This experience was wonderful from start to finish! Starting with selecting my granite with my salesperson Alyssa from their vast inventory, to ordering, templating and installation. Everyone was extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful.

Awful, crew was terrible and Mark was a jerk. They don’t take responsibility and they lie to you. Read other reviews as well, lots of people get screwed by them when they mess up.

In March 2020, we visited Prestige showroom to look for three pieces of granite for a large shower we were building in our master bathroom: 1) the seat in the shower, 2) the piece on top of the curb, and 3) the L-shaped piece that sits on the half wall around the seat. The salesperson Alan S. brought out a sample that not only has the matching color to the wall tiles but also a very unique texture. We instantly fell in love and placed the order with Alan right away. We also took the sample with us so that we can use it to look for other items in the bathroom that will match it. When these pieces were made, they were picked up and installed by the tile contractor Prestige referred to us. After the job was completed in early July, we discovered that the three granite pieces were not the same product we ordered. It has a different color hue which does not match our shower wall and floor tiles, and most importantly, it has the regular smooth and shinning surface rather than the unusual texture we loved and ordered (We later found out the name of this surface is "Concrete Finish"). For almost two months now, we have made numerous attempts to discuss this problem with Alan who only acknowledged that something went wrong, and that he was sorry that we were not happy but could not offer a satisfactory solution to rectify the problem. We tried to call and email the owner Mark multiple times and he has not responded to our request to contact us. We waited for 15 years to renovate this master bathroom and it is a huge undertaking. We are very upset that this mistake Prestige made has ruined the look of a meticulously designed shower stall which has cost us over $30,000. Over the past 4 years, we renovated our kitchen and two guest bathrooms with Prestige and have spent close to $100,000 with Prestige on tiles and granite. We are appalled that when they made a mistake that has caused us significant heart ache and despair, they offered no customer service and that the owner has not even bothered to even talk to us for possible solutions. Yet, they are hurry to send us a bill for the wrong product! Stay away from this business. The owner of this business is only interested in make money. He offers zero customer service when things goes wrong.

Response from Prestige Marble & Granite Inc
We went to template a vanity top for [Member Name Removed] and while the templater was there the tile installer gave him measurements for a shower curb and seat. The templater was told that these pieces would be Grey Lagoon. The templater was asked to hold that part of the job for measurement verification and pricing. We emailed the template report to him to make any changes; the report listed Grey Lagoon as the selection. The tile installer made the changes to the measurements and then signed and approved the report. In addition, we sent an email to [Member Name Removed] with the material selection and pricing and she emailed us back her approval to make the pieces ASAP, and so we did. At no time were we told they were to be Grey Lagoon Concrete. We dropped the pieces off when we did the vanity install. They were inspected by the tile installer and were at the house 3 days prior to installation. Upon seeing the installed shower seat [Member Name Removed] called the tile installer claiming that it wasn’t level. The tile installer spoke with the painter who was at the home at that time and asked him to please explain to her how to read the level which was sitting on top of the shower seat. Had [Member Name Removed] indicated at that time that the finish wasn’t what she wanted the pieces could have easily been removed and replaced. Several days after the installation she contacted Prestige and told us she wanted a Concrete finish on the pieces. Because she had been a previous customer, although we had followed the instructions that had been approved via email and the signed template report, we offered to send a technician out to hone the curb and seat to give them a matte finish. She did not want that. We also offered to make her new pieces with the Concrete finish which she also denied.

We had always planned to reuse a particular piece of granite when we remodeled our kitchen - a large piece that we stored ourselves for years in our garage. When we were finally ready to remodel near the end of 2019, we agreed to contract with Prestige Marble and Granite because they agreed to cut and install our existing granite for our kitchen island, since we would also be buying our surrounding quartz countertops and tile for our backsplash new from them. They installed the quartz countertops in early March 2020 and we picked up the backsplash tile we had ordered. We paid for these materials and the quartz countertop install at that time - no small bill. (Prestige did not install the backsplash tile - our contractor did.) In mid-March, Prestige sent a representative out to template our island for the granite installation. It was at that time, that the representative got into an argument with my husband, saying that they “couldn’t” install the granite, without a seam in it. My husband (and I) were very upset by this since we’d stored such a large piece of granite intact for years. After further questioning by my husband, the representative did admit that the granite could be cut on site and installed in a single piece if the range were moved out off the way for the install. We agreed to this, and thought the issue was resolved. A couple of days later, all Pennsylvania non-essential businesses were shut down due to COVID 19 precautions. We were able to contact Prestige, and although they were shut down, they assured us that they would send us a quote for the granite work. We never received the quote, despite multiple requests for it. Once Prestige was allowed to reopen in June 2020, we tried again, but every time we called, we were told that someone would get back to us, and they never did. We finally just heard today, June 15, 2020, through our contractor, NOT PRESTIGE, that Prestige won’t install the granite for us without putting a seam in it. Needless to say, my husband and I are exceedingly upset. Not only will Prestige not complete the job that they agreed to, they didn’t even bother to return our months of phone calls themselves. We understand that companies that are just reopening after the COVID shutdown are extremely busy, but this is beyond unprofessional, and is simply unacceptable. We expect our calls to be returned, and our job to be finished.

