on time, great quality, friendly operators. flexible with extra work. They installed a few extras while they had the roof removed. they did not only the main dwelling, but my shed as well. I was taken aback when I saw one of the installers was disabled with obvious extremities deformation. but to my surprise, he was probably the best worker of the crew. there was a small issue after "SANDY", Paul came right out to inspect, and said it would be a couple of weeks. much to my surprise. The crew was there to make repairs the middle of the following week. repairs were made. And no further problems have happened. Well done Paul!

A very professional, responsive, high-quality contractor! Paul Petty was impressive from the start with a very thorough quote and proposal. His contract presentation was better than Todd Miller, Paul Wright, or Kunsman; as well as two other small roofing contractors. Those others just sent a price through email or over the phone. When the job started, his crew was professional and friendly. They even brought treats for my dog after the first day. They cleaned up debris daily and I could barely find a scrap of shingle or a nail anywhere after they left. Much better than I expected while undergoing a roof replacement. Compared to the other roofers I received quotes from, Paul Petty Roofing offered the best combination of quality and customer service for the price. I would use again and highly recommend.

Excellent! First I have to say we were very pleased that he would come out and fix the mess that someone else had made. He came out assed the problem and worked with us and the manufactured of the roof to correct the problem in a very timely manner. We were concerned because it was now winter and thought we would have to wait to have the repairs done. Mr. Petty assured us he would do job promptly and correctly. His team found multiple problems caused by the former roofers and repaired them all. We are so pleased we contacted Paul Petty Roofing. We have no more leaks after 9 months of anguish. I tried to get quote in the past during the summer and did not get a quick quote, after reading Angies list comments Mr Petty got back to me .this time I got the house roof quoted in the winter to schedule work in the spring. I got on the schedule. This was a key item. Mr. Petty redeemed himself and did nice job, he took the time to add unexpected cement foundations negotiating pool pipes and electric cables, his son is a craftsman. The only delays occurred when it rained which we had no control over. This was all after the work tapering off from storm Sandy DO's Use drawings .............a picture is worth a thousand words Determine local building codes Get on the schedule at least 2 months in advance Know if you want colors on the gutters, drip edges etc. in advance Be thorough as possible during the quoting stage DONT's Don't Assume a lot , discuss or draw or sketch things out and agree upon them

He came last month. We liked His work. We've done every thing nothing. We know that he can do the windows. Now he's replacing all over our windows. He's excellent. He comes on time. He calls you back when you're calling.

I contacted Paul Petty Roofing and Siding about a roof replacement after they had done some minor siding work for me a few years earlier. He provided us with an estimate that was very competitive with the other estimates we had received. We decided to go with Paul because of his knowledge about the roof we would be installing, his master installer certification and lastly the feeling we got from meeting with him, mainly that we were not just another roof job. When we were discussing the options for the roof, he treated us like we were the only project he had going on at the time, a feeling we did not get from the other contractors, who seemed more interested in getting the job than ensuring that it would be done right and we would be happy. The installation was about two months after the estimate. Being the son of a general contractor, I can tell you that this was normal, and reassuring. Any roofer who can start "immediately" is someone you do not want installing your roof. A contractor that is busy, is one that does a great job, Paul did a great job. On installation day, his crew arrived on-time and I gave Paul a deposit of 1/2 the cost of the roof up front (on the day he started), with the rest due upon completion. The roof was installed over 3 days (it is a large complicated roof). At the end of each day, his crew cleaned up the yard, which was important because we have 3 dogs, and covered our roof securely and water tight. We put the water tightness to the test because it rained, and not a drop of water came in under the temporary covers. His workers were polite to my wife, myself and my neighbors, and always showed up on time. When the job was complete they left us a bundle of extra shingles in case we ever needed them. The new roof looks great, and more importantly performs better than we ever could have imagined. Using the GAF shingles was the second best decision we made, hiring Paul as a certified installer was the best decision we made. During Hurricane Sandy our roof performed flawlessly. We did not have one leak, nor did we lose a single shingle. The same cannot be said for our neighbors who had a roof redone at the same time we did, they did not use Paul, and lost few shingles and had a leak. I highly recommend Paul Petty Roofing and Siding and hope that you hire him to do work to your home!

Paul did an excellent job and was very responsive. He explained in detail the repairs needed and his bill matched his estimate.He arrived to perform the job as promised . Paul went the extra mile because the day he performed the repair it was extremely cold and windy. I thought for sure he wouldn't be able to do it but he did. I was very impressed with his service. As a matter of fact, Paul left me the extra shingles in the bundle just in case I have any other damage in the future. I would recommend Paul Petty Roofing to anyone. They do excellent work!

