I contacted Betty Caylor for cleaning and staging services after I learned that I would be selling my home. Betty came over promptly to go through my house, take pictures and give me an estimate for both services in preparation to put it on the market. She came over to clean a day after I moved out, then came back the next day to stage the home, and I couuld not believe it was the same house! My house then went on the market 2 days later and within 24 hours we had a signed sales agreement of the full asking price! I am convinced that the house sold so quickly because of Betty's cleaning and staging. She has a keen eye for decorating and did an EXCELLENT job. Betty is excellent at what she does and is a true professional, always promptly returning my e-mails and phone calls. The money I invested for her services was worth every penny and I would highly recommend her to anyone needing these services.

They did a great job! Betty & one of her team members very thoroughly cleaned my house top-to-bottom. I am very pleased with how clean my home is. They did an excellent job. I look forward to having her clean in the future. Betty is very professional and I love that she has email. She is punctual, manages expectations well, and provides excellent service. Last fall, I worked with Betty for a color consultation on my family room & kitchen as well as my master bath. She patiently and expertly helped me select a color for my family room that incorporated the warm colors of my fireplace and also flowed nicely into my kitchen. She also helped me select a color for my master bath that complimented the colors in the master bedroom and also makes a small bathroom appear larger and brighter. I would recommend Betty to anyone looking for some professional guidance on paint colors in their home.

Overall I was happy with the way my house was being cleaned. Occassionally there would be something that was missed or not cleaned to my expectation. Often time, I would also email Betty and ask for something additional to be done. When Betty first visited my home; I shared with her that I am very particular about the way I want my house cleaned. I will happily pay the price; but I want a thorough job consistently and to my satisfaction. I shared this upfront. Betty assured me that this would not be an issue & she would work to ensure I was happy. Betty cleaned my house for over 6months. Overall I was happy. But what I really liked was the communication that we had. If I had an issue; I would email Betty and she would take care of it. Because I work from home alot; many times I would be home and if I needed to contact Betty; it would be rightr away. Her response was always timely as well. However; I must rate Betty a "F" when it comes to professionalism. She sent me an email stating that I would need to find another housekeeper because she didn't think she could make me happy. This was in response to an email I sent Betty just to let her know that if she is missing some cleaning solution; it was left on my kitchen counter. I would keep it for them until next time. I was just merely pointing this out in case they took inventory and found a bottle of solution missing. After all; it was not the first time they had left behind cleaning supplies at my home. So Betty left me without a housekeeper with no advance notice. I feel this is very unprofessional. Betty's schtick is let's communicate ,, let me know what we can do better. "my job is to make you happy". But as it turns out,,, she is not willing to do whatever it takes to keep a client happy. If you don't want feedback from your clients,,, then don't make that part of your sales pitch. I will not use Betty's company again nor will I recommend it.

I want to thank [members name] for putting this on Angie's list for others to see because she did not value our service or respect me. After meeting [members name] and hearing her complaints about her previous cleaning company, I was apprehensive about taking her as a customers but knew that my business did a thorough job and that she would be happy with all that we did. Well, this was not the case at all. Every time we went to clean, she left me notes wanting me to do something extra, i.e., vacuum under the beds (when I met to give her an estimate, I gave her a Cleaning Outline, which goes over all that we do; this was not on the list) but we did it because I wanted to make her happy just like I want to make all of my customers' happy. She then wanted us to vacuum underneath her sofa and cushions, put toilet bowl tablets in her commodes, wipe out her trash cans, and empty her trash each and every time. Again, this is something that was never talked about upfront but I continued to do these extra things to make her happy and did not charge her extra for these services. I just wanted to make her happy! Then, on top of that, I gave her decorating advice, and didn't charge her anything. It became obvious that the more I would give, the more she would take and complain. This is when I realized that I/we could not make her happy so I decided to part ways with her. I am sorry she feels I was very unprofessional but nothing could be further from the truth. It was because of my professionalism, I decided that it would be best for both of us to part ways. I have an email indicating that she was fine with my decision. She didn't ask for time to find another cleaning person or I would have cleaned her home until she found someone else. I was always willing to work with her regardless of how she treated me. However, it needs to be a two-way street.

However, I feel that a B rating in price is unjustified due to the fact that I fit you in my schedule in a week's notice, I took on the job without looking at it because it was for an occupied rental property, and I composed a letter on the current condition of the property because the place was unkept. I believe the price to value is quite fair based on all that we provided to you.

I hired Betty Sheaffer to professionally stage my townhouse after I put it on the market. I doubted the value of a staging, especially since the house already had been on the market for several months with minimal activity, but Betty assured me that with a proper staging I?d get an offer within a month. I was very skeptical of her claim, but I also was anxious to sell. Welllll, now I?m here to eat some crow... I think it was just under three weeks after the staging that I got an offer, and we came to terms within just a day of the initial offer. I?m convinced Betty?s staging work was what made the difference, and it really was a big difference. Prior to the staging the townhouse looked like an average sort of bachelor pad (unsurprising, as I?m an inveterate bachelor). Post-staging it was hard to discern that a man even lived in the place. The change really was that dramatic. Indeed, I am so impressed with her work that I?m hiring her again as an interior decorator for my new house. Her rates are excellent, she is a pathological perfectionist, and she really, really knows her stuff. She charged just **$80** for a complete home cleaning and $700 for a full staging, furniture and all. If you check around, you?ll see that those prices are extremely competitive. Betty also was a joy to work with. She was consistently cheerful, friendly, meticulous, and efficient. I recommend her unreservedly to anyone who might need an interior decorator, professional home stager, and/or cleaning service.

Betty is absolutely wonderful and does an AWESOME job. Our house is spotless after she has been here. It is so great to come home to sparkling bathrooms, clean floors, and the whole house in great shape. She helps our family run smoothly by doing the deep cleaning for us. In addition, she really goes above and beyond to take care of extras. She is as sweet as she is thorough, too!
