Description of Work: Great Inspection well worth the extra cost. this was not at all the least expensive you'll find here, however in this case you are buying quality.I was in a time crunch and needed a quick turnaround. BPG made an appointment for me with Jim Wilbur (trained by Larry), a former contractor who was on time and got right to work. | |When I asked to shadow him he was happy to explain what he was looking at, looking for, and what he saw. Based on his report I made some major discoveries many that were overlooked in prior inspections, including a cut through floor joist, and several improper repairs. I was able to use this information to negotiate a much better price for the home. | |Ultimately Jim was extremely through, spent more hours with me then I'm sure he should have, and saved me (literary) thousands of dollars. all in all well worth the money.

Description of Work: I was surprised because I had requested Lawrence per the great reviews and ended up with a different inspector and apparently the company has been sold to a bigger inspection company called BPG. Our inspector did a good job but he went off on his own for a lot of it, and I wish he had been with me to point out and explain everything. He was really very helpful and thorough so all in all it was fine.

This included a home inspection, septic system, radon, termite, water quality and air quality report. They were professional and punctual and a pleasure to deal with. They provided us with a final report in a well-organized notebook which is clearly written and very thorough. I found this company on Angie's List and I was not disappointed. I highly recommend this company!

Description of Work: My 89 year old father is selling his house of 45 years. Larry Transue came to do the inspection so that we would know what items to address before we put the house on the market. Larry was extremely thorough and his report is clear and informative. He recommended repair people to come for the serious items and those people were also prompt and efficient.
