Dave Nicely is seriously an all around fabulous HVAC magician. Here is some background for our situation: we moved into our home in July of 2020 with no idea that the HVAC system was completely wrong for the home. Much of the system was DIY from the homeowner and extremely inefficient. We had the home warranty people come in to try and fix the furnace when we found out it was shorting out from incorrect installation. Dave came in and navigated mistakes by the home warranty people and the previous home owner, and installed the correct system that works beautifully! We could not be happier.

The furnace was initially misdiagnosed on the nouns to me. Once I discovered that the furnace has been diagnosed incorrectly I called them to have them re-look at the furnace. They refused to come out and re-diagnose the problem as they had already been paid.

I was extremely pleased with Dave and his work. I had received a few quotes for my project and they ranged over several thousands of dollars...for various brands of furnaces/ACs. Dave installed a Rheem for me. His price wasn't the cheapest, but it was very reasonable. The project was installed on-time and Dave and his crew did an excellent job of cleaning up the furnace room after they left. (It was cleaner than before they got there!) We had one small problem with a leaky reservoir but I contacted Dave that evening and he was out the next day with a replacement part. I would, and will, certainly hire Dave for future HVAC projects and I have recommended him to several neighbors.

We have two heating/AC systems in our house, as we added on to a small ranch and could not extend the duct work. One system, a heat pump, was already in place and was working okay, and the other was installed by Mr. Nicely. The one he installed has always worked perfectly and efficiently, and has not needed any attention for over 15 years now. The older system stopped working over the weekend, so we had no AC in our bedrooms. Mr. Nicely found that the fan had worn out, but that the rest of the 25-year-old system was actually in good working order. He replaced the fan and it's now working just fine! He will be returning next week to re-insulate some of the piping and duct work which is beginning to crack and deteriorate. Given that the system is 25 years old, he could easily have told us that it needed to be entirely replaced - that would have been easier and probably more profitable for him. He is obviously honest, and has always completed good work for us. We have recommended him to our entire extended family, and all of them are are happy with his work and his prices. He is very punctual, polite, and professional, and provides great service at reasonable rates.
