Description of Work: As the numerous ratings indicate, this is a first class operation. The owner is always with his workers who are skilled and pleasant. Pierce supervises in a professional way the work to be completed. This is our third year with them. They perform the routine spring and fall cleanup leaving the property pristine. We have also had them trim our trees, build a stone walk through our pachysandra, blue stone steps up to the back from our patio and another ten steps leading up to our shed. They have in addition, added several bushes around our patio and to the side of our driveway enhancing our property. I don't think you could do better.

Description of Work: After having a new driveway installed the edges were exposed about 8 inches on one side of the lawn and several spots on the other side. There was a rock car pad that had the same problem. I contacted Pierce and he responded quickly and came to look at the project and gave an estimate via email that evening like he promised. He came to do the project on time and finished when he said he would. The work is perfect and I am very pleased!

Description of Work: We hired Pierce to remove the stone from our front and side beds and replace with mulch. They removed approx 12 tons of stone. The communication was excellent. Pierce, himself, responded to every inquiry almost immediately. The estimate provided was clear and comprehensive. Pierce and his team showed up on time and worked late on the first day to ensure they could complete the project on time. They cleaned up thoroughly and even put down grass seed in the areas they disturbed with the machinery. They had to move a lot of exterior lighting and work around a lot shrubs/bushes. Very, very professional, high quality, and one of the most responsive contractors I've worked with.

Description of Work: applied lawn herbicide, aerated and over-seeded yard, tested soil, removed ivy. They did a great job. The crabgrass died and the over-seeding already yielded new grass. Would definitely recommend their work!

Description of Work: I met with Pierce at my home to go over the estimate. I had his crew complete a Fall and Spring cleanup. They also cut back 2 Barberry hedges and removed all debris. They did a thorough job and they committed to a date that they would have the projected completed by. Between Heather in the office completing the paperwork, invoices and estimates and Pierce on the job in person... I would give them an A+.

He takes care of all of our lawn maintenance needs and also our occasional landscaping needs (plantings, mulching, hedge trimming, etc.). He is always prompt and leaves our property looking fantastic. Additionally we use him for snow removal. During the winter of 2009-2010 he was out a lot as it was a heavy snow year. He was always very prompt and generally had us dug out early in the morning. I highly recommend Pierce and his crew!

 + -1 moreI had just purchased a home with a lawn, shrubs and trees that needed immediate attention. Pierce was recommended to me by my realtor. He was prompt, courteous, and did a great job with all the weeding, pruning and waste removal. He also has a degree in landscape design and I was looking forward to having him add some landscape design elements to my property in the spring. The only problem I had was when it was time to pay the bill he insisted on either cash or a check made payable to him personally. This was after he represented that he had a business with employees. I paid him for the work he completed, but told him that I am not comfortable continuing the relationship under these circumstances. Either you have a business which is conducted in a professional manner, or you don't. But I think he does great work and hope he gets some professional advice from an accountant and puts his business affairs in order.
Description of Work: Bushes trimmed along whole front and side of home; removed mulch, added soil and applied seed; removed weeds in all mulch beds and applied weed killer; pruned and trimmed tree; removed 2 small dead trees; edged garden beds; removed weeds along back property fence and sprayed with weed killer; removed and disposed of all yard waste.
