I wish I could find more companies where I talk directly with the owner, negotiate the contract with them, navigate scheduling and have them directly come out to perform the job. Andy was the main contact and performer and he believes in quality. He set expectations where they need set, and he did the job where it needed done. If I had to make a complaint, it would be that I wish he performed even more services I needed, because he was so reliable with the work in his scope of performance. Cost was very fair. I highly recommend Efficient.

It went great very professional and did a wonderful job.

The work request was for R30 cellulose insulation to be installed over existing batt insulation and floor boards in the attic. Andy came out and gave us a competitive quote so we scheduled for installation about two weeks later. We interviewed 6x different companies before setting with Andy due to competitive pricing and focus on our needs. Unfortunately, some of the other companies we interviewed attempted to up-sell us on services that we did not need. The team came out on time and completed the job to specification. All areas of the attic now have an even distribution of cellulose. Additionally, they showed great attention to detail by re-arranging, evening out, and removing some of the degraded batt insulation prior to adding in the cellulose. Team also did a good job with cleaning up afterwards and leaving the work area cleaner than when they came in. For those with COVID concerns having work done during the pandemic, the team masked up before entry and wore them correctly the entire time. If I require additional insulation work in the future, I plan on hiring Andy and his team.

Andy, came to my home to do an estimate the day after I requested one. I had the estimate the next day. It was a fair estimate and we elected to have the job done. Andy and one of his people came on a Sunday morning to get the job done as soon as possible for us. They arrived when they said they would. They worked the whole time without a break to get the job done in one day. I was impressed with how professional they were, they really know their stuff. When they finished they did a complete cleanup. Best of all, our home is now warm with no drafts. Our heater has run a fraction of what it did before . I highly recommend them to anyone.

This was an excellent experience from the very beginning! Andy promptly returns all calls/texts, takes his time answering many questions, was flexible with our timing, and I never felt pressured or that I was being "sold too". Andy and his crew spent 2 days installing insulation into a 120 year old home that was a sauna in the summer and freezer in the winter. The very next day (temps were high 80s) we already notices a huge comfort difference! Lastly, when his crew finished it was almost like nobody was ever there. Everything was cleaned and swept up, and they took very special care to respect our home. I have already referred several friends to Andy, and suggest you give this company a serious consideration!

Andy was great, came when scheduled, and did a great job. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to add insulation or for new construction.

Andy was great to work with. He was prompt in his response and was able to come out and provide an estimate within a week. Not even a week later he was able to get me on the schedule for the work to be completed. Not only was he prompt, he was very careful not to leave any mess behind. I recently bought the house and knew the insulation in the attic was low, but didn’t realize just how bad it was or how big of a difference proper insulation would make. My whole house feels warmer and I’ve turned my thermostat down a few degrees. I would definitely recommend Andy and will absolutely call him for any future insulation needs.

Andy and Chris were great, they were on time, and worked quietly. Very responsive to all questions or information. Drywall also looked great. Very clean and respectful to your home.

My husband’s and my experience with Efficient Insulation was great! Andy responded quickly throughout the process and worked with us on the timing of the insulation installation (we had other home projects in progress). The men who installed the insulation knew exactly what needed to be done and showed us what they were doing at various stages. The installation was done quickly and they even cleaned up before they left. We highly recommend hiring Efficient Insulation!

These guys are awesome!! Not only was the job completed to perfection but they went way above the call of duty to help us out and make sure the job could be completed following an unexpected surgery that created a conflict in our plan. It went AMAZINGLY!! I was impressed with the amount of professionalism from start to finish. We all know the feeling when you hire someone to do a service in your home. I honestly felt like I was having a friend or family member help me with my insulation needs. The owner Andy is a super honest and professional person. He explained every single detail to me. As a single woman who owns her own home, it is very hard to make these types of decisions for home improvements and feel like the person you are hiring are on your side. I felt like Andy cared about my needs and my project as if it was his own family or friends house. Andy is the type of business owner that brings value to using small-local-businesses again. I have never felt so comfortable about having work done in my home. They left and you truly couldn't even tell they were here. They came in, protected my home, and cleaned up when they left. I will truly spread the word to anyone I know and don't know to use Andy for their insulation needs!

went well, very happy with the work, no complaints, best price of 4 competitor quotes, free estimate visit he seemed most thorough of 4 comparisons. answered all my questions. things he told me checked out and were as i found doing online research. workers were nice, cleaned up after themselves. even told me flashing on my chimney needed some work done. not much more to say. very good company to hire for attic insulation.

