 + -1 moreParts showed up damaged, broken, scratched. Called Chris Peepoles to complain. He agreed to send his best worker to aid in construction. We agreed at our cost including his room and board. He worked tirelessly. He agreed that parts had to be reordered and he himself had to recut the panels to fit our dimensions that we gave to Chris. After talking to the company we had been refunded some money but the porch needed a lot of work even after the employee went home. Two windows blew out on me during a storm hitting me in the head. We replaced all of the windows in the porch for better ones at our cost. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone. We still have to paint the outside and inside of the porch. During the project Chris talked badly about his employee and said he was a slow worker but I disagree completely .
Description of Work: Designed the porch and windows, advised about design, structure on the Great Lakes. Provided a worker to drive to our location to install our porch due to company not being in our area. We were given advise on window construction and durability, able to withstand winds, understand that it was to be used as a two-three season room only. Time frame involved to custom order our porch. Date to deliver. We triple measured our dimensions ourselves since we both are skilled machinists.

 + -1 moreWe were notified of the delivery date and it was on time and efficient. There were some issues with a cracked piece during delivery, and they immediately sent a replacement. The customers are very happy with the product, and I would recommend their gazebos to anyone.
Description of Work: Supplied a premade gazebo that we installed for a hospital project.

 + 0 moreThey took 2 months longer then promised. They were shipped without the copper caps as quoted. The quality of the wood finish was poor. 2 men spent 4 hrs each filling and sanding. I complained and they said I needed to let them no within 30 days. My bad. It was winter and I did not open till 45 days or so. They finally after 3 request sent me the caps for the shutters though they were aluminum not copper. Not worth the fight - just won't recommended or use them again.

 + 0 moreTheir work was outstanding. These are fully functional shutters that open and close so they need to fit with very close tolerances. The shutters fit like a fine pair of gloves. The paint was done to perfection with no signs of runs or missed spots and the color matched perfectly. The copper caps fit correctly and came with copper nails for installation. I could not be happier with their work and the price was the best around anywhere.
Description of Work: Vixen Hill custom fabricated 15 pair of Victorian shutters. They also custom painted them to match the existing trim on the house.

Description of Work: Demolished and removed existing deck. Placed new footings per code requirements. Constructed new deck and steps. The workmanship was excellent, although one stair tread needs adjustment (scheduled to be done shortly.) My only disappointment was that our particular builder (Vixen Hill subcontracts with many) was very loud and noisy (radio noise, conversation with his apprentice), and occasional smoking.
