The absolute worst service I have ever had. We purchased our first home and ran into an unexpected issue with our heating. We had this diagnosed as a failing gas valve. We we charged almost 2000$ for the repair and then told more parts were needed. We were given the option to replace with a 13k new unit as well. We had a second opinion and found a wire disconnected causing this unit not to run. When I was put in contact with the heating manager Scott I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation and misdiagnosis. I was told to "cool my jets, my part was shot and needed to be replaced" I have been asking for over a month for a detailed explanation of what was done and why it was done. No one can provide me details and have been told multiple times I would get a call back and never have. This is absolutely horrible customer service. I have never been treated with such disrespect from someone claiming to be a professional. If I wanted to throw parts at my unit I would have attempted it myself. I called Edwin Stipe for a professional and was left with thousands of dollars in bills and the worst customer service experience I have ever had. The Danielle in the office and technician Joe were both very polite, but I can not stress enough CALL ANYONE ELSE !

Sabistian was prompt, honest, efficient and congenial. I'm very happy with his work on my dinosaur AC unit. When it finally goes I will definitely use Stipes!

The tech arrived on time, was very efficient and professional and explained everything thoroughly. We were well pleased with the service we received.

Always thorough and courteous. Gave helpful tips and observations. No pressure, they let you decide if you want to perform needed ancillary work or them. Give you all the detail needed to do it yourself or let them do it.

Installers arrived on time, did the work in professional manner, answered questions about the installation, verified the operation of the new system, cleaned up and removed the old system, and completed the installation in well under a day.

Edwin Stipe is an excellent company. On this job, most of this work took place in my attic, which is difficult to access. Originally, they came out in April to do the annual service on my air conditioning unit of unknown age. I was very disappointed with the performance of the previous company that was servicing the unit. I knew from past experience the Edwin Stipe people would give me an accurate assessment. They did, and provided pictures. They suggested I replace the unit, which they estimated at 20 years old. We proceeded, and they did a great job. I now have a service contract with them for my oil furnace as well as my air conditioning. Their skill, trustworthiness, and commitment to customer service makes Edwin Stipe a company that stands high above the rest. I recommend Edwin Stipe for all HVAC services.

Our gas hot water heater sprang a leak and stopped working on a Thursday night. I called Edwin Stipe Plumbing the next morning and their person (Josh) was there within the hour. He was very mindful about not tracking in dirt throughout the house. He took a look at the water heater and said he could install a new one right away. He immediately went to the plumbing supply house after we approved the quote and the new hot water heater was in by mid-afternoon. We were also very impressed with Vicki and Debbie in the office. They were both extremely helpful in answering our questions and scheduling the work. It's so nice to find an organization that is both professional and seems to genuinely care about their customer service and I will definitely be calling this company for any plumbing work in the future!

The technician called in advance to confirm his arrival time and he was professional and courteous while he was in my home. His appearance was professional, neat, and clean, wearing a white shirt with his name embroidered on it, and he talked me through the work he was doing and the observations he made. There were no issues with my furnace. I have since recommended Edwin Stipe to a neighbor who had them replace their furnace and told me their experience was the same as mine. I will definitely use them again.

It was excellent. I'm really happy about using them.

An old cast iron radiator in a second floor bedroom sprung a leak, spraying dirty water everywhere. Edwin Stipe Inc responded promptly with a couple of options and ended up replacing it with a new aluminum baseboard radiator. "My Old House" has very old plumbing and you never know what you're going to run into; however, they did a marvelous job and the new radiator works great. Cleanup was difficult and there were problems getting that heavy, dirty old radiator out of the house. The Edwin Stipe company obviously cares very much about finishing the job in the highest quality manner, and worked days afterward to completion where I was completely happy with the results. I highly recommend Edwin Stipe, Inc, and would use their services again.

Excellent service. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. They answered all my questions before, during and after the work was done. Showed up when they said, did exactly what they said they were going do and did a nice job cleaning up.

It took them about an hour to do the work. The workers were good. They were prompt. They left the area as it was before so no problems with cleanup or anything. I'm not sure how much there was to clean up.

It turned out very well. He came out shortly after I purchased the big deal and I was very satisfied with the service. They were very professional. The price was fixed and it included everything. They had a lot of good ideas. There was some confusion on the date and time but we did get it worked out.

It was a little pricey but very professional and punctual. Overall great customer service. Aside from the price everything was really good.

They wanted $79 for a plumber to come to our home before giving us an estimate of what would need to be done and what it would cost. We want a toilet replaced. I submitted a request on their Web site and received no response. After a few days, I called the office. They wouldn't give me any information over the phone beyond the $79 for a plumber to come to our house. So, for the $79 for nothing, I give them an F on price. For not responding to the request submitted on their Web site and for refusing to give me any useful information over the phone, I give them an F for responsiveness. And for all of the above, I give them an F for professionalism.

Technician arrived at scheduled time. He checked the thermostat operation, fan circuit & wiring connectors, checked the water pressure & temperature, cleaning of the system and 15 other checks on various components of the system. I wasn't watching him perform the check-up so I questioned what he did. He gladly offered to show me the inside of the system and what checks were done. He had to go back to his truck to get a screwdriver in order to remove the panel, which he did without hesitation. He was courteous through out the whole process and was happy to explain to me what my system required in concern to the check-up. He found a slight leak to the pipe that goes to my water heater and he gave me an estimate of the cost to fix it. He felt that the leak wasn't significant enough to need a repair at this time, since the surface of the pipe wasn't moist. I really appreciate the extra time he took to make me feel at ease concerning that the work was done, because I used this company's services based on a special $39.00 deal. I would definitely consider using them again for any future check-ups or services.

Tech. was on time, very professional, explained the work and cost, very efficient in workmanship, and cleaned the work area satisfactorily . I will use Stipe Plumbing for all future plumbing problems as my first choice.

Was pushing VERY AGGRESSIVELY to have system replaced indicating that this freon would be outlawed in 2025. A used car salesman if I ever saw one. I would recommend people AVOID this service provider. Also, he indicated at first that he did not receive any money from Angies list, refusing to credit the $49 i had paid for the big deal. later spoke with his supervisor and i was not charged again.

He did a good job. Came and gave an estimate and he was the cheapest so we went with him. He was friendly and did a good job. A little expensive. I would use him again in the future for a quote, but not sure I would use him again because of his price.

I was with him when he was performing the system check up and he pointed out some things and he explained everything. They did exactly what they told me they were going to do. The initial price was 1 unit for $49. They did 3 units for $49. They did an excellent job as well.
