Description of Work: Bought a tankless water heater with install in Oct 2015. Advertising made it sound like Scott would be on the job but two young guys showed up. Although they were nice kids, I questioned there confidence and ability to properly install this unit based on the fact that the lead plumber said it was the first time installing a tankless on his own. After the install was completed they left and I noticed a significant leak which I had to have them come right back out to fix. They said the temperature may be too high so they turned it down which slowed the dripping and ultimately said I may need an expansion tank. I called Scott about an expansion tank and didn't hear back for a few weeks. I messaged him again and he said he thought I no longer wanted it since I never called him back (he said he would get back to me regarding parts availability). So he said he would look into it again and another week or two went by without hearing back so I sent him another message. At this point, he said he contacted the manufacturer who said I did not need an expansion tank. At this point Scott said maybe I needed a new pressure relief valve and possibly a new pressure regulator. Keep in mind they were supposed to check the pressure on the initial visit but I was told they didn't have the tester on them. So I schedule an appt for 9:00 the next day. By 11:30 I havent heard anything so I reach out to Scott and find out they had an "emergency call" and that I am next on the schedule which is still at least 90 more minutes. Given the lack of contact I told Scott I was no longer interested and had my former plumber (who didn't work on tankless heaters) come out and do the work (new pressure regulator) for the same price that was quoted by Scott Boyd. However, for that same price, my guy installed two completely brand new lines where I had a minor leak.

+ 0 moreDiscovered the leak underneath the kitchen sink on a Sunday morning. Looked up plumbers in my area and found Scott Boyd. He answered the phone almost immediately and advised that he was going to dispatch the call. I soon received another call from someone on Scott's staff, who was at my house within the hour. I also showed him water in the basement, which I thought might be related to the kitchen leak, turns out the hot water heater burst (sort of). Given it was Sunday, so he gave me a couple of options to get it fixed either the same day or on Monday, I chose Monday. Two others came out on Monday morning, removed the hot water heater and replaced with a new one. I also needed an expansion tank, the guys demonstrated how it wasn't working, I wasn't surprised because the person who came out on Sunday also warned me that I'd probably need to replace it. They also checked underneath the sink to make sure the leak didn't start up again. Very efficient and professional team, received a discount for the Sunday visit for using them to replace the hot water heater. It's never fun when you have leaks and no hot water, but the responsiveness of Scott's team eased the inconvenience for me.

+ 1 moreExcellent work- Scott and all his employees are beyond professional. He was the only part of our remodeling experience that went smoothly. They showed up on time, were very neat, got the job done. We had many issues with our general contractor. when we were ready for the final plumbing the general contractor told us he called Scott and scheduled the hookups. I found out that he never called Scott. I called myself and explained the situation and Scott was able to send someone out asap and get us water back after 4 months without. I would recommend them to anyone. He's a great example of how a business should be run, actually he went above and beyond what a great business should do.
Description of Work: plumbing rough in for a kitchen addition, new sewage line out to street, waterline out to the detached garage.
