Initially on the phone he told me he had some big jobs coming up, and asked if I could wait. I told him this was our main sewer line, and had been cleared, but we were told to be gentle with it. I told him I didn't think I could wait and I needed to know if it was possible to reline. We have someone who will dig up and replace the section of pipe thought to be broken, but since it crosses into my neighbors yard, I wanted to explore this possibility and save the digging and inconvenience. He mentioned something about 45 degree angles being a problem (I don't know if there are any), but asked if he could come today 5/29 at noon. I agreed. 5/29 - No show, no call. I called him at 12:30. He didn't know he was supposed to be here. He said the holiday weekend had screwed up his schedule. I told him I didn't need anything anymore. My time is important as well. I'm sure he'd have rescheduled me and made it right, but I have no patience, and no time to wait as I made clear on the initial phone call. John was referred to me by another Angies list provider. That provider was busy on a big contract and he said John was a good guy and would be able to help me sooner. John set an appointment, was on time - inspected my situation. Once we discussed what needed to happen, and the price. He proceeded to make it happen for me that evening. However, things did not go as planned. The dryer gas line attachment I had purchased did not have the right fitting that attached to the dryer. John said no problem, he did not have the item with him, but could come back tomorrow and get me all set up. John again showed up this evening on time, and ready to go. It took him perhaps 15 minutes to complete everything, including testing to make sure I had no gas leaks. He even went so far as to make sure that my dryer was level. I am happy to say my Dryer is currently drying clothes! YAY no more clothes line for me! Thank you John for taking care of my gas line relocation - and dryer connection!