Everything went extremely great. They were very friendly in the showroom and went out of there way for us. Price was good, workmanship was great and were always on time. Had a couple minor chips in the countertop which was to be expected as my job was large, their service department handled it right away , I was impressed. After doing such a good job on the countertops, I had them do the backsplash also. Same results, fast friendly service and excellent workmanship, plus was able to return most of what they did not use. I am now using for a bathroom vanity, I thought the job might be too small, but not at all, got the same friendly service

We have used Prestige for 5 renovation projects in the last 18 months. All were good experiences. Prestige never was the lowest price but we used them because they had done a reasonably nice job on our other projects and they are good about keeping the timeline of your project moving. They do not hold you up which was important to us. But what I found is they are not good when something goes bad. The most recent project had an issue where the stone backsplash for the bath was not cut to allow a center stack of cabinets between the sinks in the bathroom vanity. Our contractor had to leave for a short period of time and when he came back the stone was quickly installed with a one piece backsplash. The drawings and templates all showed a two piece backsplash. The tile we purchased for the same project required 4 boxes and one had a different lot number unbeknownst to us so when the tile installer played out the kitchen backsplash the tile did not match and had to come down. The sales people at the store were terrific and made sure to get the matching tile sent out ASAP and did find a matching lot number to finish the job. But the owner would not make good for the additional charges our contractor charged us for to fix these two major mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes and how we handle them actually builds a stronger bond with customers. The owner chose to adjust the charges a token amount which was an insult. I would at a minimum secure in writing some guarantee that if you run into any issues with the final installation that Prestige will do right and compensate for the additional rework that is required. It is very disappointing to not use someone you thought was a good business partner. I have no axe to grind as my project is complete and the disputed amount is minimal. I simply wish to share my experience (as I told Prestige I would). Good luck on your projects and always treat others as you would like to be treated.

The counter-top arrived mis-measured and wrong but the crew they sent out did a great job cutting it and making it fit and the end result looks great. This was quite a substantial mistake but the crew they sent to do the install was great and able to handle the situation.

Prestige is the place to go for your granite or marble, best price, best service. The templater was great, explained everything they would do, answered our questions and gave us suggestions. The installers, Dan and John, did a wonderful job, everything looks perfect, they were very helpful with our questions, great guys, and we are extremely pleased. We were also very happy with our experience with Prestige, and with all the help Jolynn gave us. This was the third granite shop we visited, and by leaps and bounds the best, glad we hired them and not one of their competitors. The selection was the best, the price the best, the sales staff so helpful, the in-home guys were great, can't say enough good things about Prestige,

We heard that Prestige was the best. They proved to us that they were. The minute I walked into the showroom to shop, 3 people were eager to help. Being overwhelmed at a kitchen remodel I admit, I was at the showroom several times trying to decide which to choose. They have a large selection of granite and tile. Every time I was in, Allen, and Wade were friendly and patient. If they were busy with other customers they would be sure to let me know they'd be with me shortly. Being in customer service myself for 45 years, I am choosy about how people treat me when I am shopping. I appreciate good customer service and I definately got that. The people who came to my home to measure were courteous, clean and on time. My granite came in on time, and was installed according to schedule. I was instructed on the care and maintance of the granite. Great job! Would definately go there again in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend Prestige Marble and Tile! They have a fabulous selection of granite and marble slabs, the best and most extensive in the area. The salesperson Allen was an absolute delight to work with. He even made arrangements for me to go to the fabrication shop to mark the area of the granite slab that would look best for my kitchen countertop. The price was very fair and the entire process, from beginning to end, was perfect. The person that came to my place to do the template was excellent and the installation crew of three were professional, polite and took extra care not to damage anything. I could not be happier with my selection of granite and the service I received from everyone at Prestige was top notch!

Mark the owner of prestige has not gotten back to me after several weeks. He does not seem to want to resolve this problem at all. He has blown me off from the beginning. He has taken our hard earned money and not completed the job to our satisfaction.
Description of Work: Messed up everything with countertops. Sink was not centered. Stove opening is not centered. Faucet and soap dispenser holes were drilled to close to sink. Theres not enough room on the underside to fasten them. Island too was set off centered one inch length and width. Owner Mark was terrible to work with. I had to call his guys for him. He never called me back when he said he would. And constantly lied to me. He made a new countertop but apparently never looked at it when it came into his shop. It had marks all over it from the manufacturer. One of his employees also ran his utility knife about 18 inches down the face of my custom cabinets. After over two months and about 1000 dollars in extra expenses cabinet repair moving cabinet to replace countertop, and plumbing expenses. This has still not been resolved. I would highly recommend NOT using prestige marble and granite.

