Laszlo Plumbing & Heating

Our laundry room floor was wet. We thought it was backed up gutters and played around with the cleaning the gutters and downspouts for a few days. The wet area on the floor continue to grow. Found out that we had two pinhole leaks in our copper water lines that ran above the laundry area. Very discreet drip in area of unfinished ceiling Called Laszlo on a Saturday morning. This was two hours before they were scheduled to close Was told that we would receive a call back once the plumber was done with their current emergency call. We received a call within the hour and our lines with the pin holes were fixed THAT DAY!! I believe we paid a fair price and the peace of mind that I feel is amazing!! The plumbers professionalism was outstanding and he took the time to explain the repair, allowing me to watch and learn! I will be scheduling additional work to replace stationary tub water lines.

They did a very professional job. The technician was very polite and personable. He was also punctual. He were also very quick and efficient. I appreciated the honesty of the company. They did not try to sell me extra services. I feel that they were very reasonable.

They called and said they would be there after 5 on Friday night, but they never showed or even called. They called on Monday without any apologies in regards to not showing up on Friday, they just said they had an emergency call after they called me on Friday to say they were on their way. So obviously if they had a phone to receive the emergency call, they had a phone to call me and say they weren't going. But I since I needed to get the work done before someone wanted to use the shower to ensure that it didn't leak on the new furnace. I rescheduled again for Tuesday evening after 5, but the plumber showed up at 3:45pm. Thank gosh I had just gotten home from work. They spent 2 and 1/2 hours replacing the drain pipe as well as the drain to the 1st floor tub. So I asked why the plumber was there if he could replace the inside guts of the 1st floor toilet since it wasn't keeping the tank full of water to flush. I even had the guts, after removing the old guts the plumber advised that the guts I had given him won't work so he used his stock of guts except for the flapper which he said he would have to order. I believe he should have checked on all the parts before removing any of the original parts because at least the toilet was usable before. Now we had to turn the water to the tank off and on until the flabber came in. Which wasn't until Friday, but of course another emergency call came in and he wasn't able to come until Saturday. So when he finally arrived without calling at 3pm he installed new flabber in less than a half hour. And then presented me with a bill for almost $379 and when I asked how come it was so much. I was advised that I was charged the emergency rate of time and half for coming on Tuesday evening and Saturday afternoon. I told him that I should have been advised of that rate before the appointment. That way I could have made an educated decision about using them. They did do excellent work but they needed to better at communicating with their perspective customers.
