We were having issues with our house being hot. Had a local company come and check our a/c only to find that it was ok. We contacted Ron Zubasic, who recommendations that we need more air flow in attic. A week later Ron had vents in and our house is now actually cooler than ever. I appreciate the fact that Ron Zubasic instead of pushing us into a new roof and insulation actually suggested the vents, Ron saved us alot of money.

Work was done at my mother's house. He was rude and very unprofessional. He quoted her a 2 week job which turned into over 6 weeks. Instead of working on my mother's house he sent workers to work at his personal cabin. You would think that a paying customer would be put first. He left old siding in the yard so we disposed of it then got mad because we did. Did not give my mother the complete senior discount of 10 percent . Did not put the ceiling fan back up. Baseboards look like crap did not mitre corners and baseboard is missing in places. He actually asked my mother for more money because he did not know that brown windows and doors were more than white. Ok how long have you been in business. Would not recommend this contractor to anyone. Big rip off. He should be ashamed and embarassed

I wrote the several letters to request the information that he agreed and never received any information per my request. On April 26 of 2011, I wrote a letter (see attachment) to you requesting the receipt of $430.00 for your services (inspecting my roof and fixing the leak between the chimney and the roof on March 21, 2011) and the brief report/statement about your inspection the roof. At 1:10 pm of May 3, 2011, I received a phone call from you and, during the phone conversation, you promised that you will send out the information that I have requested. Two months after the letter sent and the phone conversation, I am still patiently waiting for the receipt and inspection statement. I understand you are very busy, especially during the summer time, and probably forget to send them out to me. Please send the receipt and inspection statement to me asap so that I can show your service to the future owner. I thank you in advance for you taking time to response my request.

Description of Work: Put off bringing contract, never did get one. Put all our belongings outside on patio saying they would be covered with a tarp and we questioned several times and NEVER a tarp was put on because of this some of our belongings were ruined.Promised it would take 2 weeks , it took 7.Was told he could build anything better than we could buy. He did not build anything and what he did put in was inferior. Paid for a storm door and had to wait an additional 2 months to get it. We found that he tells you one thing and does another. They messed up our plumbing.Honestly, we would not recommend him to anyone.

I was told this was for a free estimate. He knew how much I was getting from my insurance company, so he wanted to bill me for this. Since I was going to court, he tried to get as much money from me as possible.
Description of Work: He was coming out to look at the previous mess up from another contractor witha water leak.

The workers arrived and I actually went on the roof to see where they were going to do the repairs. It's a good thing I went up there because they were not going to repair the area where it was needed the most. There was an area along the edge of the roof that had not been sealed with the proper adhesive and hadn't been secured with a metal strip to make it even more secure. I think the $ charged was not a fair price for what they did but I didn't have time to shop around. If you have the time shop around for multiple quotes!
Description of Work: I had a leak due to faulty installation of a rolled rubber roof. The flashing was poorly installed and the roofing material wasn't secured alson the edge of the roof.

We called them to check our roof from an ad that was in the Pennysaver. Ron Zubasic got up on the roof and took pictures of it. He came down and showed them to us and said that we needed a new roof. In fact they put our old roof on 30 years ago!! They started the work on a Tuesday, it rained on Wednesday and they completed our project by Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Their workers are excellent. In fact George Zubasic came and worked with Ron to finish the job. We got new shingles, gutter, downspouts, screen in the gutters, and they trimmed the peak of our house with green that matches our roof, shutters and front door. Our house is the smartest looking house on the block. I would recommend them to everyone.
Description of Work: Mr. Zubasic and company did a tremendous job installing a roof, gutters, downspouts and gutter guards. Their work ethic is impeccable. They pay strict attention to detail, use first class materials, and clean your entire property everyday they are there. They explain everything in detail, including your warranty and what they did. Their ability to communicate with the customer, friendship and accountability are traits that separate them from the rest. You can't go wrong by using Zubasic Home Improvements.

Overall, good experience with a nice looking roof. I would recommend as Ronald the owner himself comes and works on the roofs himself and is a very nice guy who does a good job.
Description of Work: I was putting in ceiling fans and doing electrical in my attic when I noticed water spots around the roofing nails where they were coming in through the wood sheathing. Sure enough, after an inspection of my roof, the shingles were missing a good amount of granules and were not in good condition. With winter fast approaching, I did not want to risk melting snow potentially causing more damage to the wood (plus more $$$) for the next 3 months. I spoke with my father and he recommended Ronald Zubasic. He had his roof done a few years earlier and even recommended it to my Uncle whom had his roof done by Ronald as well. He said that Ronald was the cheapest and did a good job. I called Ronald and he came out the same day to give me an estimate of work. He gave me two quotes, one with the standard Owens Corning Oakridge shingles and one with the more expensive Duration line. As of Jan 2011, Owens Corning made all of their shingles limited lifetime warranty, so I was happy to know that even in my old age, if there was a defect, I could at least get some money back. He also offers a 10 year warranty on labor. We originally tentatively scheduled for a Friday, but with weather Ronald was delayed as he had another job he had to finish before mine. I, however, did not know this and scheduled off work so I could oversee things when the project first started. I tried calling on Friday thinking that we were still on only to get a call back that afternoon that he would start the following Monday. I was a little annoyed that he was hard to reach and I took off work for nothing, but it could have been my fault as well. Of course you can’t put on a roof if it rains, but a call would have been nice. Ronald was set to start on Monday and I decided to take that day off so again, I could oversee the start of the project. I called Sunday asking for confirmation, however, could not reach him. The last thing I wanted to do was to take off work again and him not show up. So I took off anyway and got a call 6:30 AM Monday that he was set to come out. Again, he did mention he would start Monday, but a confirmation to make me feel confident in calling off work would have been nice. He arrived Monday and mentioned that my gutter seams on the downspouts are broken and we ended up getting all new gutters and downspouts as well for roughly a 1250 sq house for $6,400. He also included a ridge vent which was nice because our house didn’t have one. He had a crew of about 4-5 guys and they worked fast. He got about half done (the daylight was short and rain was pending) and finished up a few days later when the rain cleared. I inspected the roof and cannot complain. His crew cleaned up well, less a cigarette butt or two and a potentially accident waiting to happen screw in the driveway. I walked the roof and it looks like it will hold for the winter. The gutters are way better than my old ones with the hammer in spikes. He was the only quote I got as most roofers wait until spring so I cannot comment on price, though I know through my own family that they are price and value conscious so I trust that it was fair.
