The replacement of my retaining wall project went very well. I had a wood retaining wall removed and a stone wall built in its place with new landscaping above it. I could tell from the start, this was a very experienced, knowledgeable, and organized company. From initial conversations with Cody, to direct contact with the owner Pierce, to the mason expert Curtis, and detail oriented worker John, they completely made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. Project kicked off earlier than expected and finished a day sooner. I absolutely love the results of my new retaining wall!

Start to finish it was an excellent experience. During the initial visit, Pierce took the time to hear what I was looking for, answer questions I had, and also ask his own questions and make suggestions where relevant. From that point on he was always very accessible and happy to answer any of the (many) questions that I had throughout the process. The team was able to complete the work efficiently and with minimal disruption to my family or my neighbors. His team members were all great representatives of the company as well, providing quality work and thoughtful suggestions. The end product is such a massive upgrade over what we previously had - it looks amazing, and we're so glad we chose Pierce Shallis for this work. To top it all off, Pierce has been very helpful after the fact in making himself available to answer any maintenance questions and offer guidance where needed. I will definitely work with Pierce Shallis again for any future landscaping needs and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to revamp their landscaping.

Pierce and team were an absolute pleasure to work with. He offered great ideas to achieve my main objective of low maintenance landscaping that also looks great. They were extremely thorough as well. They eliminated one existing bed and put grass seed down. I feel like most companies would simply tear it up, rake it out, and throw down seed. Pierce and team brough in additional topsoil and made sure everything was perfectly level before seeding. Additionally in one area near the end of my driveway, I wanted some river rock as a permanent weed barrier where I place my trashcans. They could have simply, ripped up existing weeds, put down fabric and stone and called it a day. They felt it would sit too high, so they dug out several inches of topsoil first so it sat lower. The process of choosing plants with them is great as they include you and let YOU make the decisions with their guidance. I will be coming back to Pierce when we are ready for our next project.

Awesomely. Very happy. The new and replacement plantings are very nice. Also, those concrete slabs have been there since house purchased over 30 years ago. Hadn't even planned to ask about that but since I wanted two of the bushes planted in that area I asked just for the heck of it . I was surprised when Pierce said they can get them out of there. Will definitely use again.

Pierce comes highly recommended: he has done multiple jobs for us, always with wonderful results. He installed a sod lawn which, a year later, is lush and beautiful. Recently, he solved a serious drainage issue by installing a French drain and river rock; he also accompanied us to the nursery to help select specimen trees and shrubs, which he installed. We are consistently impressed with his professionalism, attention to detail, and prompt/thoughtful responses to questions and requests. We will use him for all landscaping projects in the future!

They asked that I send pictures of the cement walkway and the slope of it, they just told me that they would not be able to help me....never came out....WTH?

Great. They even returned same day for a small extra request. Very congenial, polite, thorough. Didn't think I'd get anyone as it was a small job but they did come out and I would definitely use them again.

Everything went great. Pierce and his team were all super professional and informative. Pierce was upfront on his approach and pricing and was accommodating and available throughout the process, even though this was not a huge job.

The day of the installation the crew was fantastic. The crew descended upon the house and make it look beautiful. And we can’t forget Barbie in the front office. She is extremely helpful and responds very quickly to any questions we had. The overall experience was outstanding!!! Exceeded our expectations. Pierce and his team are real professionals who take what they do seriously. Pierce is on time, a person of his word, knowledgeable about his craft, honest and shows up. We interviewed several people for this important and expensive project, he not only showed up on time every time but proved to us he was the right person for the job by explaining everything, being sensitive to the area we live in (deer resistant plants) and respecting the natural, organic setting we live in. We would re-hire him without hesitation.

The work was outstanding from beginning to end. Pierce is upfront and transparent about the process. We had a very tough backyard to renovate with a lot of rocks and tough terrain. Cody and his team put in a sweet split rail fence that is perfect to fence in a new puppy. They also flattened out my backyard, applied topsoil and seed and added river rocks beneath my deck area. It is totally transformed. Cody and his team were friendly, punctual, and work very quickly. This is the second big job that Pierce has done for us and the work and people are outstanding. I highly recommend these guys for any landscaping project you need, big or small.

Pierce Shallis has taken care of our property for several years, and our property is always left in beautiful condition. His workers and site managers are professional, friendly, and well-trained. Last week we had some plants and river rocks installed next to blue stone steps that were installed last year. Again the work was professionally completed. We have had John as our site manager for the last four visits to our property installing drainage and plants as well as spring clean-up. He is very focused on the job to be completed but always evaluates other areas of the property to ensure that it is in good condition. On this visit he noticed problems with our ivy and indicated that he would research possible solutions. He is a great team leader working along with the other workers. We are fortunate to have found Pierce Shallis.

We have been working with Pierce for 3 years and he has helped completely transform the curb appeal of my property. Most recently, we had Pierce grade and seed an area of the property that was recently cleared of overgrown brush and trees. As always, Pierce and his team did a great job.
