Julio and his team sanded and refinished about 2,000 sf. of 100-year-old hardwood in our home, as well as adding new flooring to match the old where we had made some changes to the structure. This included some fine detail work. They were fantastic! The crew was punctual, came with a great attitude, and did very clean work. When another contractor drilled a bunch of unnecessary holes in our floors, his crew replaced the boards with matching wood for a reasonable price and it looks good as new. Julio was good at explaining the process and keeping communication open throughout. His recommendations were good, he understood what we were going for and we are very happy with the finished result. I wish every contractor was this professional!

Julio and his team were professional, did a great job, and went above and beyond. The communication was excellent. My home had an issue with a leak (unrelated to his work) and he made sure I was aware. I would hire them again.

Julio and his team are top-notch, the entire house looks amazing, I would recommend them to anyone. One of the things I really appreciated was the in-progress communication. Every time he discovered an issue (such as sub-floor termite damage) he would face-time me to show me the issue. He also would call at key times during the project to show me (again via face time) the progress. I am very happy that I went with Julio.

They not only did an amazing job on our floors but were also professional, courteous, and treated my home as if it were theirs. I used Pro Floor Sanding for my home in Jenkintown, PA. Julio and his assistants did a phenomenal job bringing life to the old hardwood throughout my house. They also replaced a section of floor that was beyond repair and made the new wood blend in completely with the original floor. I would highly recommend this company - Julio was efficient and completed the job on the exact timeline he originally proposed, even with the section of floor that was replaced. The staining Julio and his crew did brings out a wonderful character in the wood and enriches the historical preservation of my house. A final note is Julio himself will advocate for you - he will bring things to your attention regarding your floors that you do not pick up on yourself; his goal is to ensure you are happy with your floors for years to come, and he does that better than anyone.

We were looking for a contractor that would remove wall to wall carpeting and refinish our hardwood floors. Julio stood out from other contractors during the estimate phase by being punctual, personable and informative about what the project entailed along with being price competitive. Julio and his team were very professional and communicative from start to finish, paying attention to the little details and offering recommendations that made the finished project beautiful. We have shared pictures with our friends and they are impressed. We would definitely hire Pro Floor Sanding again or recommend them for anyone that requires hardwood floor refinishing. Met with Julio on this past Sunday 5/24/20. I accepted his proposal and committed to moving forward with the hardwood floor sanding and refinishing project beginning work on 6/22/20. He was courteous, thorough and reassuring. His estimate was slightly lower than the other provider who bid for the job but he immediately committed to doing a more thorough job with no additional charge.

Julio and his team did a fantastic job repairing and refinishing the heart pine floors in our 2,800 SF, ~150 year old home. Pro Floor Sanding removed funky old carpeting, repaired damage to floors throughout, and installed and stained resawn heart pine to match floors with 150+ years of wear in the one room where a substantial amount of the original floor was missing. Julio was communicative, responsive, and flexible with our schedule through the refinishing process. He and his crew are courteous and a pleasure to speak with about their work. Julio also completed our project at a competitive price. I would highly recommend Julio to anyone in the Philadelphia area looking for a hardwood flooring contractor. Very happy with his service and we love the way our floors look.

I was so impressed with the quality of the work, and with how responsive and accommodating Julio and Vickey were. Julio was the most observant and thorough of the four contractors I asked for quotes, and handled a tight timeframe with grace and organization, even surprising me by working over the Easter holiday. He was great about keeping me updated on the work as it progressed (I live out of state and couldn't check in in person), and unfailingly responded to my many anxious questions in a timely way, and so calmly and patiently that I think he served partly as floor contractor and partly as therapist! He and his crew did a beautiful job of discreetly removing the damaged boards and integrating replacement boards in with the original flooring. The repaired floor looks far better now than it did even before it was damaged in the flood! I highly recommend Pro Floor Sanding.

