Honesty & Pride

Excellent. Before I called Paul, I had been recommended,(highly) at the end of December, a husband and wife team. I called (spoke to them and met to get an estimate) but after that never saw them again. I emailed them for over 2 weeks and after 6 times of excuses and no shows I was done. I should have not waited. Then I was recommended 2 other people who have businesses listed on Angies(A rating). I called both twice and left a message and after 2 days, I looked on Angies and called Honesty and Pride. By the way the other two people took a week to get back to me. Paul called me back in the evening of the day I called and came out the next day to give me an estimate. He was reasonable and he started the following week. It only took him 2 1/2 days to finish the work. I wish I had called him sooner. This was a job I wanted done in January. He did an excellent job with everything. I would recommend him and use him again

Paul was wonderful. He and his partner, Robert, responded almost immediately to my message and came not only on time but early. My door wouldn't lock, The door was readjusted from the hinges and the strike plate and they finished in 30 m minutes or less. Perfect work, professional, wonderful, and very reasonable. Will use again! Great job!

Excellent - I received a call shortly after my first contact & my appointment was able to be made sooner than I expected. Paul arrived on time & was willing to handle all my requests. He is very knowledgeable, courteous, & takes pride in his work.

Work well well. When jobs were assessed Paul let me know how the jobs would get done and the best way to go about it. Very happy with results on doors and misc projects. Paul and Snuffy are professional, trustworthy and I always consider them when projects arise in my home. They are the best!

The finest handymen ever. Polite, punctual and professional. They did an amazing job on our shed. Wideness the doors, built a large ramp and installed a new soffit. I recommend them highly.

Awesome! Both gentlemen were a pleasure to work with. The work cost less than originally quoted because a change needed to made to the original plan. Honesty and Pride saw the issue and created a solution on the spot. The new solution cost less in labor so they reduced the price. They also took it upon themselves to go and purchase new door knobs and was able to key them to my existing locks. The new doors fit like a glove on a 70 year old house! Incredible. I have them signed up for the next project.

It went great, Paul and his helper arrived on time with an exact match for the siding and did a beautiful job replacing the broken pieces one of which was an end cap that required all the siding on either side being removed to replace it. I cannot express how pleased we were with Paul's work and would highly recommend and certainly use him again.

They did an excellent job! They arrived on-time and had the hinges installed in no time at all. They had never seen the hinges before and had no problem following the instructions that came with them. They installed them and got them working in no time. They did an excellent job. Very please and will use them again.

After dealing with too many contractors that didn't show up, call, or I had to chase after, Honesty & Pride was a pleasure to deal with. They were prompt, always responded to call messages, and called the day prior to the work to confirm they were coming. They did a very good job, were neat, and cleaned up the work areas. The price was more than fair. I would definitely use their services again!

Paul was a pleasure to work with. He was quick to respond to my initial emails requesting a quote and came out on a Wednesday evening to assess the work and quote me a price. The repair wasn't as straightforward as I was hoping for but Paul was able to come up with a solution that worked for us. We scheduled a date for the work to be performed and he arrived on time on that date. Paul and his assistant were very friendly and professional and I was happy with the resulting work. Paul provided all the materials, including the replacement parts for the frame and paint and did not go over the quoted price. I will certainly consider Honesty and Pride again for other projects in our home.

Job went great. Paul did excellent work and was efficient with his time. He performed the work over two days and arrived within the time he said and even called before he arrived. I made a couple changes to the list I originally gave him when he got here and it wasn't a problem. He went right to work and kept me informed of his progress. He also made recommendations for some of the fixes and helped me pick out a new grout color since I bought one that didn't match the existing grout. Overall very happy with his work and would definitely recommend him to anyone I know and would use him again.

Job went well. All work requested was completed same day. They did a marvelous job on the mailbox. They were able to save my mailbox from winter damage and replaced post and painted. I always appreciate the thought and time put into specific jobs. Paula and Snuffy are reliable, friendly and efficient.

Paul promptly responded to my request and because I had a short timeline, he came out a couple days before to take a look at the projects in order to give me an estimate on time and cost. He estimated he would need 2 days to complete everything, some of the tasks required some problem solving and hourly work. Paul called me with a quote and we moved forward with the scheduled work for later that week. He arrived on time, every time. Upon arrival Paul would call my cell phone so I could let him in the house, so he could avoid ringing the doorbell or knocking on the door since I had two young ones still sleeping. After he completed each task he would show me the work and make sure I was happy with everything before moving on to the next task. Paul knows that after we get through our home's inspection, if anything needs to be taken care of he will be my first call.

Paul was able to respond to my email right away, giving me a call back that evening. He came the following week and was within the time frame that we scheduled. Everything looks great, the railing that was coming lose is now very sturdy and the doors, trimmed nicely. Thanks Paul.

The whole job went great from start to finish. Paul, the owner, was courteous, kind, and respectful. He showed up when promised, finished the job in the time he quoted, and was true to the price quoted.

They performed a wonderful job. I can't believe the difference. They replaced the old handrail which had rotted and was hanging off it's last hinges. I asked to replace it with a wood railing and they did their best to match the railing on the other side and the railing is very solid. They also rebuilt the small retaining wall with the existing material. They took out the interlocking pavers and rebuilt from scratch. The pavers had been leaning forward and now it looks like a new wall. They also took the time tom make sure everything actually "looked" good. Overall I am 100% satisfied and wished they did more stuff. I would definitey use them again. Due to the weather the rail could not be painted at this time.

We're more than happy with the quality of the entire experience. He was professional and proactive. It was his idea to remove caulking around the sink and put new in. The result is that the whole bathroom looks like new! He cleaned up very well also. Will definitely use him again.

This is the second time we used Honesty and Pride and they did a great job again. Paul was very professional and always on time. He kept us informed on his schedule and everything he was doing.

Paul Nelson is a very nice man and he is good at what he does. He did a good job replacing light fixtures and windows in our home over the summer.

I purchased the door that I wanted. He was pushing me to get the door he wanted me to use. The style of that door was completely different than the other door on my deck. He showed up, looked at the frame that needed to be assembled and told me the door was the wrong size. It was 70 1/2" for a 72" opening. Then gave me a story about all the work that would be needed to mak it fit. In my opinion, he just wanted to use a pre framed unit and didn't want to be bothered assembling the frame. He knew from the beginning that I wanted the two doors to be the same ant that I wanted a specific look. In my opinion, if you are looking for a contractor to do more than very basic handy man type work, that he is not the one you want.

It went very well. They put drop cloths down when they brought in equipment so everything stayed clean. Kept us informed as they were working and let us check the job. We will use them again for more projects. They were great!
