Paul returned my initial call right away and was very prompt with his follow up. He was able to work around my hectic schedule and he got the job done right away. It's always been hard for me to find someone who's willing to take on small projects. Paul was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I'd highly recommend him.

Work was completed in a very timely fashion with attention to detail. We noticed some other areas that needed addressing and Paul came out the very next day to make adjustments at no extra cost. Paul demonstrates integrity and we would hire him again.

The repair required detail and patience both of which were provided by Honesty and Pride. They did a great job. It does not appear that there was ever any damage.

Paul showed up exactly when he said he would. They got started before I went to work and by the time I got home it was finished and beautifully installed. This is the second time we have contacted Paul for assistance. We were concerned that the harsh winter and heavy snow had possibly done damage to our very large main deck, which is one floor above ground level in the back of our home. Paul was extremely quick to respond, and came out within a couple of days to review. He called us that afternoon to report that all is well and explained what he had seen in detail. He certainly set our minds at ease! Paul is prompt, polite and the work he has done for us was everything we could have hoped for. I will be calling him again soon to replace some sliding doors in the house, and we wouldn't hesitate to give him the highest recommendation!

Paul arrived in a timely manner. It was only a couple of days after speaking with him that he came out to look at the problem. After looking it over, he said he could fix it right way. He went and got the supplies, came back and made the repair. He braced the foundation corner so it could set, left for a few hours, returned when he said he would, made some minor adjustments and finished the same day. He left the site completely clean and was very professional. It was a sigh of relief working with someone as dedicated as he is.

I contacted Paul to get an estimate on replacing some siding that was damaged in a small fire. He returned the call promptly and came out to give me an estimate. Originally he had hoped to just replace the section. Unfortunately the difference would have been to noticeable because of weathering and the grain of the new siding. Paul said he could do the job within a couple days. He showed on the day he said he would and finished the same day. He also switched the burned bricks that had been damaged by the fire. He left the site completely clean and you would never know he was there, except that the house looked great again. Save your time searching for the right contractor, call Paul.

Paul and his assistant arrived at the stated time and went right to work on all of the items. They went to the local store to purchase the light fixture and came back to install it. They were friendly and knowledgable and completed the work in good time. It is difficult to find someone who will do small jobs like this. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely hire Paul again and recommend him.

Paul & his partner turned what looked like a very serious problem into a "no sweat" problem. I'm in my eighties and have bought, upgraded and/or restored a full dozen homes in our travels, and I was impressed enough with what Paul & his partner accomplished that I'm working h****** telling others "these are the "go to" guys". Paul guessed it would require around 3 days work....I felt it would certainly take more. It did not. These two work beautifully together. Partners usually together on jobs..Paul tackled one part of the project while his partner busily worked on another part. These two worked, it seemed, every minute. And best of all was that they were both committed to a demanding level of quality i their work. For instance, each door that was painted was taken off the hinges and the weatherstripping, fully prepared for final coat and allowed to dry before being rehung. That same level of commitment to quality was evident thruout the job. And all was done in the 3 days. And I became more and more convinced that I could trust them competely. So nice to have work done and not have to live with that little concern thruout the job that a corner will be cut someplace. Never a hitch, and I'd hire them for anything they would accept doing!

Paul Nelson was extremely professional. He and his assistant were very quick to respond to our request. When they came to do the estimate, they removed their shoes at the front door. They were our first choice to do the work, however, because of their busy schedule, they were unable to get to our job until well after we needed to have the work done.

They were fantastic, honest, fair, very prompt, and great customer service.

Paul has done work for me before. He contacted me to set a date and came to look over the work. I sent him a somewhat involved diagram of what I wanted for the cabinet and shelves as far as measurements and materials. He then came over to remove/install the dining room light. He called to let me know he would be delayed a bit (this was our first snowstorm before Christmas). He showed on time and brought dropcloths for the floor. I was appreciative of this, as I had just had my floors refinished. After he was done with the light, he doublechecked measurements and went to make the laundry cabinet. He returned later that day and they put it in place. He called the week of Christmas and set the date to come build the shelving. They again brought in dropcloths, and spent the better part of the day building the shelves into the stairwell. I have a small house and wanted to make use of wasted space, so I had measured common things I would store there ( Such as OXO containers or cereal boxes) along with large items I want at hand, but not daily ( Like my crockpot). I was hoping to have them made entirely of wood, but realize that sometimes what we WANT isn't feasible. He lagged in metal supports with the heavy-duty brackets and cut all the solid board shelves to specifications given. He also added decorative millwork (trim) to the front of the laundry cabinet. That is built of solid 3/4" wood, as requested. I also asked for a extra top piece on a piano hinge, so that when I open it , I have a complete folding surface using the cabinet and dryer tops. I primed it and plan to paint it this week. It looks very nice and more importantly, I am sure I won't have to replace it in 5 or even 10 years. Very well-built. When done they cleaned up, packed up, and presented the bill. I have a few more small jobs yet that I plan to ask Mr. Nelson to do for me.

I contacted Paul after we had a little "mishap" with grilling dinner one night and some of our siding was a victim. He was very fast to respond, and after asking a few questions, he told me that he was fully booked with other work (which I believe, based upon his reviews), and that the very cold weather coming up would make working with the siding tricky (which I knew from my own research). He recommended waiting until spring, but said that if I decided to use someone else, he understood. Being in the area only a few months, and knowing that having a GOOD handyman is important, I assured him I would wait until he was available. It turned out he had an opening a few days later, and showed up at the house that day. He assessed the situation, gave us a quote and asked if he could do it right then. We happily accepted. Paul did a great job. Replacing only a section of siding is tricky, but you would hardly know what he installed was not original, unless you were really looking. I'm picky, and I think it looks fantastic. He's a very nice man, professional, and I would (will!) happily hire him again in the future.

Paul had worked for me before, mounting a TV and hanging a large mirror. This time he has many small-med jobs to do for me. This man is reliable, honest, capable,and cleans up when he's finished.Very happy to find him.

They ended up saving us money, the price we ended up paying was $70 less than estimated. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure everything was right for my height. They were very polite and came when they said they would. They were very efficient and got done rather quickly. There was another job I wanted them to do, but they took a look at it and told me not to do it and explained why, so they weren't doing any unnecessary work and overcharging us.