We chose Niece's for their excellent reputation, and we are very happy we did. We did not know at the time that they farm out their stone fabrication to a company called Prestige Marble & Granite in Emmaus, PA. So the majority of this review pertains to Prestige, who completed all the work. The measurer from Prestige called to schedule our template and arrived on-time. He was very patient and answered all of our questions satisfactorily while he worked. He used pieces of luan plywood instead of lasers or measuring tape so that we could visualize the countertop and he could perfectly contour the plywood to our imperfect walls. He also used the luan to show us where the seam would be in our extra-long countertop so that we could visualize it together. Prestige is the only fabricator of the 10 or so we talked to that did not seam the countertop at the sink. He and the installer explained that it would be a weak point at a spot that needed strength if they had seamed it where EVERYONE else wants to seam it. This is the spot holding up a very heavy quartz sink -- not a good spot to have a break in the quartz! We were also concerned with the seam being very visible in such a high-traffic area (everyone uses the sink and lingers there while they wash their hands or dishes -- why look at a seam while you're there?) and we were concerned about a seam in such a wet area. The measurer and the installer agreed with our points and said that is also why Prestige seams their stone in other locations. He was also very thoughtful in his questions to us, asking if we wanted the beveled edge we had selected to end before it met our door trim/would-be tile backsplash so that it would not look like it was missing something once we installed the backsplash. He also noticed that we had small children and asked if he could round the corners on all the countertops so that they would not bump their heads on a sharp corner. We agreed to both, and we are so happy we did! When he was finished, he explained that even though there were holidays involved (New Year's), they always have the countertops fabricated in 7-10 CALENDAR days, not business days. He said they were very busy, andthat they would work holidays if they could just to get everything finished for everyone. They clearly aim to please! True to his word, 7 days after the measure, the installer called and asked to come out the next morning. Rich and his team of two other guys arrived at 10am and stayed for 2 hours, making sure we were 100% happy with our new countertops. He would have been done much sooner, but I had selected a sink that was too large for the cabinet. The sink manufacturer had said it would just barely fit if it were undermounted and would definitely fit if it were mounted above the countertops. We were set on undermounting the sink. The measurer had taken the sink with him to cut the hole for it at theirshop. We were very nervous about that, knowing that there would be little tolerance for moving it in that cabinet. Sure enough, when the countertop and sink arrived, the sink would not fit in the cabinet. However, Rich and his team cut bits of the cabinet and the sink until it fit. They then worked and worked to properly mount the sink using the manufacturer provided clips. My husband and I both remarked that any other fabricator would have told us to mount the sink above the countertop just to be done with the job. Rich and his team kept trying until the sink fit PERFECTLY under the counter and we were happy with the fit. He asked our opinion on the color of the glue used to seam the countertop, and it was also PERFECT. I would warn anyone who needs a countertop seamed that the smell of the glue is outrageously bad, and we had to keep the windows open in January just to rid the house of the smell. But we know that it would be like that no matter who was seaming our countertop. Rich showed us how to care for any stains on our countertops and validated our choice of quartz: he said it's one of the easiest to care for and the strongest to install. Quartz is his favorite, and he is clearly an expert in installing it. Then it was time to drill the hole for the faucet. I thought they would use the hole that came pre-drilled in the sink, but they declined. Rich explained that the hole would put the faucet over our dishwasher, making it impossible to install ANY faucet, especially the large one I had chosen. Instead, he and his team worked together again to find a perfect spot for the faucet that would be convenient to use every day, easiest to install given our limitations within the cabinet, and would not hit the window trim above it. When he finally drilled the hole and dropped the faucet in to check his measurements, the fit was PERFECT. However, he explained that he would like to drill it slightly larger to allow the faucet to move just a bit more so that it would never rub the window trim no matter where it swiveled. We agreed, and when I later installed the faucet, I was so thankful that he did. We also later remarked that no other installer would have taken the time to check the fit AND re-drill for our convenience even though the original hole was perfectly placed. We are THRILLED with our new countertops and HIGHLY recommend Prestige for the stone work! We'll soon need a bathroom renovation, and we'll be calling Prestige first!

