+ -1 moreBe very careful using Landmark as a builder. We spent 2 months creating a home and negotiating a contract. We signed the papers and two days later they came back and told us there was an error in the price and we owed them an additional $17,000. When we tried to negotiate with them the error rose to $23,000. We mutually decided to end the contract. Another suspicious thing was as we were signing the contract our Landmark agent got a call from another buyer who wanted the lot we were purchasing. This is one of the last four lots (of 25) that had been vacant for almost 5 years. While we can't prove anything, we felt we were victims of a bait and switch and that Landmark felt we were too invested to walk away.