This is the second time we have worked with Paul Petty. This time for siding, new porch and new garage door and previously for all new windows. Both experiences were very good ones! Our home looks beautiful and much more efficient than before. The crews that worked on both projects were very knowledgable and professional. Our neighbors were even making comments on Paul's team. Paul himself checked in daily on the work performed that day, any questions we had, and worked with us on decisions that had to be made along the way. I still get excited to see my "new home" everytime I pull into the driveway. I would and already have recommended Paul Petty Roofing to anyone looking for windows and siding.

Usually he's very thorough. When he does the estimate, he comes and goes over it with me and he also includes a certificate of insurance. He does everything very professionally and well organized.

Paul came recommended to me by my contractor I had hired for a job at my home. He is extremely attentive and detailed oriented and makes sure he can give you a window you want and the price you want. He will go over many differenet window options with you and make sure you are 100% satifisfied with your window purcahse.

I would not recommend this company. When I had issues with the work I called he came out and agrued with me, the second time I called he advised he would come and never did.

The entire experience, from initial contact, through the estimate, project scheduling and completion of the job, was done in a very professional manner and completely met my expectations. Included in the initial presentation were several references, copies of insurance certificates and professional certifications as well as product brochures, all which helped make it easy to assess this company's offering and compare it to other contractors. In spite of several days of bad weather prior to the job, the work was started on time. Communication regarding project status was good througout the multi-day job. I am a person who asks lots of questions and expects high-quality workmanship. Paul Petty personally took the time to provide detailed responses to any questions I had. All of the work was completed with high quality. The few minor issues that are inevitable on a project of this size were promptly addressed to my satisfaction. In fact, when I discovered three window sashes that had tiny specs between the panes of glass and a few window locks that had scratches on them (due to a manufacturing error--not anything to do with installation), Paul had a rep from the manufacturer, BF Rich, at my home within two days with replacement sashes and new locks. Honestly that level of customer service from both Paul and BF Rich were far beyond what I expected. The end result of this project was a true home improvement. The exterior of our house looks much nicer thanks to the fine aluminum capping and other trim work around the new windows. On the inside, the trim work was also well done. Of course with new windows, the true test is freedom from air and water leaks. We had a strong storm last night--very high winds and heavy rain. Not a single air leak around or through any window and no water leaks. I am completely satisfied with my experience with Paul Petty Roofing and Siding and highly recommend them.

They were very good. We did a little bit different with our roof and Paul Petty Roofing and Siding researched the same knew the job, too. We referred him to our neighbors and will use the same in future.

They came back once the weather broke and the ice had melted so it was sage to go up as promised. There were no leaks, so there was no rush. The flashing was replaced and shingles re-fastened. ALl looks perfect. They were professional and cleaned up everything when they were done. All expectations were met, no problems or regrets. We had some intense ice, snow, rain and wind storms since the work was done with winds over 70 MPH and it's all holding up fine.

Paul gave us an estimate and a timeline of about 4 weeks, saying that the chimney cap had to be manufactured off-site and that he would wait to install all items together. Four weeks went by and when I called to find out the status, he said that he never quoted us a timeline of about 4 weeks. He said he would check on the status of the chimney cover and let us know. Another week went by and when I called him because he didn't bother to get back to us, he said the chimney cover would be delayed at least another weeks. He said he couldn't work because of the wind and the rain, because of safety reasons. Understandable, so we let it go. More time when by and when I called him again he was testy, and said he would be out sometime that week. He finally showed up when I wasn't home and was just finishing the installation of the chimney cap when I drove up. It does not look like the same quality that is shown on his web page. What he put up looks like something hastily thrown together at the last minute just to get the customer off his back. Lucky for him that it is very high up and almost impossible for a client to get up to it to inspect closely. But we were done dealing with him that we made the final payment and let it go. About a month ago, (approx 5-6 months after the installation) one of the pieces of siding that he put up blew off. I called him and he said that because the siding is constantly expanding and contracting, that he would come back this one last time but wouldn't guarantee that it would stay up. Interesting since his website says that he guarantees his work for 5 years. Is siding his business? After a month, he has never bothered to call or show up to put up the piece of siding that blew off. We have called another contractor. Would never use this contractor again. Gives a thousand reasons why he can't do his work. Doesn't follow through on his guarantee. Maybe our job was too miniscule for him.
