Everything has gone great with Pierce and his crews. All projects were completed on time exactly as designed. Pierce is great with communication and he and his whole crew are professional and respectful of the property and the home. I highly recommend Pierce's company.

We contacted Pierce to get a quote for our landscaping needs. He promptly responded and we setup an on-site visit within few days. When we met, Pierce listened to our needs and seemed very knowledgeable about the work that was needed. Within a reasonable timeframe we received a detailed plan and a quote. Given the time of the year, we did not proceed with the work at that point, but it is something we are considering for the next Spring.

Pierce worked closely with us to develop an excellent plan to completely re-do the long neglected landscaping around our recently purchased home. As part of this process, Pierce met with us on multiple occasions, both at our home and at local nurseries, where he used his outstanding horticultural knowledge to select attractive and functional plantings that best met our needs and that stayed within our stated budget. In terms of execution, Pierce and his amazingly polite and efficient crew did a great job removing the old plantings and trees, installing his new design and doing follow through after completion of the work to insure that we were completely satisfied. We are extremely happy with the result and plan to work with Pierce going forward on maintenance of the new landscaping.

Could not be happier with project. Exceeded expectations, priced below what I expected. Owner took the time to meet me at nursery to go over all recommended plantings and adjusted to my preference. Everything on time, followed up and did a terrific job ! One of a few home improvement projects which went perfectly, I am now looking for other projects I can use them for !!

We have a swimming pool with a slope that had a lot of weeds. They were able to pull those out and they have not grown back since. They went above and beyond. They did a great job and beautiful work. Four guys came out, they cleaned out everything they saw and even swept all around the pool too. They also trimmed back a tree that was growing too close to the house, even though was not part of the deal. I wished I could give them an A+. I will be calling them back in the spring.

Overall the experience went very well. We corresponded largely through email (which is my preference) which led to a little delay in discussing the proper hardscaping materials but only by a day or two. Came out promptly to quote when I first called, and work was done well within timeline laid out. Will probably have them back in the spring since the vine is returning. I think it's actually coming from a neighbor's property - we've been battling it for years! Much as I'd like to think I enjoy gardening, I really don't. And I can't wait to see my new rhododendron bush in the spring. Some little details weren't taken care of, but they weren't very important to me so I haven't followed up on them.

Pierce and his team did a fantastic job for a very fair price. They were hard working, responsive, professional and knowledgeable. They completely transformed the front yard. It was a complete mess and we've gotten so many compliments since it was finished. I would absolutely use them again.

The work was very professional. I was so relieved the day I came home from work and found my yard clean and tidy! Everything looks great. I've worked with other landscapers and I thought the price was very good for the service provided. I already have them scheduled to mulch in the Spring.

The representative from the company was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. She gave me a very competitive quote. I didn't end up getting the work done but I would definitely consider using them.

Pierce was very professional and very responsive. We had a lot of trouble even getting any landscaper to call us back... who knew it was so hard to give people your money? But Pierce has come through with everything we have needed and we still use them for general yard maintenance and leaf removal. Next spring we plan to do some more work and plan to use Pierce as well. thanks again!

Requested a quote to create a new garden bed and plant various plants and shrubs. We received several quotes and decided to do the work ourselves. It turned out to be a lot more work than anticipated, so the price quoted seems fair. Pierce and his team were prompt, knowledgeable and very professional. Would recommend.

They did all that was in the contract and a bit more. Very thorough, yard looked great. Very pleased with work.

All of the performed was done sharply and completely with no noticeable waste of time. All areas of work were properly cleaned and returned to normal. instructions for the care of the newly installed were given and the company owner called with adjusted instructions as the change in weather called for them.

Pierce's crew always does a wonderful job of keeping our yard neat every week. I also really enjoy the newsletters they have been sending out. It is nice to see a company that really cares about communicating with their customers.

The landscaping guy did an initial visit and claimed he had fully-trained landscapers but I got two kids like in high school or maybe college. They didn't know what they were doing. It really just wasn't worth it. The kids he sent were very polite. It's not their fault. One pulled out the weed and he just wasn't experienced enough. When I see too much money, I get so upset.

This was the second property that Pierce worked with us on. Pierce has an amazing knowledge of horticulture and landscaping. He asked us what our end goal was for our property and then worked with us step by step thru the process to achieve our desired goal. Pierce made suggestions of plants and trees that could be done within our budget and that fit the "look" we were after. Pierce gave us eye pleasing landscaping with low maintenance. We can not say enough how wonderful our property looks and within our budget. We had several other estimates and Pierce's plant choices and design was far superior to the other companies. I contact Pierce Shallis Landscaping & Design regarding landscaping in front of my house. They removed some dead/overgrown shrubbery and also re-seeded certain parts of the front yard. I was extremely pleased with the result. They were quick to come out and give me an initial quote and they came to do the work within about a day of my signing the proposal. I would use them again in the future.

Pierce is always prompt with appointments, gives helpful and honest input including available options, and is very responsive with making appointments / responding to questions. We never get the feeling that he's trying to up-sell unnecessary services, which is always important. Overall, we're very happy with the work he's done so far.

I had used Pierce's company in the past for landscaping services. I was very happy with his services including outstanding customer service not to mention competitive pricing. So it seemed logical to have Pierce fix our retaining wall for our front yard. Once again Pierce and his crew were great. On time! Great job! Pierce and his super crew came at exactly the time agreed, ? and when they left just a few hours later, it was a beautiful oasis. It was magic!