I wanted to upgrade my laundry/utility room. I started the project with the idea that I would try to contain the overall cost as the space was so small and disjointed that I didn't think it possible to do much with the space. I thought that shopping at one of the big box stores for cabinetry and countertops would be the best approach as I could get the best price. I quickly decided against ordering my cabinets from the big box store and opted to buy my cabinets from Ikea's new product line. But I was enticed into buying my quartz countertop from the box store as their sale price sounded so good-- the deal even included a "free sink". I emailed the store's sales associate that I wanted to lock into the purchase (the salesman told me he preferred email communication). I never heard back from him so assumed everything was fine. When I stopped by to finalize the purchase of the countertop, the quoted price was different than what I had been quoted. Turns out the sale had ended. I had to wait an hour to speak with a manager and they eventually agreed to honor the sales price but they couldn't finalize the sale that day; I would have to come back the next day. I went back the next day and my sales guy had gone home sick but he had given another salesman my "paperwork" for me to sign. I looked at the paperwork, which was a wordy legal contract, and immediately noticed the price was higher than what I had been quoted. I asked what the difference was -- the salesman said he had no idea...i would need to come back when my salesman returned from sick leave. I left the store thinking I really had no idea when this countertop purchase would be finalized and feared my project might drag on and on as I had no commitment to when the countertop would come in. It was at that moment, as I left the big box store that it dawned on me -- why hadn't I just gone to Prestige? I drove right over to Prestige and within minutes I had a very lovely gentleman give me his undivided attention. He showed me a variety of options in quartz and Corian countertops. I told the salesman that I needed the product asap as my carpenter was ready to wrap up the project once the countertop was in. He said he would track down the product to see if they had enough in their warehouse and get back to me with a quote. He provided me with samples I could take home to check for color. First thing the next morning, I received the quote via email and confirmation the product was in-house-- they could measure the following day and install the following week. The price was just a smidge more than the big box store and the quartz product is top notch. I called and got the salesman immediately and I said let's do it. The following morning, a wonderful representative stopped by to measure the counter space. He was highly experienced in making templates for countertops so I knew the final product would be a perfect fit. And he was such a love to my dog-- he came prepared with his pockets filled with dog biscuits. Unlike the big box store, I didn't have to sign a ridiculously long contract; all i had to do was sign the quote and give them a deposit. And there were no gimmicks with price -- I was quoted a fair price and there were no surprises or delays. In fact, the counter top was installed sooner than expected to my delight. The countertop looks fabulous, the seam barely visible. What started out as a small/disjointed space looks fabulous and the Caesarstone from Prestige is the highlight of the space. It wasn't until after I had committed to buying from Prestige that I finally heard back from the big box store about the price discrepancy. Turns out the price they wanted me to pay was higher than quoted as there was an unspoken of charge to install the undermount sink. I am just thrilled that I walked away from the big box store and will never, ever even think of buying countertops from them again. Prestige is simply the best: a good price, excellent customer service, and great products. Funny thing is, I knew that all along as I had Prestige do my extensive Caesarstone countertops in my kitchen remodel four years earlier and they did a fabulous job. I just hadn't realized how competitive their pricing is and didn't realize just how far superior they are in every way. My only regret is that I didn't realize they offer Angie's List members a 5% discount! That would have made this wonderful experience even better.

When it was installed, Great!!! We followed all instructions. No one even used this walkway so that winter salt would not eat away the finish! Each year it was severely eaten away. We get the Run Around whenever we call. No One is in charge or cares to resolve the problem. Extemely Dissappointed, Extremely EXPENSIVE. WE were mislead and NOW Left With A MESS! No one calls back! In fact, where could I REPORT This INJUSTICE! WE WERE RIPPED OFF!!!

They sales team was very helpful. They allowed us to borrow a sample of granite. They worked with my schedule and did the job promptly. The person who did the template was very good. Installers were polite and did an excellent job.

This was a great experience in all respects. Since this was our first solid surface countertop we had lots of questions. The sales staff was very patient and knowledgeable with no pressure whatsoever. The most difficult part of the process from our standpoint was selecting the piece of granite that we wanted. They have a large selection of slabs in their yard...colors, patterns, and prices...but after several trips with paint swatches and a cabinet door in hand we found the exact piece that gave us the look that we wanted. At that point the rest of the process took only two weeks. They came out and made a template of the countertop area and had the granite ready to install the following week. Installation took less than a day was was accomplished in a professional manner by a courteous crew of three craftsmen. The end result was everything we had hoped it would be. I would recommend Prestige without reservation!

They are very good. They do all different types of countertop and tile. The house was about 4000 dollars for the countertop. They have a full service showroom. They have tons of granite and you can pick your slab onsite. They have sample kitchens. The staff are very helpful. They would be top marks on everything!
Description of Work: We used Prestige Marble & Granite. They do granite countertops and tile. They put a countertop in my other house two years ago.
