Mr. Guffey is an exceptional business man. When he says a project is going to happen, it happens with excellence. Bob and his crew do not cut corners and make sure that you are pleased with their work. The communication was amazing through the entire process of getting sidewalks and a patio for our familys cabin. They poured exposed aggregate which gave our cabin a rustic, woodsy vibe. Anyone looking for exposed aggregate work done, R.C. Guffey Construction is the way to go! I will absolutely be calling them again.

Bob and his crew are the best, from start to finish from removing asphalt to delicate finish work these men know how to do it and do it well. In a world of fly by night contractors doing a poor job bob is a gem. He cares and does fantastic work at a fair price, canâ t go wrong. Highly recommended him and his crew!!

Listen, if you get other contractors to do your concrete work you will be wasting your money, Bob and his crew we the best, highly knowledgeable and professional and I will be using them for my concrete driveway in the future, simply the best!!

Bob is very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions we had. His crew was hard working and professional. They poured our driveway, patio, front steps and walkway. Not only are we happy with the craftsmanship, but we have received quite a few compliments about the overall quality of the work from our neighbors.

We had a driveway and sidewalk poured in 2018 and just had them pour a patio and more sidewalk this week. They take pride in their work and it shows. Perfection! Mr. Guffey and his team put in concrete steps/walkway and built a paving stone retaining wall for us. They brought a wealth of experience along with their dedication to do the job right and in a timely fashion. There was no wasted time on the job; everyone was fully engaged in providing an outstanding finished product. We got exactly what we wanted and Mr. Guffey kept us fully informed about the progress of the job throughout. Great communication and very professional outcome. We couldn't be more pleased!

Mr Guffey do not know how to build a retaining wall with Versa Lok block. First off he wanted $25,000 in cash, no checks but we had him sign receipts. Our wall is an example of his work. We have pieced and upside down block in the corners because he did not start the wall from the corners (as manufacture instruction require) I ask for rounded corners, he said straight corners are stronger(wrong) he said he does not glue corners (wrong) He says he builds straight up walls (wrong) He said the block does not have holes all the way through them (wrong).The blocks were pinned in various block holes. (Wrong) The blocks were not then pulled forward causing different depth spaces while being rebuilt but they would not listen. I pulled there straight wall apart with my bare hands and ask them to build according to instructions of manufacture and they did some not all. We ask for corrugated pipe for drainage and his son doing the work did for us but Mr Guffey said that was not necessary. Him and his crew or much better at concrete than a wall. If you hire them to build a Versa Lok wall you will b in trouble. No one read the instruction manual but me.

Mr Guffey built a wall and poured a patio and driveway at our home. He requested cash payment for this job. The wall is substandard. Many of the block were installed upside down. The caps are extremely inconsistent. At the end of the wall the block sticks out and the cap does not cover it. Areas on both sides of the garage door were unfinished. The walkway to the porch covered too much of the step, resulting in a tripping hazard.We asked for several issues to be corrected. Mr. Guffey made excuses for all but one small issue. I would not recommend him.

Excellent work on driveway replacement and retaining wall replacement in front and new retaining wall in back. Quality unsurpassed in our neighborhood.So much so that ours is the first of soon to be many in this area.Many have stopped by and positively commented on what I feel is a transformation with great curb appeal. Our home value has increased at least 30%,not that I would ever leave it now!

Overall finish quality poor - many areas crumbling. Installed June 2016 - 3 pads cracked by Nov 2016. Took 11 months of continuous calling to get them to replace. Finish work was poor, almost on purpose. Now, Jan 2018 a 4th pad has cracked and other pads look to be rising. We would never recommend this contractor.

UPDATED 4/16/18* Comment: Driveway at my home looks very nice. I had two issues after completion of driveway. One was the garage door was splashed with concrete while pouring the driveway. Rather than cleaning the door with chemicals that may have damaged the driveway Mr Guffey replaced the door with a new door. The other issue was not receiving an invoice for the new driveway. I now have an invoice for the driveway for my records. I also had a problem with someone driving over one corner of the driveway after it being installed. The corner cracked off from the lower section and I called Mr. Guffey about it. He looked at the broken corner and informed me that he could repair the cracked corner. He came over when the temperature was warmer and repaired the crack. Driveway looks very good. Thanks Mr. Guffey! **************The driveway looks really nice but there is problems he splashed cement on the garage door and he never came back to clean it . He never provided a invoice.

i was very pleased with the work they did. we are very satisfied with the job they did on replacing our driveway. we would highly recommend them.

we needed our driveway fixed so that we could get our car in and out of the garage, very informative about how to fix it and we no longer have any problems or worries about hitting the bottom of the car. We would recommend them to anyone and the crew was very professional and had a great disposition.

Bob explained what material he was using. Which help us make our decision. Bob and his crew very friendly and professional. When Bob saw that our ordinal idea for our driveway was not going to work well he made changes to improve it, This he did not charge us for. He also gave us topsoil so we could fill in around the driveway. We had an old septic tank that needed filled which he did, We have another project which we will be asking Bob and his crew to complete. If you have a concrete project Bob is your man !

Very professional. Always arrived at exact time they said they would be here. No cussing hard working crew. Always explained everything they did and even told me a problem I had with my septic tank and how it could be fixed. I let them replace the crushed lines for me and the work they did was fantastic
