Eric did a fantastic job! His price was about half the cost of the other three estimates I received. Eric showed up when he said he was going to and finished on time, too.

I hired this company to do the floor in my small (1,300 sq ft) child care center over the Christmas holiday. I was told there was a crew to do the work but instead only Eric and Laura showed up. They constantly complained about the size of the job. The floor turned out looking nice but is not the color or pattern I requested but due to having to reopen, I was not left with any choice. There were flaws or missed spots and when fixed look terrible and then they didn't show up to fix the rest. Approx. 6 months later the surface is cracking and peeling off the concrete. I literally could peel it off like latex paint in huge pieces. It took two months to even get to talk with Eric to come and look at floor. He never showed twice. On the third time he looked at the floor and emailed me a letter stating he would NOT warranty my floor. When I hired them I was to have a lifetime warranty (written on estimate), on contract it says limited 2 year but I didn't even get 6 months. We have recently filed suit against this company. Awful.

Initially, I was happy with the job. I thought it looked great and was very pleased with the results. But one year later there were some small areas that broke away and I contacted Eric and Laura to have them come back and repair the areas. (They warranted their work for 2 years and explained that if I had them come back every 2 years to apply a sealant they would continue to extend the warranty). I was well within the initial 2 year warranty period when the defect occurred and gave them ample time to respond, but they have not fixed the problem. I phoned and emailed Eric multiple times and there were a couple of times that I was told they would be out to repair my patio, but they never showed up and never called to explain why they didn't show. I would not recommend them to anyone since they do not stand behind their work. Very poor way to conduct business in my opinion. I am not a person to complain that often and if they had taken care of the problem I would have rated them very differently. If I know of anyone who is thinking of contacting these folks I would make sure they know my story. A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

Tell us the story from start to finish (3,000 character limit):It went on fine and looked good ..We spent around $1000.00 and the faux stone looked good. After the winter of 2009, we discovered that the finish was crumbling. This was February of 2009.We called the owner Eric Manderbach, and he said he'd be out to look at the work. When he came he admitted that he "probably" put it on when it was too cool and rainy. He told us he should have done a better job of scraping off the old stucco, because when the stucco fell off it took the faux finish off as well. We were told that he'd repair it.. march and April went by without any work done. We made calls weekly and were given excuses. Finally in late May he came out and "sanded the faux finish" leaving it on in some places and off in others. We told him we were not happy. He became verbally abusive. THen he came out and sandblasted the wall but never returned to apply a new coat of acrylic faux stone. We contacted the Attorney General's consumer protection division, and the better business bureau. The sent mr Manderbach a questionnaire, in which he accused me of being a druggie, because I told him that I was on medication for Rheumatoid Arthritis, and my husband of being drunk. I was not on any controlled substances and my husband was not drunk. he told this to the 2 agencies in order to discredit us. The Attorney General got Authentic Concrete Solutions to refund $100.00 of the $1000 we spent and apologized for not being able to compell Mr manderbach to give us all of our money back. At present the wall is sandblasted, and another wall is crumbling. We contacted a company that works with concrete, but they would have to sandblast the remaining faux stone off and apply another cement based product. We can't afford to have the work done. We are retired and on a fixed income. So we sit with ugly crumbling acrylic surface, because we can't afford the repairs.
