This was customer service at its worst. After providing Aqua pools with the deposit required, we had to call a few times to see when the installation would be. Finally, a third party bum called us to schedule. He had never even seen the job, but was positive that we did not require any dry sand to perform the installation. He stated that he would have the job done in a few hours and only accepted payment in the form of CASH. This was a major red flag for us. We wanted the job to be done correctly and given a receipt, warranty, etc. I reached out to Lori, one of the owners, and expressed our concerns. She herself did not understand why her sub-contractor had made those statements. Lori was difficult to talk too but finally realized that we wanted this done correctly. She mentioned that we would have to wait another couple of weeks (after memorial day holiday)for her husband to do the install. We said no problem, again, we wanted this done right. The holiday came and went and we heard nothing. I made a call to Lori and said, Good Morning Lori, how are you doing today? She replied, Busy, what do you want? I let this ignorant reply go and went on to ask about the install date, sand needed, water needed, etc. I was told Thursday or Friday of said week. We never got a courtesy phone call stating they were going to make it or reschedule. Both days came and went and we stopped up to the store to pick up our liner, filter, and skimmer basket. Lori had made a comment about us calling her to let her know things were ready? Now we were really confused. God forbid we called again and bothered her. We paid her, we are the customer, why would we not be ready after all these weeks. If this sounds like communication breakdown, it was! What a horrible experience, what a horrible way to speak to upfront paying customers, and what a horrible way to treat customers. Again, this was customer service at its worst. I would recommend setting your pool on fire before calling this company, if you could do such a thing. No really, this was a horrible experience that I do not wish anyone to have to go through.
