Richard Marshall's Appliance

It went Badly . He said it needed two parts : fan behind the freezer on the bottom and the control panel. He said that the control panel was back ordered . I gave him $200 cash for parts . That was in October of 2020, I’ve left voice and text messages , he will not call back. I’m planning to contact the AG of PA to see if I can get the $ back for the parts .

He was in the area. Stopped by immediately after I called.

I called Richard and told him the problem that I was having with my dishwasher, also noting that my wife had recently removed the filter to clean it. He asked, "Is it a newer model?" It is. He asked, "Is it possible food might have fallen in the filter area?" It was. He asked, "Is there still water in the bottom of the tub?" There was. He suggested I Shop-Vac the water out thoroughly and restart the dishwasher, and to call him back if I continued to have problems. I did as he suggested and....WOW! No problem! The leak was CURED! I called him back to just say thank you, and he explained it's a quirk with this particular run of dishwashers, and that occasionally removing the filters trips an internal sensor that causes this challenge. I am giving him an "A" rating and will DEFINITELY use him in the future. He is clearly knowledgeable, and I really appreciated how he dealt with my situation, professionally and courteously.

Rick identified the problem, left to purchase the necessary part then returned to install it. The charges were very reasonable.

What a terrible experience. Called to schedule an appointment, said he would be available at 3:00pm and he would call me he was on his way to meet me at my house. No call no contact until 6:30pm. Called him back and reluctantly scheduled for him to come by the next day. Day 2: Showed up, troubleshot my fridge to determine it was an issue with my fan and said he would grab the part and be back the same day. Issues with scheduling and we ended up scheduling for 8am the next day. Day 3: 8am arrives, no call. 8:15-8:30am nothing. Called to check on him and he seemed surprised by my call, he said he would be out and quot;in a little whileand quot; are you kidding me? I took off work for this! I told him to not even bother coming out and he hung up on me. Cant believe this guy stays in business.

Mr. Marshall was recommends by my plumber to look at a 4 1/2 yr old not quite top of the line dishwasher with horrible noise. I made an appointment and he came to take a look and thought it would be a simple fix...not so much! It was a bad motor and I asked him to give me an estimate for a new motor compared to trashing mine and buying new. He was quick and really good. He got a new motor from a scratch/dent machine from an appliance store locally and installed it. He didn't charge me a second service call and I'm all fixed up. I would recommend Mr. Marshall any day of the week for his skills, forward thinking, and professional fairness.

Rich arrived promptly, he diagnosed the problem, and explained what we needed to do to prevent the problem from happening again. Rich also offered to install a new cooling fan that he invented to help prevent overheating in the future. He returned quickly with the needed items and installed them. Rich has been servicing our home appliances since 1992! We have continued to utilize his services ANY time we have needed ANY appliance repaired or replaced! He is prompt, polite, helpful, performs top notch repairs, and his prices cannot be beat - very reasonable!

He was outstanding. He came right out to me. He came the same day. He didn't have the parts so he came back the following morning. He was very responsive, responsible, and professional. He did an outstanding job in every respect. The price was very reasonable. He was right on time.

He didn't want to fix something that wasn't broken. He didn't bill us until he knew it was fixed.
