Paul and his co worker were quiet, professional and polite as they completed this job over a couple of days. Always on time, always calls back. Thank you Paul.

Left a message for Paul to call us back concerning some painting and wallpaper removal! Paul was honest enough to say he didn't feel he could do the job for us in a timely manner and suggested we use another painter on Angie's List. I respect a person who didn't take a job he felt wasn't a good fit for us and referred us to a competitor, Paul will be the first person I call for any future work!

Paul called me almost immediately after i contacted him. He came over and looked at what work needed to be done. We agreed on a date (which was perfectly timed) and Paul and his assistant arrived as promised. They were very pleasant, very professional and made sure that i was clear about any changes or concerns, i.e. making sure a door was hung straight, despite a slightly crooked wall. Both men worked diligently throughout the day, taking the time to speak so kindly to my very inquisitive four year old grandson. They finished everything and cleaned up beautifully. There were a couple of little finishing tasks that i told Paul I would do (before he even started the job) and he made sure i knew what needed to be taken care of. He was terrific to deal with....HONESTY & PRIDE says it all.

Return the called to say that he not sure when he will return , but he called right after he return and came the next day to see what was needed . I will call him first to do any work for us .

Paul arrived on time, was courteous and polite and replaced the fixture without any problems. Would highly recommend.

Paul called us that night on 11/10/15 and said he could be there the next morning on 11/11/15. He came promptly with an assistant and did the job in an hour and a half. He was prompt, courteous, neat, and his expertise showed through his work. He took the doors off and took the base of the door off. He them cut the doors from the bottom and put the base back on. We will no longer have any trouble with the doors opening in the cold weather. He also tightened a bathroom faucet that was loose. After doing all this Paul charged us $150. We were very pleased and surprised. We will certainly call Paul again for any repairs or improvements. His company is well named, "Honesty and Pride".

I had bought a mailbox post, bracket, cement, and mailbox and was going to install them myself. I decided that it was a job that was just a little too big for me. Honesty and Pride was very nice to work with. They arrived a little late but said they had run into road construction on the way. The work was done in about 2 hours and looks beautiful. They did a great job! I will definitely keep them in mind for future work.

H&P came to the house, inspected the damage, carefully explained the repair process, and provided an estimate. We then scheduled the repair date. H&P arrived as scheduled and immediately went to work. First, they laid work cloths to prevent any marks on the floor. They then removed the siding and damaged wood. They explained what they had discovered and left to get wood and siding of the correct size and type. Less than 45 minutes later, they returned and completed the job. The siding that they attached was an exact match and the bottom of the sliding door looks as good as new. They then carefully cleaned up and hauled away all of the debris. Throughout the process, H&P were complete professionals. They seemed to know exactly what they were doing, they had the correct tools, and they didn't waste any time. And at the end of the four hour job, H&P informed us that since the beam beneath the rotten wood was sound and therefore did not have to be replaced, the charge was over $200 LESS than the estimate. This is my first time using Honesty and Pride but they will be my first choice for carpentry work, repairs, or painting.

I have nothing but good things to say about Honesty & Pride. The work was performed exactly as expected, on time and for the amount quoted. H&P also performed some additional work I requested that was not originally scheduled. My expectations were exceeded when H&P maintained the scheduled date even though that date was given weeks in advance. I would definitely use Honesty and Pride again.

I had a photograph of a wooden lattice that I wanted replicated on a very large wall at the front of our house. Paul nailed the design and the result was excellent. Paul suggested we paint the backside before he place it on the wall to prevent future rot. I'd also asked Paul to remove a large awning - which also meant replacing the siding - which was done in an excellent fashion. I've used Paul on many occasions from creating a new all in a workroom/garage area to power washing and sealing our deck. His fees are reasonable and I've never had reason to ask him to return and "fix" any of this work. He is someone who will suggest a less expensive solution if there is one - and will present you with options if he thinks there is a better way of doing the job.

Honesty and Pride pretty much defines Paul's work ethic and business plan, except that I would go a bit further and add "integrity". He arrived precisely when he said he would. The mailbox had been vandalized by some kids, and the post was broken off at the base. I was unable to remove the remainder of the post, as the concrete was too heavy. Although I'm not sure they expected to have to remove the old post, Paul and his colleague dug out the old concrete with the broken piece of post attached. Once the new hole was dug, they determined we hadn't provided them with enough concrete to finish the job. Paul generously offered to drive to the local box store and purchase the additional concrete mix. He didn't assess me a trip charge, just the price of the concrete. After less than 90 minutes (including the trip to the hardware store), the new mailbox post was installed, leveled, and the hardware attached. They re-filled the small garden surrounding it with the wheelbarrow of dirt I had removed the day prior, raked it level, and swept the entire area. Paul was friendly and professional, he negotiated a fair price, the job was performed perfectly, and the site left pristine when he was finished. Moreover, he responded immediately when we initially called him about the job. I will not hesitate to hire him in the future. Furthermore, I will eagerly recommend his services to friends and neighbors. He epitomizes what great business should be.

Very well! He came promptly after I contacted him. He checked out job, gave me a labor estimate and date work would be done. He had to postpone some of the work because needed supplies had not arrived. He arrived late because got lost but did very nice clean work and finished the job as soon as supplies came in. When given the bill I did not receive the bill for the supplies. Overall , I was very pleased with his work. Paul is friendly and easy to work with and I would highly recommend him as a handyman.

They were excellent. All jobs performed, they took their time and end result was what I expected.

Our new Pella back screen door, which was installed by another Angie's List service, would not open. It was jammed in to the frame. It had been improperly installed with the door and the frame not being leveled. Paul stated I could call the original installer to correct it but since I had so many problems with that service provider, I preferred Paul to redo the frame and door. He was able to do it in a timely manner & I can now go out my back door! He has also corrected attic steps for us and we will be hiring him for future projects. He truly is honest and does exceptional work.

The provider arrived right on scheduled time. He worked along with an assistant to complete the job. The job consisted of taping off the walls in the living room. I didn't want to go up to the ceiling, so the height was decided by myself. I purchased the paint for the walls and the borders. The furniture was already removed from the room. The job was done neatly. Mr. Nelson cleaned up after each day. The job took two days to complete. I'm very happy with the results of the painting. The room looks great. Now I need new furniture.

This is approximately the fifth time I have used Honesty and Pride for jobs ranging from $1500 to $275. Each time the job was performed professionally and punctually. I will be using them again in the coming weeks. I would strongly recommend them for your miscellaneous needs.

Paul and his assistant came at the appointed time. The new door installation went very smoothly, as did the repairs on the other two doors. I'm extremely pleased with the work and will definitely be calling Paul for future handyman needs.

I can't say enough nice things about the outstanding meticulous job he did. He was prompt and wasn't happy until the job was perfect. He did a wonderful job. If I could have given him higher than an A for the services he performed, I would have.

Paul did excellent work. He is very good with all wood related jobs. He is also very fair priced and he sticks to his original quotes. I have used his services a couple of times and I'm planing on keep using him for other small jobs. He Installed a ditch door in my hallway and my laundry room, he installed a new storm door and he fixed my mailbox.

This was the 2nd time we hired Paul for work at our home. Very pleased with both visits. We will use him for other projects too, for any work that he does. The name of his company says it all, Honesy and Pride. We are thrilled with our new ceiling fans and working closet door. Thank you Paul!

I'm 150 per cent satisified with Paul's work and price. Already scheduling our next job! Paul dug out the old post, purchased the replacement mailbox, and set the post. He also reinforced the structure to strengthen it. I would highly reconmmend Honest and Pride!
