EVOLUTIONARY COMPUTERS

I dropped off my computer to have a new backlit keyboard installed. I waited 45 min and was told there were no viruses on the computer but would have to wait for them to research a cost of the repair. 6 days later after my third call to them they gave me two prices, one for $60 to clean the keyboard or $200 to replace it. I went with the new board. After waiting two weeks I went and picked up my computer to use while waiting for the part only to find out that they had installed a program on the computer that was making my security system inactive. Another week and 1/2 , two trips and three call about when it would be done I finally got my keyboard installed. Upon taking it home I turned it on. 1 of the keys was broken and the keyboard did not lite up. I took it back immediately and was told they would expedite a new keyboard. Three weeks later, and second call about the order the girl told me the tracking slip said "out for delivery today". I asked if it was the post office and she assured me she would call as soon as it was delivered. No call Saturday. Monday was a holiday so I waited until 3:30pm Tuesday and called. She told me it was there and I could come in the next day to have it installed, which I did. Well, I dropped it off and waited. Every 1/2 hour she would tell me just a bit longer. Finally another woman told be it would be about 15 more minutes. I was a bit upset after waiting 1 1/2 hours already she said, "Oh we can deliver it to you later today" something the other girl never offered. Finally the girl delivered it to my home that evening and told me even "she" was stumped and couldn't get it to work. (This was scary to me since she didn't know how to read a tracking #. Sorry!) She said for $75.00 more they would get rid of all the viruses I had on the computer and that is why they couldn't fix it. I have never been told by a professional that they couldn't fix something because it was my fault.. She left laughing. I called the company and was told "yes", I had to give them more money to get the keyboard to lite up?????? The first person who worked on my computer didn't install the driver. This is what the girl told her co-work right in front of me while I was waiting to get it fixed the second time. She did whisper it but I was sitting 4' from her and I'm old but not deaf. The bottom line the first person left their security program installed on my computer leaving without turning my computer security off. This left my computer vulnerable for problems. I should not be the one to pay for something caused by the company. Second when you are told an order will be expedited taking over 3 1/2 week is excessive. They fix cell phone screens quickly but not computers. Their customer service leaves much to be desired. I paid an excessive amount for a keyboard that doesn't work properly. BEWARE of promised by this company.