The owner, Andy, was in constant communication throughout the entire process. Scheduling was easy and completed at my convenience. The crew showed up on time and proceeded to get to work. No dilly dallying around. They covered furniture/floor with clean tarps and proceeded up into the attic. A few hours later they reported the work was complete. I looked around and couldn't tell they had even been there. Very nice clean-up....and I'm nitpicky about how workers leave the jobsite! I simply could not be happier. If you're in need of insulation then Efficient Insulation should be on your short list of contractors.

The work went great. As a general contractor, I’ve been extremely pleased with the work Efficient Insulation has provided on several recent projects. They work within our budgets and are able to work shifts to accommodate tight schedules and other trades. Recent projects include several VA clinics and an expansion project for BCRC in Center Township.

Andy and his staff were responsive immediately to questions and to come out for a bid. He worked with us to complete a seemless install.

Andy and his assistant were prompt, professional and proficient! Hardly any dust if any and cleaned up afterwards. I was amazed at how quickly they completed the job. From the minute they arrived until when they left was no more than 3 hours. Since the job was done the weather has been neither hot enough to run the air conditioner, nor cold enough to turn on the heat, so I can't really tell the benefit yet. I will say that before the insulation was put in you could tell a difference in temperature when you got to the top of our steps going to the 2nd floor. Now I cannot detect a difference. I'm confident we will be seeing a difference in our air conditioning and heating bills moving forward. We are quite pleased with the whole experience.

Great ! Andy came out and looked at the job. He was professional and knowledgeable. He was nt pushy and didn't try to sell me things I didn't need. He was flexible with scheduling and his crew came out and completed the job in one day. They worked morning till night. I got this work done in April last year after going through a harsh winter and ice dam issues due to poor insulation in the attic. Had to wait for the next winter to see how effective it was. Though we did not have a bad winter this year, I feel the insulation they put in helps. It probably gives about 30-40% better insulation in areas it was lacking before. Some days it feels it could be more. We have seen a decline in energy bills too. That could be a combination of insulation and smart thermostat. Overall I found this company a good match. They know what they are doing, deal fairly and do their work efficiently.

Andy was professional, efficient, accommodating and knowledgeable from start to finish. We had three estimates from companies listed on Angie's List with A grades, and Efficient Insulation stood out for a number of reasons. First, Andy was the only contractor to use a heat gun. This enabled him to pin point the problems and cut out the guess work. Second, Andy was very honest with us about how much the insulation would help and what other items we may need to address in the future, such as our HVAC system. Third, Andy was extremely clean and respectful of our home. At all times he wore shore coverings and did a thorough cleaning after the project was complete. I highly recommend Andy and his company.

This company is a real class act! From the moment I contacted them, they were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They came out and bid on the project, answering all of our questions and concerns along the way. They called prior to arrival , were prompt, and very efficient, again explaining everything about the project that we needed to know and wanted to know. They were so neat, clean and professional throughout. They deserve the highest of grades !

Working with Andy and his crew was absolutely wonderful from our first meeting until they left our house. He was responsive, friendly and fair in the pricing. They are experts! Very well. Andy is professional, prompt and efficient. I was scheduled quickly for the estimate and then Andy came back to perform the work within a week. Andy left the room cleaner than he found it. The cellulose insulation is excellent. Andy's prices are great and I recommend him to anyone that needs this service performed.

An estimator came to my home and was great about working around my crazy schedule and army of small children. He dutifully took measurements and discussed options for solving our cold areas. The estimator stated that he would be able to get me a full estimate for the work we discussed in the next couple of days. Owner had a medical issue and we were unable to complete the estimate.
