Erik's Clean Sweep

Erik was punctual and very professional. After he finished the job there was a very heavy rain and I noticed one of the gutters had gotten clogged. He came back and unclogged it at no extra charge.

Erik is a friendly guy. He was prompt and on time when we made an appointment. The only negative I can say is that he is really busy and that makes him difficult to contact. A piece had to be fabricated to connect my stove to my chimney and I had no idea how long it would take. It took two weeks, which might be the correct amount of time for get a piece like that fabricated. I have no idea how long it takes to fabricate such a piece. I just wish he would have told me it was going to be two weeks and hadn't left me a little in the dark. But don't get me wrong, overall Erik is very good at his job and I'm happy with the way everything turned out.

Got us in last minute while they were in the area so we didn't have to wait 3 more weeks! We're clean, friendly and did a very nice job! We're excited to use our fireplace after 2+ years of living in our house! Thanks Erik!

Erik arrived as scheduled, put trapos down to protect the carpets, removed the chimney cap and removed the grateful. He thoroughly cleaned the chimney. He even suggested next time I could wait an additional year between cleanings.

Two workers showed up on time. They cleaned and inspected the chimney from inside the house and from up on the roof. The work was done quickly and effeciently. We were very pleased.

They were very professional and spend a great deal of time cleaning my pellet stove. I do not think they had a lot of experience with pellet stoves but they did a nice job. I gave them a B for quality only because I have been experiencing trouble with the stove and although I think it is a problem linked directly to the stove, they may indeed, in their inexperience have jostled something.

After work was finished, had a consultation about our chimneys and their health. Erik also checked out our crown and examined carefully. He measured for a chim cap and we will be having him come back out for purchase and install. No doubt in my mind that not only did we get the best price, but also the best service. I called Erik and he immediately answered my call. I call on a Thursday and was able to schedule cleaning and inspection of two chimneys for the following Sunday (Very quick scheduling despite being the start of the winter season). Erik arrived on time with an assistant. Both of them were very professional and considerate of our two year old's nap schedule. They laid runners down to protect the carpet and moved furniture as needed. They even placed pads on their ladders to protect our gutters from damage. They finished cleaning and inspection of both chimneys in about an hour and a half. Very efficient crew and I had confidence in their work. I paid the exact price I was quoted. I will not hesitate to use Erik's Clean Sweep next year.

They made a thorough inspection inside and out and made us feel very confident in going forward with using our fireplace. (We recently bought this home). We will use Erik again in a few years when it's time for another inspection.

Erik and Mike did a great job. After getting no answer to a request for quote from three other companies, Erik called the next day after I completed the form on his website. He gave me an approximate quote over the phone and when I mentioned the height of my chimney and roof he indicated that there might be an additional amount. Erik called a few days later as he was in the area and wanted to look at the height of the roof and chimney. They arrived on a Saturday morning (11 a.m.) and started work. They were both courteous and professional and did a great job covering the hearth and making sure things were kept tidy. It was a great experience with Erik's Clean Sweep. I am so happy to have gotten someone to come to the house and install a chimney cap to reduce any further potential birds, rain etc in the chimney. Especially as tall as the chimney is on the property. Great job guys!

Erik did a great job cleaning our chimney. He arrived on time and was extremely careful about keeping the family room clean and free from chimney dust. The damper was missing a part and he told me exactly what I needed. He even made a picture of the part which I was able to order off the internet. I would definitely recommend his services.
