TreeGuyNow was supposed to come to my house this past Sunday for an estimate, but they did not show and did not call. Two days later on Tuesday, they call and acknowledge that they were supposed to be here Sunday, but they do not make any apologies for the no show. They ask if they could come now, which was about 6:30 pm. We said fine, they said be there in 15 minutes. An hour and 10 minutes later, still no TreeGuyNow (how about they rename themselves TreeGuyNotNow, haha!)

They did not show up the day they were supposed to do the job, nor did they call, so i had to adjust my whole schedule for that. When they did arrive, they were not properly equipped to do the job. They were going to stand on my fence and cut the trees much shorter than discussed during the estimate. I told them I wanted them trimmed the way we discussed at estimate. The person who does the estimates and the leader of the crew are two different people and are not on the same page as I will discuss shortly. Without asking, they brought their truck into my backyard to stand on because they did not have the proper ladders. The trimming job they did was adequate, but would have been better had they been properly equipped. I felt like i had to watch them to make sure they were doing things properly all day. When they finished trimming, they told me they were done. I had bought 6 lengths of cord to be weaved in the trees to help keep them upright, as was written in the estimate. The lead man told me that it really was not going to help, and that the estimator did not know what she was talking about. He also told me that he thought the the estimate that was given was fair for the work already performed, and that she was just trying to get her foot in the door. I told him to either do the job or we negotiate another price. They did (in my opinion) a less than stellar job, and I had to stand there and make sure they were doing the job. They also hit my mailbox with their truck. They did buy me a new one and offered to install it, but by that point why would I want them to do any more work for me, so I had to take more of my time to do it.
Description of Work: My tall evergreens were trimmed and corded (sort of)

Everything went well. They are very good at what they do. Sometimes it's a little hard getting them out during the busy Spring season, but otherwise they are very efficient.
Description of Work: They removed some shrubs in my yard. I've used them in the past as well.

Bushner's happened to be in our area doing work for a neighbor, so we contacted them for an estimate on removing a large tree for us. They contacted us very quickly with a price of $1000 to remove the tree and cut it into 'moveable' pieces. This price did not include stump grinding/removal, or removal of the wood (we had friends that took the wood once they were done). We had 3 other estimates, of which Bushner's was the least expensive. They are insured adequately as well, which was a huge bonus. We scheduled them for March 4, which they promptly arrived in the morning (around 8:30am). They were done at approx. 3:30pm. We live in a residential area, and luckily the lot next door to us is empty, allowing them drive on the yard and use the empty lot to drop the tree. We do have a new vinyl fence, which they suggested we have 2 sections of the fence removed (no posts). Our fence installer removed the 2 sections of fencing they requested. The process was prompt and quick! However, the pieces they left were not all 'movable'. There were some extremely large pieces, which required 2 men to move. Also, they removed a fence post (which they did not request prior). They put the fence post back in, but it was not installed correctly or deep enough, so now our fence installer needs to come back out and properly place it. Overall, the process was quick and painless, and I would hire them again. Our tree was very large, and required a lot of work to remove. Their price was the best by far!
Description of Work: Bushner's cut down a large, double veined Silver Maple tree for us. (approx. 4 foot trunk)
