Was not able to meet with the estimator because he did not show up on the first appointment, forcing me to wait around all day. The second appointment, I called 20 minutes after he was supposed to be here and he was more than 20 minutes out He did not call to say he was running late.

Left 3-4 phone messages (1 with an employee, 3 on answering machine) and 2 email messages before I got anyone to call me back. I got an appointment the next day and the rep came on time and assessed damages. I was told I would receive an email estimate the next day. I was obviously eager to have my window repaired/replaced as soon as possible. Did not hear from company as promised. Again left messages. Finally received an estimate via email 1 week later. By that time, I had lined up another glass company and agreed on their price. Window has since been replaced.

Jason came to our house to discuss the options and did the measurements. Bret the owner contacted us with the estimate. On June 21, 2013 Jason and Brian came to do the install. Both were very polite, professional, and were careful not to damage anything. We were very happy with their work and would definitely use them again for future work.

A few weeks ago I used a different glass company for my glass tabletop and it turned into a total disaster! The tabletop was mis-measured, yet I was still on the hook for payment. I e-mailed Brett from Pioneer Glass and he was fantastic!! I explained the whole situation and he gave me a terrific price on a new glass tabletop for my dining room table. Within less than a week, the tabletop was installed and it looks amazing!! I would recommend Pioneer Glass to anyone. Great prices and fast, polite service! Thanks, Jim (Quakertown, PA)

I went to have the glass replaced in my front storm door because I did't care for the decorative design on the glass. When I called Brett he gave me an estimate based on the measurements I gave him. When I came with the door, Brett looked at it and let me know that the decorative feature was just a stick on --not a part of the glass. He took the door, removed the decorative feature, cleaned up the glass and charged me nothing. So with 15 minutes, I had the finished glass. His honesty was great!

We purchased a Pioneer groupon to save money and ultimately we couldn't be happier. We love our new shower doors. Pioneer was easy to work with and provided some great ideas on the design. They provided a quote quickly via email after stopping in their shop and describing what we were looking for. We agreed to the price and then they came out to measure within that week. The installer was prompt, efficient, and very polite. Ultimately - we just love the doors as they designed them. It was exactly what we were looking for.

He expressed his uncertainty about glass breakage upfront. He removed the glass from the wall, but unfortunately the glass broke. His pricing was competitive. Once other work is done, I will get Pioneer to complete the job. I have since paid the bill that I received recently.

I called Pioneer late in the day with a last minute request for next-day delivery of several different pieces of custom sized glass and mirror that I needed for early the next morning. I was pleasantly surprised that they would able to work within my timeline and well within my budget. I got there first thing the next morning and my order was complete, wrapped and ready to go. The owner secured everything in my car and I was quickly on my way. When I opened the stuff later at work, each of the pieces was exactly as I had requested (and I gave sizes over the phone, so I was nervous that they wouldn't fit properly) and worked wonderfully.

Very professional courteous serveice. Great job on the mirror. The price is slightly on the high side. The work took 3 weeks to finish, again on the longer side. But overall would recommend these people.

I called these people a week and a half ago to have a 12" x 18" pane of glass replaced in my back door. He said all his people were on vacation but that he would come to the house either that evening or the next evening. He did not come the first evening. I called him late afternoon of the second day to find out what he planned. He said that he had come to the house that morning (we were out running errands) and that he did not see any broken glass. I asked if he could fix it that day, and he said no. I really wanted it fixed before we went on our honeymoon. He would not do it. I just called him back to have it done, and he again argued with me that there was no broken glass. When I told him that there was, indeed, broken glass, he said, "Maybe you should find someone else" and hung up. I have no clue as to what his problem is, but he has no sense, whatsoever, of customer service, and he displayed to people-handling skills whatsoever with me. DO NOT EVEN CALL THIS GUY.

Excellent pre-inspection, quick install

Went very smoothly, they immedately got back to me on a price and gave me a timeline I would expect to get the shower enclosure installed I did try to get other estimates but the other glass place was unsure on how to do the job due to my shower bench design and how I wanted a total framless l. When Pioneeer came out, they showed me pictures of exactly my shower design to show me what my shower would look like and that proved they were capable of doing the job.

