RDS PAVING & SEALCOATING

I reached an agreement with RDS to perform a straightforward seal coating in early May, 2020, at a price higher by 44% than they charged two years prior; yet, after numerous requests, they failed to schedule the job through mid-August. That's 3.5 months.

I have a 30 year old driveway that has seen better days. It’s not in my budget to have it replaced, so I wanted to find a company that would use hot tar to seal the cracks and then apply a brush-on sealer. I contacted several companies that would not do both of these procedures, and if they did, the price would almost double. I found RDS’s website and requested a quote via e-mail. They promptly got back to me and scheduled a date to come and do a free estimate. The gentleman that did the estimate was willing to hear me out on what I wanted to get done, and took it all into account. The crews that came to do the repairs explained everything, were very quick, and cleaned up after themselves. Long story short, RDS did what I wanted, when I wanted, and for a terrific price! The driveway looks just like I wanted, and it will hopefully last until I can get it replaced.

The quote was extremely quick and the service was scheduled within a few days of first contact. On the day of the service the crew arrived and got right to work. The seal coating was applied via brush and roller and was completed in about 2hrs. The crew did a great job edging and hand applying the coating near the garage and sidewalks.

Outstanding!! They answer the phone, highly responsive. When they said they'd be here at 9 am, the were here at 9 am. Experienced crew did a quality job. 100% positive experience. Highly highly highly recommend RDS.

BJ came and gave us a quote and recommendations on March 24th and recommended that we do not seal the driveway until the weather was warmer. Since this was the first time, BJ recommended a brush rather than spray application as it will last longer and make subsequest spray applications more reliable. When the work started, the guys were very careful not to spread sealant on the grass, landscaping or sidewalk. We were extremely pleased with the application and coverage. Our neighbor came over while they were working and decided to use them as well. He is also very satisfied. BJ followed up with a visit after a few weeks. We have recommended them to several other neighbors.

Driveway was torn up and replaced in one day. Still looking good as of this winter, no issues to speak of.

All of my contact and experience with RDS was very favorable. They were prompt and complete in making a site visit, giving me an accurate estimate for the work, answering all my questions, and promptly scheduling and performing the work. Everyone I interacted with was courteous, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Their price was excellent, as was the work performed. I will use them again when my driveway needs another treatment. Highly recommend.

I was impressed how quickly the crew completed my new driveway. First, they excavated the layer of stone and packed earth beneath, then graded the dirt base and cut evenly straight edges into the turf. Asphalt was poured and packed down with a roller. The end of the driveway that tapered down to meet the road was sealed. When they were finished, they roped off the entrance to the drive with fluorescent plastic tape. The work was done in about 4 hours.

Provider arrived when they said they would and did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone.

We coordinated with BJ to have the work done while we were on vacation. That way when we returned we could drive on the newly coated driveway. Not being there I was concerned with the quality of work. I didn't have to worry. The coating on the drive was just what BJ said it would be, the sides of the drive were finished beautifully, the spots on the drive that needed extra work were finished just as good. I couldn't be happier. It was well worth the price!! You can see by the quality of work this will last several years. BJ and his crew did an excellent job and I have been bragging on his work to the neighbors.

I called RDS PAVING & SEALCOATING for an estimate to spray seal my driveway. Mr. Reedy was at my house in a timely manner to measure and calculate the cost. I received the estimate through email. I called to accept the proposal and scheduled an appointment. Work was done by the end of the week and while we were on vacation. Very happy with staff and service provided! We will use them again in the future.

They did a nice job on this. BJ was thorough with an estimate and the work was done as scheduled. They were responsive to followup questions. Cost was lower than other companies and I think they do a better job.

This team is professional and exceptional when it comes to today's service providers in general. It took two days to complete the job. When I came home the first day, I marked a couple of change and they corrected them the next day without question. The quote was the middle of the road amongst 3 quotes. For what we received, I would say it was a fair quote. I also recognize they traveled over an hour to the job site. I would highly recommend this company to anyone need this service.

The crew arrived promptly on the date scheduled. They performed the required work after checking in with me. The sealcoating was performed in a prompt and efficient manner. There were no problems and departed after they taped off the area. Job well done.

When the crew arrived, the crew chief discovered a leak in my rain gutter that was causing moisture to collect in a large area near the house. He advised against sealing the driveway until the wetness could be eliminated. I took his advice, had the gutter replaced , and they returned soon after to do the job. All went smoothly, and I am happy with the job.

Went well, job looks beautiful, very neat application, no wasted motion or time once they started. The ONLY complaint I have was that after the initial sales call and estimate was done by them on May 3 and the schedule was set for the work to be done late May/early June, and after I called them and accepted their bid on May 9, I never heard from them again. I waited patiently until I finally called them June 18, whereupon they scheduled the actual work for the coming Friday, 6/21, when it was done.

I can't say enough good things about RDS. The estimator was very accommodating when it came to scheduling a visit, was exceedingly polite and helpful in describing options for the project. They even came in as the lower of two bids that I had done.d I wasn't there for the actual paving, but I understand they arrived early as promised ,and by the time I returned in the afternoon, the everything had been completed. It looked great! I'm delighted to have the project done and in particular, done well and promptly. RDS was a great and quot;findand quot; on Angie's List.

Job was done at the start of the season so waiting for the asphalt plants to start up was an issue out of the contractors control. Once the job was started the crew arrived and was friendly and efficient. They removed the old driveway and expanded the foot print without any damage to surrounding areas. The new driveway was then installed and looks great. The contractor was very helpful in prepping a trench across the driveway to allow for a pipe to be installed for a sprinkler system.
