I purchased the Big Deal because we seriously need a french drain installed. However, we were unable to schedule the preliminary visit at an early enough date to meet our needs.

Mike arrived on time. He was very personable. He was very knowledgeable. The only complaint I have is that I basically paid him to come out, walk around my property, and recommend work we needed done, all of which I was already aware of. This amounted to me paying him to come out and give me an estimate. Don't companies do free estimates any more? If I were going to do any of this work I would gladly call Mike to come out and do a current estimate.

The experience from beginning to end went incredibly well. He kept in constant contact with us and was responsive to our questions. There was a minor delay but it was no fault of theirs, we had several days of rain in the area. The job took less than a day and the final product looked great. We were unable to be present during the project but the manager on-site kept in constant contact via picture/text messaging because I was unable to answer phone calls. They even spread mushroom manure on the grass near the wall so I didn't have a dead patch as a result of the work. I don't know if that is common place or not, but we appreciated it. All in all, it was a great experience and I will be keeping their contact information for future projects.

He was punctual and on time for the appointment. He was professional and provided a quote for the work in a reasonable time. They responded quickly to my calls to get something scheduled. I did not end up using them for the project since the over all cost was more than I had anticipated.

Both Darlene, the office manager and Mr. Isbir were extremely courteous and professional. They called and emailed back promptly. Mr Isbir called right on time for our phone consultation. We decided to not pursue this company further because of the high price tag.

Mike is one of the most professional contractors I have met. His follow through is superb. He shows up when he says he will. He keeps in contact with you, updating you along the way. His crews are professional, courteous. There was some damage to an outside hose connection by one of his guys. When I brought it to Mike's attention, he sent out a plumber to fix, no issues. We will definitely use their services again!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service. They had good ideas, but I never got back to them because I was just trying to get an idea of what to do. He gave me his business card and we discussed if I decided to use his service I would just call him. He was very prompt, polite, professional and very informative. It went very well I thought. They were very helpful.

We are very pleased with the work done. Mike Isbir met with us on three separate occasions for at least an hour each time to discuss and plan the work. He made sure he understood exactly what we needed before his crew ever came. Because of this, we had a clear understanding of what would happen during the week of the actual project. When his crew came, they were professional and efficient. A few months after this job, when we needed a window well installed, we had no questions about calling them again. We highly recommend Isbir construction.

It went fine. He gave us a pretty good idea of what would make the house look better. He did not charge us for any extra services. There is a chance we may use their services in the future.

.Mike came to my house and looked at an area of the landscape that I am concerned with. He quickly arrived at a solution to my problem. He diagrammed how I could do the work and accomplish my goals. We then walked the rest of the property and he provided me with his expert opinions and recommendations for quality business that I could use to do other projects. Mike was punctual and professional. The woman that I spoke to when scheduling the appointment was friendly and efficient. Mike provided me with a quote for furnishing and installing the plants and was very understanding when I explained that my 2 college aged kids would be a more economical solution for my particular situation! He visited Friday afternoon and the quote was emailed to me Monday morning. I will call Mike again in the future.

He is punctual. My overall experience with him was good. Everything was good with him, he's knowledgeable, professional and timely, his pricing is really high though. He's really expensive. The quality of his inspection was good. I will not use him again in the future because he is really expensive.

Mike was on time, very courteous and had great ideas for my yard. I was disappointed when I got his quote for the service, however, because it was MUCH higher than any other quotes I've gotten. It's a shame because I would have like to have hired him.

It went very well and they accomplished a large amount of work in a short time. Very professional group, nice work. The only thing I would have appreciated more was assistance in planning for the original issues--wet marshy back/side area and a referral to a pond maintenance company since these were services outside of this company's range. I was looking for a more ongoing management service. Otherwise, I can now keep up with general yard maintenance. I would hire them again knowing what they do well.

The $88.00 package was ok. Because the individual job estimates seemed high, we did not have this company do any of the work. Mike was professional, provided sufficient time to listen to my concerns and his bids were promptly written.

Mike said he had seen many problems like mine. Somehow made me feel better. He gave me some ideas and options. I made my choice and he is going to have it done by Easter. He was very nice, polite and professional.

Mike provided a professional assessment of our situation, listened to what we wanted and then gave us his thoughts and an estimate. Once we agreed to that he wrote up a final quot/contract that we signed and put down a small down payment. He was able to do all this work over the winter since we were flexible about the weather. Once the bitter cold weather let up for a few days he swooped in and got it done! We asked for extra rocks after the fact for another area of our yard and he had them to us the next day. He was careful about placing them exactly as we wanted and sent us a reasonable bill for those. Communication was excellent and he is a trustworthy gentleman. He will be coming later in the spring to lay fresh mulch in our yard for us. In summary - Mike did everything he said he would do the way he said he would when he said he would. He gave clear and detailed explanations of the way he would do things and why. He left nothing unsaid or undone. It was amazing to work with a contractor who does that. Love this guy and would refer him in a minute.

Isbir was very prompt and professional in coming to our home to discuss our project and give us an estimate. We have been contacting several landscapers over several months about this project, and we appreciated their promptness with the bid. However, we were shocked at how high the bid actually was. We knew going in that a patio, sitting wall and fire pit would not be cheap. However, after getting bids for the same project, same materials, etc. from 3 other companies, we felt that Isbir was just incredibly high. Their bid came in at over $15,000 more than all the other landscapers. They may do great work, but we were not willing to spend that much more when other companies could do the same project for so much less.

It was wonderful. There was nothing negative. Everything was wonderful. He will actually send me a contract to do my landscape. His prices are wonderful. I was so pleased. I was fine with the whole thing.

I am still working with them, and so far it has been good.

The work turned up very good and I was very pleased with them. I thought they were very professional and they did the work in a timely manner. The workmen that came were very polite and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them to other people.

Mike Isbir was extremely professional. We had to reschedule a couple of times due to weather issues; his office's follow-up was great. The consultation was a full hour and he gave a number of options with pros and cons for each, discussed prioritizing and cost-saving strategies, and answered a lot of questions very patiently and thoroughly. He gave an estimate that broke the project into multiple parts to make planning easier. I really appreciated that he also got an estimate for a broken handrail through another provider even though this was outside of his usual work. I need to get other estimates before committing, but the cost of the consultation was definitely worth it for me and I would recommend Mike to others and would feel very good about working with his team.

He came out but I didn’t use them. It was kind of high price. He gave me an estimate for what he could do and it was way over. The consultation was fine. He seems to be knowledgeable. His background seems to be he had a degree. That was basically the bottom line; I thought it was a little too high.

The consultation went well. The guy showed up on time. We walked around our property and discussed landscape ideas that we could do ourselves. We received quotes for the things we would not be able to do on our own.
