Tim came out the same day and fixed our clogged sink drain. He came highly recommended from an neighbor and we were instantly impressed. He communicated clearly and was polite. He cleaned up when he was finished. Will hire again! You should too!

I called Tim at Orth in Mid-January describing what I needed done. He stopped over a few days later and provided me with a free estimate and explained my options and described the work that he would perform. (I already had the holes cut in the wall from prior work so all pipes were accessible) I called back in mid Feb when I was ready to schedule. We set up an appt time that Tim had to reschedule the day before do to an emergency. He called day of the service and said he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come early. I welcomed the earlier visit. He had estimated about 4 hrs for the job at $64/hr. He completed all work in 3 hrs. No issues and no problems. Very Happy.
Description of Work: galvanized steel hot water line was replaced with PVC pipes from bathroom vanity and shower to basement connections.

Payment in full was provided and after repeated rescheduling was scheduled to begin 3/22/11. The remodel was to take 5 days and we were to be without the shower one evening. Remember this is the only bathroom. The additional plumbing work was completed in a few hours on the first day. Repeated delays and no shows had the work completed in one MONTH. When the drywall work was unacceptable, the response received was paint will cover it, leaving us to sand and smooth to an acceptable finish for painting. I took a vacation day to paint, certain that Tim would get right to work once it was done. Nothing was done for a week. The ceiling drywall was only replaced at my insistence, even thought the contract states" Remove all existing drywall and install new drywall throughout entire bathroom and finish to paintable surface." The existing flooring was not removed as agreed and was tiled over, potentially voiding the tile warranty, even though the contract states"Install new ceramic tile with removal of existing finished floor." The new tub walls provided and installed did not include the features I specificly requested. When the time finally came for the tub to be resurfaced by a subcontractor, additional payment was requested from us as Tim was not available. The switch for the new fan was discussed and that the new one match the other switches in our home was requested, request was ignored. Did I mention our one and only bathroom was under construction for one month? To add insult to injury I have received another bill from the contractor. Wouldn't you think having paid over $6000, even a valid $300 bill would be written off as compensation for all the delays, shortcuts and inconvenience to us? Apparently not.
Description of Work: This company was contracted to remodel our only bathroom, including replacing the drywall and flooring, refinishing the tub, installing new tub walls and fixtures and a bath fan. Additional plumbing work for other issues made accessible by the remodel was anticipated.
