I found the provider on Angie's list and contacted him to install a Sunsetter awning. I called his office and spoke to a lady about what I needed and she handed the phone to him. I told him what I wanted and he sighed with disgust and stated "I hate SunSetter". "I sell a much better product which is like a Cadillac to theirs". He was very unpleasant and berated my decision to buy the sunsetter. I then expressed my apologies and started to hang up the phone but then he said he would install it for me. I described it to him and told him it was MOTORIZED. He gave me his cell phone number and asked me to text him pictures of the back of my house and deck that evening of which I did. That was the 16th. He responded by TEXT message with his price for a NON motorized model. I replied to his text asking if the price was different for a MOTORIZED model. That was the 18th. He responded on the 27th, Easter Sunday morning - 9 days later - that the price was the same and to schedule by calling his office. This man is an idiot! I have never dealt with anyone as unprofessional as he. I told him by text that I would rather spend the money and send the thing back than give him a dime. And I will never contact him again. In fact I blocked his number because he responded with some idiot response that I was texting him on his personal cell and not calling his office where he pays a secretary to answer his phone and that he only asked me for pics to be sent to his phone. BUT The idiot forgot that he started texting me FIRST by TEXTING me his estimate. I thought that was odd but went with it. Never again!

Once the deposit was made it a long month until they came and took the old Carriage awning off the front of the house. In four days they returned and installed the new awning. They came and went quietly and quickly each time. It looks excellent ... perfect fit.

We contacted GT Watts and got an immediate response. The owner came to our business soon after the initial call and took measurements and had us pick out colors and type of awning we wanted. He offered suggestions and gave us good advice on what would look good on our building. The awnings arrived quickly and were installed within days. The installers were professional and kind as well. We were surprised at how quickly the whole process went from beginning to end. After seeing the awnings on our building we decided to place an order for another awning from GT Watts to be installed at our other location.

It has a canvas feel. They store it for me and that is included in the fee. They come in September and then put it up in May. I've had it up for ten years. It has gone from one generation to the next. The new generation is much better than the older one. I don't have to be here when they come and they don't trample on the landscaping when they come. They are professional and they have done some repair work.
