No issues at all. The mason's crew completed the work in less than a week - tearing down an existing block chimney and rebuilding it. The damaged/cracked existing chimney was too short for proper draft, so the masons rebuilt it higher. They protected my roof with temporary carpeting. All debris was removed daily and the job site was kept clean. I recommend this mason contractor for any chimney work.

This is a difficult review to rate because of the unusually brutal winter we had in north eastern pa 2012-2013. I want to be fair, as the weather would have affected any contractor. There were many days - and a few consecutive weeks - where it was not possible to work safely due to snow and ice My only negatives about the project are the time to complete and contact with the contractor. I gave the contractor approval to start in Sept 2013. Work started the week before Thanksgiving. Work concluded at the end of April 2014. As stated above, there were many days and weeks where work was not possible due to weather. I wish that the contractor would have been in better contact throughout the time when it was not possible to work. I am satisfied with the new retaining wall, and with the repaired chimney. The job site was cleaned at the end of the job. Unlike previous experiences with masonry contractors, there was no and quot;wash down messand quot; where the mixer was cleaned at the end of the day. Material and equipment was stacked and stored in an orderly manner at the end of easy work day. All debris was removed. The contractor's crew was always polite and professional. The contractor's trucks did not leave any oil stains on my driveway. I have some other masonry projects planned for spring and summer 2014, and I plan to use this contractor.
