/screened deck. Stump's was not the cheapest company we interviewed (of 5), but we sensed immediately that they knew how to execute this type of project properly.

The Stumps team completed this project in only 5 days in spite of running into existing dry rot problems with our existing sun room. They repaired it with brend new construction and pressed on. This was a large project by any measure. The finished deck is 650 square feet in 3 tiers which is partially covered by the roof of our past sun room and includes a walkway from our driveway into the deck. Construction is top notch and the crew were professional and very courtious. We are delighted with the outcome and have received complements from our neighbors.

We got estimate for others on it and they were cheaper. They put in a lot of time to get the ramp done by the deadline. They showed up regularly, they worked hard. They were professional.

We contacted a few different contractors for an estimate. Rick contacted us promptly and we set up an appointment. He showed up on time and we explained what we wanted. He discussed options and we decided to go with PVC. Rick had samples and brochures to help us with our color and style choices. Within a couple of days we had an estimate which turned out to be the best price compared to our other estimates. We also chose Stump's due to the knowledge Rick exhibited. The crew showed up on the date promised and on time. They were friendly and professional and worked through two of the hottest days this summer. The deck was beautiful. All debris was removed and yard left as they found it. We had one minor issue that was dealt with immediately and to our satisfaction. We are completely satisfied with the work, would use them again and recommend them.

They gave me a great quote! They were 40% under the other quotes I received. They're rated really good, so I'm going with them. I was really impressed. They showed up on time, completed the job which was very professionally done, were professional, neat, and courteous. Cleaned the area after completion leaving the grounds as they were when they got here.

From start to finish, the team at Stump's was nothing but professional. Rick was responsive and listened to what we wanted and his quote and drawing reflected exactly what we discussed. Their price was about $1,500 less than the other quotes we received. We signed the quote with Stump's and we were informed that the wait time was about 6 weeks to start building. I let them know we had a Memorial Day party that we would like to have it done for and they accommodated, making it a 5 week wait. The project manager was very patient with our slightly disorganized permit office in the township we live in. Their teams were respectful and prompt. Communication between all the teams and with me was excellent. The job took 4 days from start to finish. I would highly recommend them to anyone out there. They are as good as everyone says they are and we couldn't be happier!

We chose Stumps based on the reviews as well as our face-to-face discussions with them. We are not disappointed in any way. All appointments were kept on time. The work crew was friendly and personable but not intrusive. They clearly are used to working together as there was no hesitation. They just did the work and did it quickly and well. We did find one small problem with an uneven edge and they were back, not to fix but replace, within days. We do not hesitate to recommend them for work of this kind.

He was really good and I would have used him, but I wanted something with a little more masonry than he was able to do. My sister used him and he did a great job. He was very professional and he knew a lot of what he was talking about. He wasn't pushy and he was able to add a lot of extra options on my estimate and I really liked that.

Initially, Rick from Stump's came out to give me an estimate for my deck project. He showed up on time and made sure he understood exactly what I was looking for. This particular project was complicated by the fact that some footings had to dug by hand because of their close proximity to the septic tank. I told Rick my concerns that other contractors said my deck design wasn't possible and several even insulted the design. Again, he assured me that what my wife and I wanted would be no problem. I received the estimate from him, through email, on the next day. The price almost seemed too good to be true. Of the dozen quotes I previously got, most were around the $13,000 - 14,000 range, often with inferior decking or framing. After sending in the deposit, Stump's began the project about 3 weeks later, which was right on schedule. On day one, they had the footers dug and poured. The next day a different crew came and began the framing. Knowing a little about carpentry, I could see that their work was very precise, and I could not find one instance where they tried to take a shortcut to save time or money. They ended up completing the project in a total of 4 days, and everything turned out great. I couldn't ask for anything more from this company or any of their employees. They were all attentive to my concerns and communicated quickly and respectfully and I honestly don't think that another contractor in my area could compete with them in terms of price and quality of their work. In short, it was a pleasure to do business with Stump's Quality Decks through every phase of the deck construction and if you need any deck projects done, I highly recommend that you call Stump's first.

Called this company based on there outstanding reviews and quality workmanship. Spoke with Tim explained the project that we had informed him of our location Montgomery County and would they be interested in taking a look at it. Project consisted of replacing a 2nd floor sill plate, installing new wall studs re-sheeting the area, install siding, then install landing and stair case to second floor doorway. Tim said he would discuss the project with his boss and get back to me. Thats exactly what he did spoke with him Monday returned my call Wed.and said that he could have someone look at it Friday agreed to meet at 930 am.Well at 830 phone rang man named Mike states he would like to make the estimate over the phone could I please explain the work detail to him.After explaining the project a second maybe a 3rd time to these guys Mike said to me that the drive is to far and that they were not interested. You got to be kidding.I lost an entire week with the run around. I could have cared less the cost because of there reviews. Lesson learned. So much of being a man of your word.I don't care how good your reviews are if your not a company or a man of your word your worthless!!!!!!!!

My wife had an idea for a design that was a little unusual, as it did not have a railing at the end of the deck, so that we would be able to enjoy our beautiful oak tree. They put steps at the end of the deck, instead of the railing, and it worked out beautifully. They did a great job for us. We are very happy with them. We are very satisfied with the product they built for us and we have enjoyed it for a couple summers now.

We were very pleased with their service. We had put white vinyl rails around the deck that were only a couple years old; they were able to put them back on for us. The one little trouble we had was with an outdoor rug out back, it had caused a stain. They told us what to do to take it off and it worked. This deck is very easy maintenance.

Overall, we had a very positive experience. They were very professional and accommodating, and they did quality work. I thought their price was competitive. I really think their workers are honest and hardworking, and they left me with a great impression.

I had a second story deck support leg that was leaning from the ground shifting a little. It was causing stress on the deck and our insurance company (visiting for a separate reason) recommended getting it repaired. We have a couple contractors come out , but Stumps was the most pleasant to work with. They very simply described what was wrong, what was needed to fix it, and even pointed out a couple of issues on the deck that I had missed. His quote was very reasonable and they performed the repairs in half a day. They even braced up my air conditioner unit while on site when they saw that leaning a little also. No additional charge, just super friendly service.I recommended them to my Mother-in-Law who had them completely rebuild her deck and she was very pleased with the results. I currently also have them coming back out to quote building me a new deck on the ground level.I am very pleased with Stump's and can't recommend them enough.
