Hackman SmartRoof

We had gutter, roof, and siding issues from the work of the previous homeowner and chose Hackman to correct it because they guaranteed their work. We are pleased with the completed jobs and have not had further issues in the months since the repairs were done. We feel confident that we will not have any more leaks, drips, or water damage after seeing their solutions to our problems and the quality of their work.

I needed to have the 2 plumbing vent collars on my 2nd story roof replaced as the 'builder grade' collars started to leak. Looking on-line, I e-mailed 6 contractors who 'specialized' in roof repairs. Of those 6, only 2 responded the next day to set up an appointment. Marnie from Hackman SmartRoof schedled Kyle to stop by that afternoon. He explained the materials he would be using (ie the new boot, replace shingles, etc), told me about the 1yr warranty and gave me a price of $369. The other contractor came by a few days later and gave me a price of $700 with no warranty. They made my decision to go with Hackman SmartRoof very easy. Kyle came by the following week and worked very safely and efficiently. I couldn't be any happier with Kyle and Marnie! They made my small roof repair seem as if it was the biggest and most important job they had. When I need to replace my roof, I'm calling Hackman SmartRoof!!

It looks great and it was within budget. They were very friendly and and they finished within a day. This is the second project with Hackman and I would hire them again.

Company and staff were professional and did a very good repair for a reasonable price in a timely manner. The roof was only 10 years old so it was good to find a company that would do the repair. I will remember them when it comes time to replace later.

They were very fast...showed up at 730 and were done by 130 in the afternoon, very impressed. Did a good job cleaning up, ensured no stray nails, etc. Quoted price beat out 4 other companies in the Hershey/Lancaster area. This, along with their $500 coupon I received in the mail, sealed the deal. Definitely give them a call if you are in need of a new roof

Great! Very professional and quality installation. They showed up when they said they would and clean up was excellent. Very little evidence on the ground that the work had even been done. Very satisfied with Hackman SmartRoof for this job and for the gutter cleaning and roof inspections they also do for us.

I felt the roofer was a true craftsman, the way he constructed the cricket and the flashing was impressive. He was punctual, friendly and professional in every way. I never felt he rushed through this job. Very pleased.

The roof has stopped leaking. The work was finished in one day. I am very happy with the result. Due to the weather, we had to reschedule several times but the team at Hackman was very accommodating and the roof was fixed. The price was very reasonable.

The work was very well done. It was completed on time and each day the crew carefully cleaned up all areas. The owner was very helpful and informative. I received a detailed cost breakdown the day of the estimate and was later contacted to see if I had any questions.

We had a great experience. Clint stopped over to give us an estimate and answered all our questions. The roofers arrived the next week and replaced our roof in 1 day! The price was great, much less then we thought it would cost to replace our roof especially with such a high quality and nice looking roof.

So far we don't know if it is still leaking or not, but they said to just give them a call if it is still leaking. I am confident that it will be fine and that they will stand by their word. I am quite happy with them at the moment. They did what they said they would.

Job was professionally completed in two days. Everything was done according to specification. The only issue I had was the lead time. My deposit was paid in September and the job was not completed until November.

Kyle arrived promptly when promised and worked continuously until the job was completed. He then cleaned up and took away all of the debris. Kyle was courteous and professional. I would not hesitate in hiring Hackman SmartRoof again.

wonderful. Clint went over everything with us and the insurance quote. The quality of the replacement roof was better than the original roof which was only two years old. Only one side of the house needed replacement siding so Clint found the EXACT match! The crew cleaned up EVERYTHING and was careful of the shrubs and flowers.

Pleased with finished roof, they knew what they were doing and professionally done. They customer service was lacking. Communication with us was very poor, we had to continually ask questions and they did not give us any support about color and look of shingles. They did not return phone calls and would give excuses for not returning emails also. The person answering phones was rude and offended me. Person inspecting roof in attic used rough language after he broke water line in attic during inspection, they repaired the water line but was still uneasy around him. They cleaned up beautifully after the work was done. They crew did great on the job. The administrative staff were not very pleasing to deal with where the workers were wonderful to have working on our house. They made us feel like we were on our own thru out the process.

Setting up an estimate was a breeze, the quoted price was reasonable, and after I returned the signed contract, the work was completed quickly and without hassle. I will definitely use Hackman again if I need a roof repair. I'd recommend them to anyone that needs a roof repair.