Julio and his team were amazing, we are thrilled with our floors! We had Bruce oak tongue and groove wood floors installed 17 years ago and they were badly worn and scratched. Pro Floor Sanding gave us a fair price, showed up a day earlier (with a phone call to make sure this was okay) and finished the job earlier than expected. They carefully protected our kitchen cabinets, appliances, and other areas of the house from dust. At the end of the job they left our place immaculate. We think our floors look nicer now than when they were brand new! The wood grain looks beautiful, the finish is a soft satin glow, and you can't even tell where the former scratches were. We would hire Julio's Pro Floor Sanding again and will recommend them to friends.

Julio did an AMAZING job! He stained the white oak to match the red oak and it looks flawless. I didn't realize how good the floors could look until after he worked his magic. Not only do the floors look absolutely fabulous but he worked with us to finish them within our aggressive timeline for a very reasonable price. He also checked in every day to let us know the progress and when we called or texted, he was there. HIGHLY recommend and can't say enough positive about my experience.

My floors look absolutely beautiful. They actually look better than they did originally. Julio was extremely professional. He either checked in on the work being done daily personally or by phone, sometimes twice a day. If I called him or texted him he got right back to me. That is very rare these days.

Julio and his crew showed up promptly and had the floors finished a day earlier then quoted. They look excellent and would highly recommend. They also finished the tread on the stairs as well which came out beautiful. They were fast efficient and made our old floors look new again.

I had all my hardwood floors in my two-story center-hall 1949 colonial home refinished and repaired, and stained to a beautiful dark espresso color. This was a huge job, we had to do it in two stages while I was out of the country. Julio worked with me for a number of days before I left to get exactly the right stain "recipe" and he applied it to a small test room so I could make sure I was happy. While I was gone, Julio and his crew removed all the furniture and did the downstairs floors and most of the upstairs floors, saving two of the bedrooms for the next stage of the job. Their work was impeccable: the floors were banished to a lovely glow, and repair work was done so seamlessly that it was undetectable. Dust was kept to an absolute minimum, and there was no staining of my baseboards or walls. A month later I was leaving the country again and they came in and finish the remaining rooms, again masterfully. Their work was so artful that it changed and upgraded my entire home.

Julio and his team showed up everyday on time and did and excellent job. Julio made sure we were satisfied every step of the way. The Job took about two weeks and went without flaw.

Julio was the only contractor to return my call and show up for the estimate after calling several. His price was very reasonable so we hired him. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Julio is quick to respond to inquiries. He and his employees are prompt and thorough. My floors look beautiful!

We could not be happier with the results! Julio was professional and helpful from start to finish, sending us updates on the team's progress, asking questions when it came to aesthetics to make sure we liked the stain and such, and making sure that we were very involved in the whole process (which is important to a homeowner). We also changed our minds on the finish after seeing the floors sanded, and because we chose to go with a stain instead of leaving them natural, it added on a few days to the work, but Julio was very accommodating and patient. And the floors look amazing! I've never seen hardwoods so smooth, I joke that they look like laminate, but I guess laminate just looks like really nice hardwood! Anyway, I highly recommend Julio and his team, you will not be sorry if you hire them!

Julio was prompt and respectful. The job took about four days. He called me everyday with an update of what was going on. He did have to increase his original price but explained every thing that they had to do and why the extra cost. It did add an extra day to the job and I felt it was well worth it. They were very neat, clean and respectful of my house. They put plastic up so the dust from sanding did not go everywhere. The floors look great especially after being under carpet for 15 years he brought them back to life well worth it.

I got a call from Julio saying the price of wood went up and he needed to increase the price of the job by $5000.00. I think this was a bait and switch technique. He thought I would agree to this increase because we wanted the job done this summer and discussed start and end dates. Unfortunately this contractor lacks honesty and integrity. I was inconvenienced wasting my time with the estimate visit and a second visit. He would not tell me how much the price had gone up but $5000 would equate to $2 per SF increase. This put his price way above the market rate and the competitive bids. I do not recommend working with Pro Floor sanding as unprofessional and a waste of your time.

Julio and his team did a beautiful job in refinishing our floors! They were on time each day and very professional! The project cost was exactly what was estimated! The only minor issue was that it took a couple days longer than initially anticipated. We would definitely hire them again!!