I contacted Bret 2 weeks or so ago to get an estimate on a single swing shower door. I told him what I wanted over the phone. He scheduled his team to come out and measure for the door. They used a laser to help them measure the door accurately. I received an estimate within a day or so. I got sick in the mean time, and they called me again to remind me that I needed to make a deposit. It was great - I gave them my cc info over the phone, and within about a week or so they had my door ready for installation. I was able to choose a time that worked for me for installation. Today Jason came out to install the door. He did a great job. The door is perfect and exactly met my requirements, but far exceeded my vision. Frameless door, with a towel bar/handle. I love it. It finishes off the shower perfectly! Thank you Pioneer for making my shower door so quickly and accurately.

With Pioneer coming right to my workplace I did not have to take time out of my day for this. The guys were great and very polite. It took no time at all. I have already recommended friends who have already made purchases as well. Pioneer dealt right with my insurance company which was a relief for me.

I've used this company multiple times and I won't use anybody else. The guys there are all professional and pleasant. The owner is very creative and helpful. This local business is top notch!!!

We had bought a 'luxury townhome' and were not happy with the plastic insert showers that came from our builder. We had previously scheduled an appointment from another company at a slightly lower price. After they were repeatedly late due to unavailable parts, we cancelled and called Pioneer Glass and Mirror. They estimated the price at $3500.00 and 3 weeks. The cost was slightly higher and it took 2 extra days but they did a great job. They scheduled an appointment for a measure, came and made all the appropriate measurements, and scheduled the installation about a week later. The quality has been great. We have used the showers for about 2 weeks and have seen no leaks or other problems with the shower. The seams look great and there is no evidence of work being done (no scratches on the tile, glass, or any unevenness in the install). The installer was quiet and went about his work every day, lightly cleaning before he left as we were still using the bathrooms. He was willing to work late on the last 2 nights to get the job done. Although there may have been some cheaper alternatives, sometimes if you want a job done right, you have to pay for it. The value and beauty the install has added to our home will most likely cover the price of installation. My wife is very happy, which is the most important part. We have used Pioneer in the past for smaller jobs (2 windshield replacements and a framed mirror) but felt that this job deserved a post. We will recommend them to our friends, family, and neighbors in the future. Thanks!

I realize companies have good days and bad days and sometimes things are out of their control even but, I've had 4 jobs done by them and the guys were always nice and professional and the work has always pleased me. I've recommended Pioneer to friends who've used them too. They have all had good experiences like me. They've earned my respect and trust and I can tell you this, whenever I need any glass work, they are the only ones that I will go to. Thank you!

The date arrived and they were due to come in the morning. They did not show up, and there was no phone call. My husband phoned their office and spoke to their secretary/receptionist. She, while he was on the phone, talked to the crew and they said they were held up on a job and would arrive in approximately two hours. That time came and went...no phone call. They did not bother to call, apologize, re-schedule - nothing. But wait - there's more! In checking our credit card statement a week later, lo and behold, there was a charge for $265.00. Services were not rendered, however, they went ahead and charged our credit card! We phoned them right away and got a run-around and they said they would definitely take care of it. Long story short - it's been two weeks and we have been chasing these guys down and STILL getting the run-around. All we want is our money back and we get stories like, "Our secretary got fired", "The boss is not in right now and when he gets in, he probably won't get to calling people back" (what?) and the last one was "Our credit card machine is broken"! We have given them enough grace period to get our money back to us, but it doesn't seem to be a high priority for them. Our next step is to call the credit card company to file a complaint and take steps to getting the charge removed. But come on, Mr. Businessman - why do you do business this way?! The math is simple: Do the work = get paid. Not visa versa...oh wait a sec....the work WASN'T done.

Pioneer G&M originally gave us one of the best estimates. However, when they came to install the panel and door, it turned out that the panel didn't fit and needed to be recut. The panel was cut according to the measurements they took two weeks prior. Recutting cost an extra $450. When the installation actually took place, they cracked 3 of our wall tiles, which had to be replaced at our expense (another $200). Then we were charged another $125 for them to reinstall the door after the tiles were fixed. Overall, we paid almost $800 more than the original estimate and the job took 2 months instead of 2 weeks. Everything looks fine now but I doubt that we'll be using Pioneer in the future.
