AIM Garage Doors

Description of Work: The workers arrived on time and were able to perform the maintenance service of our 2 car garage door. It works perfectly now. |I asked them to check the weather stripping since some water was leaking thru the bottom of door and they were able to return to my home in a few days to address the problem. I'm very happy with the work that was done & will call them again if needed.

Description of Work: When I bought my home 13 years ago, it had the original heavy paneled, double garage door. Shortly after buying the house, the door & motor had to be replaced. I chose Overhead Garage Doors to do the job. I was pleased with the well insulated garage door and both door & motor worked fine until 3 years later and I began to have problems with the door not opening. The workmen that were sent out to supposedly fix the problems could never seem to figure out what the problem was, but I was charged for their service calls. Things would work for awhile and then I would be calling the service dept. again. Later, they replaced one of the tension rods. Then a few months later after putting the garage door up, I was backing my car out of my garage & the door came crashing down on my car, causing paint damage. Once again I called them, they came out, said that this particular garage motor had phantom issues. They replaced the motor, but I decided to go with AIM Garage Doors for a new garage door (please note, that Overhead Doors did offer a new door to me, but it was 8 or 9 days after the fact). I called AIM after Overhead Doors called with their replacement offer & they told me that they would be happy to cancel the order for the new door. But, at this point, I was fed up with the customer service & poorly trained technicians of Overhead Doors. AIM put the door in promptly on a very cold December Day. They wanted to replace the motor with one of their brands, but I had already laid out enough money, so I am still with an Overhead Garage Door motor. Please note: This particular garage door had Good Housekeepings' seal of approval, but it is not well insulated with moisture building up on the windows during the winter months

Description of Work: We did not utilize the service. Upon speaking with them, for a number of reasons we discussed purchasing replacement doors rather than servicing the existing doors. I found a better price for a better product through a different provider. Please issue a refund to my account because the service was not provided and will not be provided.

Description of Work: We had a broken garage door, wouldn't go up or down-was stuck in place. They diagnosed one broken hinge and fixed it quickly then proactively changed some other hinges to prevent future issues. All done very quickly and for a very reasonable price. We were prepared to spend a lot more than we did.
