I can't say enough about how great these men are. There is no one in this area who repairs or replaces radiant heat. I should say, there wasn't anyone. I called many electricians. Only two would even consider the job. The other provider was so slow in making an initial appointment and giving me an estimate, that Paul had started the process before they responded. Paul was even willing to contact an electrician in California that I found on the internet. He had to learn a whole new system. Paul was always patient. He explained my options in an all electric home and the costs involved with each choice. It took me some time to finally decide on the replacement. He explained every step clearly and gave me an accurate estimate despite the unknown territory. He was considerate in scheduling appointments and returned every call promptly, even when he was on vacation. The team was always prompt, courteous and thorough. They had to work in the attic with insulation fiber and no heat. To do the initial examination, they had to cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling. Upon completion they not; only fixed that hole but also a preexisting hole. Their cleanup was so thorough I'm sure kitchen floor was cleaner than before they started. Paul not only came to check their work, he returned a few days later to make sure the new system was working properly and called about a month later to check again. All of this and the final cost was less than I had anticipated.

Chernichky Electric (Paul) was professional and friendly from the onset. Once called, he returned my call promptly and set up a time, that best suited my schedule, to check out the problem. His assistant Steve, showed up on time and found the problem in a GFI outlet that had gone bad; he replaced the GFI and cleaned up. This lasted about 4 hours and the same problem occured again. I called Paul back and informed him of the situation. I also tasked him with another problem that needed fixed and I had forgot about; we scheduled another appointment for the next morning. Steve showed up and reviewed the problem from the prior morning and found the routing from GFI to GFI needed corrected. Steve explained everything completely from the GFI problems to the reason for routing correction. Steve then completed work on the additional job that I had added; which involved lighting rewiring and replacement. Once Steve completed all work he checked the main braker box for loose connections to ensure everything was tight. Paul called me later that day to ensure that everything had been completed to my satisfaction and then called me again the next morning to ensure there were no more issues. Paul is a true professional running a professional business with professional people and no he did not charge me for another service call to come out again! My last electrician had retired and I needed to find a new one; so I reviewed the list provided by Angie and found Chernichky Electric; I now have a new Electrician to go to and highly recommend his service. I did review several for price comparison and found almost all of them to be about the same. From here it comes down to quality and honesty.

Paul has one helper. In a previous visit, he solved a very difficult house wiring problem. There was a short in a wall, that was very hard to find, and he was amazing! It took him a long time to find it, but he did. I have nothing but good things to say about him. His services are fantastic, and he's a really nice guy. He's prompt, and responsive. Paul is all A's, and I would recommend him to anybody.
